sorry it was blocked... I think Jimin fainted right as he walked off stage after the performance... there are clips of it from other views etc. He may not have been in the best condition that day... who knows but he definitely always goes full out during live performances

There are some compilation videos of Jimin's dance focus on awards shows. The one at MMA 2019 where he, in white costume, did some acrobatic movement in air beautifully, including spinning is my top favorite.
You should show him the four mini dance performances they did (taeyhung, jimin, jungkook and j-hope) during their MMA performance of 2019, jimin piece was pure contemporary

It's Taeyhung's charismatic power when the first time you saw him. He is just vibi'n but you will fall for his own style in dancing. He will go fierce if needed and just chillin to a happy song. His stage presence and facial expressions are incredible.

Honestly, I've been watching bts since my debut, but I never imagined V would develop like that. It has technical aspects and parts that are difficult to express in words.
Practice and hard work can bring perfection.
You right… day by day he have a strong identity in himself.. as a great artist… practice and hardworking make everthing perfect. One thing from him.. his natural talent make it effortless always my eyes catch on him first

Can I just remind everyone that suga was doing these dances before he had his surgery. Which means he was doing these extremely demanding choreographies with a busted shoulder. 😍💜

well jimin trained in hiphop/popping when he was younger and then contemporary in high school so i can see why he excels in the on choreo. i also feel that jimin during a dance practice is different than stage jimin. it's almost like he uses practices to block movements & conserve energy while stage jimin goes full out. it'd be nice if you showed him jimin's solo for i need u at 2019 mma and his black swan solo from mots one! great reaction as always.
Jimin is a BEAST on stage (and that's putting it lightly!) Merv hasn't seen anything yet! This is just a "warmup" for him. 😂

That’s typically what dance practice is for, most dancers don’t go full out to manage their energy and not get burnt out because the level of energy needed for the stage is really something else

I respect this guy. He's VERY on point with JImin, scarily accurate. This guy really knows his stuff I feel.
Jimin has this *extra* talent with dance, and I think he's the best dancer in K-Pop, but he doesn't get the chance to show it nearly enough and a lot of the time if he isn't given a specific role which pushes his talent forward like in "On", he seems like he fades into the background even though his dance ceiling is actually clearly the highest in the group.
The more difficult and important his piece is, the more Jimin shines, but there are plenty of less difficult BTS dances (which are relatively "easy" for him) where he doesn't really show his extra quality.
Taehyung is an amazing performer. Love that for him. He's flawless. 🤌
V, Hobi, Jk, &Jimin are in a dance line for a reason. They all have thier own style and they are all good at it. But V is my favorite because of his swag and stage presence.

Still he's so smooth, elegant and graceful while performing. His steps are very clean and perfect. And about JK how powerful he's while dancing you can clearly see but I think you can't accept the reality. Yes we've our own different taste but you don't have any rights to disrespect Tae in this way. It's OK if you don't like.
But jhope's dance skills is incomparable tbh, for me
it's so funny that just because someone's fave wasn't noticed be like you should watch this and that...just KTH aura and stage presence alone can make you drawn unto him and him shining and standing out even if it's two lines or no lines at all in a song..that's his power and charisma that nobody can replicate..he just enjoys himself everytime and walla excels just like that...big or small stage,practice or true performance doesn't matter as long as you have that it factor you'd standout...

Actually, I think he is awesome. It is amazing to see how he has improved over the years and has developed a more personal style. Then there is the fact that their choreographer now considers him a part of the dance line even if it is not official.
No, he is not. Who is he underrated by? It is a narrative someone started and is so degrading to fans and general public.
If he were underrated no way would he have got the first fancam and fansite in BTS and the most viewed fancams in the industry. And mind you, he is the Idol of Idols... they have studied him from his debut.

As a dancer myself, I think J-hope, Jimin and V has the most fluidity in their movement. It seems like their body doesn't even weight and they are flying. This is a thing one does not get by practice. One can definitely ace dancing by practice but the fluidity of movement is often one has as a bodily attribute since the beginning even if it's unpolished.

@@user-qd5gr8ql2w I didn't mention JK because he's a fierce dancer. Which means that his performances are often powerful and gives us a sense of sudden energy.
Most often, powerful dancers have a lesser fluidity in their movement as a stylistic choice because the fluidity gives a sense of ease and calmness in the dance which is obviously the opposite of Fierce dancing (Jk's style most often).
Everyone have different dancing style and sometimes the styles oppose each other, just like Jimin had hard time to get the hip-hop vibe initially since he had been a contemporary dancer.
So, JK has his own beautiful style and he doesn't need to possess or show every style at once since that would result in nothing but chaos. I hope I made myself clear. And I appreciate you clearing the problem since the other person said nothing but "its funny" and it made me confused.
When jk dances, he give his full up to the point of breaking his bone, not a single choreography left behind
V on stage is another level.hes known for his smooth way of dancing,facial expressions. Theres a reason his fancam is the most watched. watching actual stage performance is so much more to it.
He has the most fans compared to the other members. That's why his fancam is the most watched. Nothing else.
I’m not impressed with V’s fancam popularity, but having viewed so many live performances, he stands out as a visual-strong, dramatic. However, as a group I like to see a bit more symmetry, not just one person standing out. Tae has improved markedly over the years as a dancer and is charismatic and beautiful, but I feel his dance moves get overly stylized, him putting his input on a dance move, but not synching with the other BTS members (I see him do this often). He makes for great fancams but not group synchronicity.

