Reminded me of a kpop vocal analysis blog who said that Changsub's voice is a beautiful instrument, and Changsub is smart in utilizing his instrument to produce sounds and effects that he wants with his technique. And yes, Changsub has the best voice tone. My fave one in the world.
There are very few groups that have the ability to make people feel nostalgic. For me, that group is BTOB. I was there when they were first a seven piece group and crushed when Ilhoon left. I’m proud of them for continuing their journey. My bias since I discovered them has been Minhyuk/HUTA. Vocal wise, my bias is Hyunsik. These men hold a special spot in a lot of Melody’s hearts even now, including mine.
28:22 Dingo’s Sound Representative admitted they omitted quite a number of ad libs during post production because their mics are catching each other’s voices creating weird overlapping noises. That’s why some parts didnt sound right. I believe they should have had a bigger studio to avoid this, at least if it’s BTOB singing 😂
That explains the weird sound mixing in some parts. That makes sense though. With how close they are, their mics would be catching all those sounds when they're belting.
no wonder, i was wondering why the whole video sounded way too overprocessed for a group of btob's caliber. i guess dingo's team needs to learn some pointers from tiny desk or the first take's sound engineering team.
tbf I doubt they've really ever had this problem before btob came in. but would've been nice to have the full btob experience with all their adlibs and stuff.

Finally BTOB on Killing Voice :) it took a long time and they should have been on there ages ago! What an amazing group, 2012 boy groups have given us so many beautiful vocalists! I swear anytime Changsub opens his mouth no matter what song it is, it just hits me so hard like its so magical and his voice pierces through to my heart (lol), and of course the rest are equally amazing, Hyunsik's range is crazy, Seungjae's old school ballad voice is beautiful, and Eunkwang is awesome too, of course Paniel and Minhyuk's rap and singing just completed the songs.Its so funny to think that at one point they were going to debut them with like a focus on them being acrobatic group
I’d never checked them out before this Killing Voice and I am in love with Hyunsik’s voice!! The low tone you focused on around 18:30 really got me blushing 😂
This has been the longest BTOB reaction video that I have watched but still felt short because of your on point, realistic, relatable, and of course, your non-stop praises to our boys esp. to uri Changseobi. I am one of Changsub's singing voice slave.
Also do you know Changsub has opened his vocal training center? That supports the opinion “Changsub can sing”. So he has the ability to teach others with his skills.
Finished watching now, your reactions were a mood. I myself ascended in few places too. You just cannot go wrong with BTOB's vocals. The cleanse of the soul for us mere sinners. Also I agree that the backtrack was WAY too loud, which is why I think the harmony in I'll Be Your Man didn't click. They probably didn't hear themselves properly since the rappers were also going off at the same time.

I can give my heart and soul for Eunkwangs voice but Changsub voice also kills me. It's so hard to choose which among the two of them I love the voice more. I love Hyunsik can go low and so high too and Sungjaes voice is so MANLY. It's makes me fall in love . ❤

Great analysis! I think BTOB also adjusts their technique depending on the song lyrics. They always want to convey the right emotions when singing. It might be good to check the lyrics as well!

