To everyone looking for that afforementioned spreadsheet! it is in my discord under bannerlord resources! Here is the link to the discord! discord.gg/Dwn73hC
Biggest problem is villages can change hands when talking about castles villages if they get taken you lose them. Example is Epicastra or however it is spelled, it has 2 iron and hardwood at start of game and makes a great smithy, but the castle next to it holds one iron and the hard wood, so if either the castle or town gets taken then you lose those and profits go bye bye so paying attention to the castles bound villages is key.
a quick way to check what villages produce around the citys is to go into the trade screen and up the top is a hammer symbol which will show what villages are attached to the city and what they produce
I like how you say horses are irrelevant....my tanners would argue differently! Put tanner workershops where horses are the primary inputs and watch the gold flow - mine make between 500-600 per day. Dead horses = hides, hides go to the tanners to get made into leather. Also means you can buy leather relatively cheap and it’s highly sort after for extra cash, you’re welcome!
It will not work, because you didnt count price for input and output. I had the same thoughts and build workshop in Jaculan with input olives for 15-20 denars and oil 40-50, profit was around 150. But pottery shop in Ortongard with clay 9 and pottery 70-80 i had 400-500.
You know what.. I just built smithys in cities i thought to be rather big and got solid 800-1200. Sometimes 600 but sometimes even 2000 at i think epicrotea. I'm now starting my 2. playthrough and am looking for another way to use workshops equally efficient. But i guess selling weapons to everyone is still the single best.. and if you think about it most obvious solution
Relax friend, you are not pressured at all. Take your time, write a script and just pretend like your talking to one friend. Good information and credit for putting yourself out there.
Got this on recommendations 6 days after post. Remember to say the version of the game, since it's in constant update. Thanks for the vid, just subscribed
How About Pen Cannoc? if i´m not mistaken it has 3 Bound villages with clay and would make a great place for a pottery. Thanks for the other 3 villages.
Hey im wonerdering why i cannot find a shop worker in pen crannoc?i i travel to any shop there is just thugs.yet other citys i can set shops up by talking to a shop worker.cheers such a great info vid
Question are you saying city that has influence on their village or the surrounding villages whether under their protection or not (castles have villages) will send goods to cities. There is only one city that has 4 villages under it. I forgot the name but it has 2 hardwood and iron ore for Smith workshop. The city begins with M.
Hey, great video! I'm a bit confused about the income from my workshops. I have wool weaveries at poros and lycaron and they're making less than 100. I have a brewery at phycaon making 100 ish. All three towns have two relevant inputs each. Is it perhaps the bandits scaring villagers away? I've been playing a tournament only character in this game and will be transitioning to kingdom play.
if you want to buy a workshop the shop worker will ask what do you want to produce there and you can choose from a list(Wine press, brewery, linen weavery etc) and i think the last option says that "i dont want to change what we produce here..."
9min for smth that could be said in probably half the time or less. Maybe you should write down what you want to say instead of repeating yourself numerous times
I’m not trying to be mean but a bit of advice for future videos is to write down the information you’re trying to convey and go through it one at a time. You constantly repeat the same information several times and that’s not necessary. Just a critique my friend.
Watching your video, I'm afraid you mixed some villages up. For example: Qednar doesn't belong to Askar, Talivel isn't associated with Jaculan as well. In the case of Pan Cannoc, there are 3 vilages producing clay, but only 2 who primarily produce grapes. I think your spreadsheet is not at all acurate, sorry. What game version did you use?
the game is broken, I tested caravans and workshops myself. How? I used a mod to speed campaign x9999, gave them max trade stats and other perks, made all factions at permanent peace. Every year, caravans do not make a profit! This includes workshops. Workshops become profitable at its peak, then you must sell it before it is too late.
It's a nah from me dawg. But in all seriousness caravans and shops work fine ,but can be improved upon. First shop no matter where or what I choose to "make" makes up to 100 dennars. Now after the first one other ones if yield is choosen correctly work fine and bring nice profit.
@@DroBlue So I did some testing with mods detailing all the accounting work. This is obviously a supply and demand chain. Look at my screenshots. i.imgur.com/6UXYfGY.jpg
This was a decent video. The substance was there. Try to speak with less nervousness in your voice though. Studies show, speaking with confidence, yet humility, will help you deliver your message more effectively, and command greater respect for the source. Speak with confidence in yourself, spend less time saying I did this, I made this, this information I discovered. It comes across in a negitive way. If you speak wtih more confidence in your tone, and don't take that to mean come across as arrogant, but simply confidence, less stuttering, less repeating, less nervous sounding, and dial back the credit you're trying to give yourself and your videos will convey your message more clearly to more receptive ears, while helping you grow your channel and audience, thus hitting two of your goals.
Thank you the tips are very helpful and I am still trying to improve my speech. If you look at one of my older videos you will see how remarkably horrible it use to be!
I love the way the Devs facerolled the names for everything. Either they are laughing their asses off listening to people try to pronounce them or they are crazy enough to think that the encryption cipher names sound great rolling off the tongue like projectile vomit.
They nerfed all workshops with the recent "patches". Here are the screenshots of profit of the workshop from e 1.4.0: imgur.com/f9XJKjR imgur.com/DW7jvBu imgur.com/7tx4Spz

You should just write down your points and make sure you cover them once, twice at most. You don't need to keep rejustifying your train of thought.
Put a pottery in pen cannot I don’t know if it was told in the video but it is the best in the game

Are these more profitable than caravans?
Joe Friday I do not believe so.
They are less risky, so they aren't as profitable, as it should be.
Hasn't the income from workshops been capped at like 200 gold ? Or did I hear some fake news?
MC Mark Markson I think they nerfed it but not that much
It was capped at 200 as a temporary measure while they fixed the bug causing 10's of thousands being made