Jungkook is incredibly talented all rounder who can do everything, he is an amazing performer, his stage presence is so good and his ability to dance and sing all styles is insane! He is so good 😊
I also liked Jungkook the most in the first place, his strong, powerful, blocky moves just make everything very energetic. He always attracts people by his vocal & moves

J-Hope, Jimin, Tae and JK all do their own dance at the MMA 2019 and Jimin does a beautiful contemporary piece with a prop and it was amazing. All the guys were but Jimin's was beautiful

Jimin actually won hip hop dance contests when he was in Junior High & he became the top student in his contemporary dance class. He is correct about Jk. He's takin' over, you should know. Man I wish he could react to Jimin's onstage performances like the onstage MMA 2019 contemporary piece or ON/Black Swan or even Dimple onstage. It would be so cool to see his thoughts on them! Jimin is v well known for taking it a little slower and lower in practice videos. They seem to be more about blocking movements and getting down formations for Jimin.

Jungkook in the red and black is my fav. He really goes hard when he dances. It’s really impressive because he’s the main vocalist, lead dancer and center so he’s usually singing a lot of the lines, harmonies and adlibs and his voice remains so stable with bts difficult choreography. They are all so impressive
It's a bit of a misconception, Jimin's dance history. Many fans talk about his contemporary and modern dance training. Which he did for two years and it's rare in kpop. But he danced hip hop, popping and did martial arts for many more years long before that and after. Which makes the fact that he still keeps all those skills pretty cool.
True! I learnt about his hip hop background too however it’s clear it’s not what he naturally excelled at otherwise he would be on par with J-Hope in styles like mic drop or even on.
His contemporary style is what makes him special, whether he did for a shorter time or not is how I see it. Hence why he excels in fake love whereas JHope falls short.
His prior training helps to give him an edge though but it’s not where he excels.

You really need to see Jimin's solos in the finished MV Black Swan. That is where he shines showing his contemporary dance chops.
Jin, the mysterious one with the red stripe, never danced before BTS. He could never catch on to learn the dances fast. So...on his own...he would go home and rehearse for hours til he got it. We all love him for his extra effort. He had never sung before either. Listen to "Yours". Jin just did his first OST. You will hear how wonderfully he sings now.

can y'all stop introducing Jimin as only a contemporary dancer? it's 2021 ffs Jimins STARTED with hiphop and did many more years of it and THEN he enrolled into a dance school where he studied contemporary for not even 2 years if I am not mistaken. yes, he is a prodigy in contemp but y'all really ned to stop trying to box him into being only a contemporary dancer because he is NOT

Every time I watch one of these I always wonder why people are determined to erase Jimin's start in dance being hip hop and not contemporary. I am always here for Taehyung getting this shine though. Lad worked hard to become an official part of dance line and sometimes people like to forget that. Now get him to watch 3J things.

You’re right V’s dancing is underrated and he is the one that didn’t have any formal dancing lessons whatsoever…he is just naturally graceful but can be seductive at the same time.

I don't know what technical dancer means. Performing on stage is the combination of singing, dancing, putting on a show and the vibe. Taehyung just creates the best mood based on the song. His voice, vocals, vibe, improvs, looks, proportionality, confidence all are just crazy🔥
To me he is the best performer in the world💜 Cannot get enough of him and am glad he is not boxed or trained into a style of dance. He is a natural dancer who can do anything and everything from soft to tough untarnished by rules!

There is actual footage of a contemporary performance that Jimin performed in at school. It is short, but it shows his early stages.

See I think he sometimes stands out when he shouldn’t. I think this guy is right that there is always a contemporary element to his dance even when it’s hip hop, which, when you’re going for uniformity can sometimes detract from the overall picture. I think Jimin is an incredible dancer though, I just think his style is the most unique of all of them which is sometimes a positive and sometimes a negative

In these choreo vids there are other factors as well. Like in Boy With Luv dance practice I just can't take my eyes off Jimin. He stands out in every way there, outfit, hair, dance and so on. Here he looks quite anonymous bc of his looks is hidden. He stands out a lot in the MV.
Taehyung definitely is an underrated dancer he doesn't get much credit for being part of the dance line. But I'm happy to see more reactors who dance for a living/profession take notice of Taehyungs dance skills. He brings a different vibe/aura when it comes to dancing and it's not just the little movements that he adds, but he definitely pays attention to every detail where his whole body is expressive along with his face and that just makes his dancing entertaining and pleasing to the eye. I love that there are never dull moments in his performance he is always changing it up and that's what makes him interesting to watch. Anyways great reaction and I hope you get to watch more of Tae's performances like Singularity. 😁
I see so many people completely omit him when commenting about the dance line. They only talk about the 3Js. I know they were the originals, but V is in the dance line now. They can't just ignore that.

Jimin has done gorgeous solo Black Swan in MOT ONE concert in case you don’t know.. He can watch other solo perf of Jimin like Serendipity, Lie and his solos in MMA. I am surprised he didn’t mention J Hope who is very good too. All 3J (J Hope, Jung kook, Jimin) are good in their own way.
Dancingwise I think Tae shines a lot in dynamite. It just fits super well with his style and he looks like he’s have a great tome
