I love the fact that one of the first things you did in the video was to state both your hand sizes. Make it much easier for me to judge how the sizes of each mouse might suit me. As you go through the rest of the video.
got my X2H Mini a few days ago and I can already say it's the best mouse i've ever used. the shape is king, the clicks are light and crisp and feel very fast, the 4k implementation is flawless, nothing to complain. big hit from pulsar
What are the clicks like on the pulsar x2h mini mouse? Are they hard clicks? I heard that they have a tape inside that makes the clicks feel sticky but this is solved by opening the mouse and removing said tape.
Thank you! We've both been putting in a lot of work to both design better testing rigs and creating better testing/data collection methodology, and I've been working on writing code to automate some of the analysis of the data so we're able to use a lot more data to get the results. We should have a video up about some of our new testing procedures and plans for the future within the next week or 2!
You guys finally cracked the code of mouse reviews - Disclosing your hand sizes, and recommending based on grip style + hand dimensions. Nobody does this, they only mention one or the other.
damn really good video. I have the atlantis mini and the HTS+ 4k, and I'm thinking of getting the X2H mini simply because it has the hump that the atlantis mini doesn't have and is smaller to the ground than the HTS+. Do you know if my assumptions is right, and do you have both and can tell me anything that I should keep in mind? TIA, and subscribed :)
Thank you! It's been a while since I have used the HTS+, but I think your assessment of the X2H Mini in comparison to it and the Atlantis mini is accurate.
Surprised that you prefer the Za13, what was holding me back in getting the new Pulsar X2H is the optical switches, now the Za13 has mechanical switches and i can solder whatever switch i want, my head is even more confused ahahahah
Hey MineMouse! If I were to get the La-1 in its current state, is it still a decent mouse? Dont know how long it'll take for them to fix for "final" product
Yeah I'd say it is. Honestly my first reaction when I felt their unit that wasn't up to their release standards was wtf they didn't release this?? Like yeah there is side flexing for sure and stuff, but it's by no means a bad mouse. I'd say it'd pretty similar build quality to a pre htx gwolves mouse. Like it isn't s tier build quality by anymeans but it also isn't unusable by anymeans either. I'd say the unit we got would be low a teir with its build quality and other features
Hey, what colour would you recommend going for then for size 1. I had to white and clicks felt snappy but did suffer from when you dont press them for 5 mins it has a slight pop on first click. I returned it got the black, the coating is an oil magnet but the switches seemed off. M1 was almost mushy and activated very low almost bottoming out. Now im not sure if i cop a white one or hold off. The rest of the mouse is amazing and i perform great on it coming from lamzu mink
We had the same issue with the click popping on the first click on all of our units. I think going for a white unit would be good, as I generally preferred the click feel on my white X2H.
cane you palm grip the x2h i palm grip the lamzu maya and the back hump is not my favorit its to flat for me so im looking for sometheng with a more steep back hump
I would like to but lamzu atlantis pro 4k or pulsar x2 v2. But im undecided could you help me ? And material quality is also important for me. Could you tell me which ones material make you feel better ?
Both mice are really really good. Overall I think a good unit of the X2V2 will feel more solid and premium than the Atlantis 4K, but I have heard more reports of quality control issues for Pulsar mice than Lamzu. If you can buy from a place that allows you to return mice with quality issues easily, then I'd think Pulsar would be the way to go for long term durability because of the stronger build and optical switches.
I really want to! Hoping LGG will stock them and send us a unit, as Ninjutso has not responded to our attempts to contact them, and I don't have much money to spend lol.
You could maybe look at the haste/haste 2. It has a relativly low but wide hump, making it fairly maneuverable in hand while still having that wider hump
The scroll looks like the one from the Superlight which is the worst scroll ever used in a mouse. It scrolls by itself or by barely touching it and in a random direction. Hope it's just visually similar.
Wait are you talking about the super light or the x2h. Because on all 3 copies of our x2h I haven't seen any acidental scrolling issues. But on my gpx iv definitely experienced scroll issues.
@@minemouse I'm talking about the Superlight. It's also the one i'm currently using and I wanted to upgrade to the newer version with usb-c and whatnot but they didn't upgrade the wheel it seems. I was going through Logitech's reddit and saw a few people reporting the exact same issues on the Superlight 2 already. I was looking for a mouse with similar shape and just noted that the scroll wheel on the x2h looks (from the outside) like the scroll on my Superlight and triggered my PTSD.
Oh OK ok, yeah my original comment was refering to the x2h. Saying that you shouldn't run into any issues with the scroll as far as my personal experience with the 3 different units pulsar sent us, and that I haven't heard much of anything about people complaining about the scroll on it
Love your stuff, but I'm thinking that for something to make S tier, it needs to exhibit more consistent quality. In your examples, the variations in performance across the same model were fairly significant. Thanks for putting all of these together!
Yeah that's super fair! The reason we decided to put it in S tier was because of how wildly impressed we were by the build quality and overall features of the good units. I believe the differences in click feel between the color variants has been observed on other mice too, and it might be due to the application of the coating to preserve the color. The scroll issue we had was certainly unideal though which is what pushed the mouse down a bit for us.
@@minemouse Totally makes sense. It's surprising how much we're paying for outsourced products these days, yet the consistency in quality is a crapshoot. Fingers crossed that it improves across the board! Still, I can't knock Pulsar too much here, they've been assembling some great products. Thanks again!

We try our best to give info that can allow everyone to get an idea of how the mouse will feel to them vs just how it feels to us!

pulsar just proving they're one of the BEST! glad to see you're working on getting even more accurate data man. putting in the work, respect!

Big fan of the X2-H Mini shape! Nice review 👍🏻
Thanks! I like the feel of the X2H Mini a lot, I just don't perform as well as I would expect with it for some reason.

sry for asking but is there a review of normal darmoshark m3?
We do have one but dont plan on making a review on it unfortunately. And no need to apologize! We're here if you ever need answers to any questions.
Lamzu Atlantis mini pro 4k is half the price of this mouse where I can buy

Do you guys have any recommendation for a mouse that isn't too narrow (GPX for example feels too narrow) with very good inner hand maneuverability?
What part of the GPX feels too narrow for you?
@@minemouse Definitely the hump

how is qc on this? wanting to get one but idk if shud wait for a colored release or no

While this isn't my favorite scroll. It's far from the worst, you shouldn't have any problems like that with it
@@minemouse the internet is full of complaints and "how to fix it" videos though. Maybe you are an exception or your mouse is fairly new still.

What are your guys’ best recommendation for a relaxed claw grip? (18.5x11 cm hands)
Mini, of course
X2h mini is the best mouse now. That from someone that bought 6 mice to find the right one.