Hi, thank you so much for reacting to BTOB! And since you mentioned that the song sounded loud at times, dingo has apologized for the mixing in this video. Apparently, their mics were picking on each other's voices and they had to try and fix the issue during the mixing. Which is why you can barely hear their high notes sometimes, i don't think the song was loud but they had to lower their voices haha once again, thank you so much!
I'm so glad you checked out BTOB's Killing Voice! They are such a gem to have in the k-pop industry. I would like to recommend Highlight's Killing Voice. Formerly known as BEAST (B2ST), they were originally a six-member group that debuted in 2009 under CUBE. However, two members left the group and four members re-debuted under the name Highlight in 2017. Have a great day!!
I'm truly happy you're reacting to this killing voice, always appreciate your insight, you have helped a pretty unskilled listener have a greater appreciation of music and singing! When i first listened, I kept thinking during the whole thing that my speakers where malfunctioning because the harmonies didnt sound right! Also when you get to know their live singing and then listen to this, you get thta nagging feeling that sone of them should be louder. And at some points you can see them singing ad libs or apparently singing at the same volume but it comes out kind of muffled. Turns out there were some mixing/microphone picking sound weird problems! I'm kinda proud me and many other melodies noticed lol, BTOB has trained our ears well. I wish they had added 5 more minutes because i really wanted Insane, Wow, Movie, All wolves except me and Finale in there haha and someday had to be longer!! Because that song does things to my feelings. And i wish peniel had sung/rapped more, last song proved to me he has actually worked on his voice and i want more of it. Tbh i love him and i wish he had more of a presence in the songs, like in BTOB4U but i get they have a ton going on as is in every song haha About Eunkwang's dramatic ass, there was another vocal coach reaction channel with a couple of singers, can't remeber the name, that kept pointing the same thing, that he just did waaay too much. Since he seems to be fully able to tone the FACE down on command, i think he just enjoys doing the most and has the ability so he doesnt even worry about messing up or anything while doing his thing. And hes the leader! He's very gentle and sometimes it seems like hyunsik overpowers him but hes been credited many times with the group's long career and good relationship, leading by example always. Hyunsik usually has a ton of influence in the group tho. Changsun is the fucking best, like id even know how he does it! He sings so cadually, like the sound just comes out of him ! He looks so effortless like one of those old timey singers but like doing all sorts of flexing with his voice! Totally opposite. And yeah hyunsik voice is all around amazing and we need more rock sings from him, changsub and the maknae! Sungjae has grown a ton, hes now truly on par with the rest. And his tone is fantstic, pretty unique I'd say also! My comment is super long, sorry for that! Theres just so much to discuss in there. Thank you for your long reaction too hehe Other killing voice episodes i can recommend are Apink's and Highlight's, not as flashy vocally but pretty solid and really shows the growth and amazing teamwork of 2nd gen groups. Also can't recommend Xia's killing voice enough. He's a fantastic singer and a very interesting voice, does a lot of musical theatre and also more pop songs.

I also tried to film Xia but his vibrato and way of phrasing was really distracting and unenjoyable that I stopped recording also. I definitely preferred him in smaller doses in TVXQ. Yes finally! I didn't know this would drop yet BTOB has always been one of my fav groups. They're so underrated but i don't get why they have so much talent, great vocals and charismatic personalities. This killing voice just proves my point💁🏻♀️🩷👌🏼 After the EXO killing voice i can die happily and peacefully but it better be at least 30 min long😂

HAHA Been struggling to find my next Kpop obsession after After School was disbanded 8 years ago, and as I'm getting older (Damn, that's hurt)😂, I'm looking for some ballad music and i found BTOB. Since then, Ive been listening to them all day especially on the rainy day.
Changsub is my Ultimate Bias. 10/10 agree, he has one of the top male voices in Kpop. I also really like Jongho, Yonghoon, Max Changmin and, weirdly enough, Bobby from iKON. He's got a jazzy twist to his singing that I'm weak for.
Ever since Mamamoo was the first girl kpop group that performed on killing voice, I was waiting for BTOB to come on!!! Did not disappoint!!! They're so talented and underrated. Eunkwang is the leader (a gentle leader); Hyunsik is responsible for most of their discography and thus has a lot of influence in the group; and yes, Sungjae is the maknae.

Every single member adds so much to the songs, they're all equally important contributors into creating the "BTOB genre." Honestly wish we could've heard the adlibs and harmonies better if it wasn't post-produced so much but couldn't be helped that BTOB have such powerful vocals that it overlaps over their mics. I'm especially so happy to finally find a reactor who deeply appreciates Changsub's voice as much as I do! I have the same reactions as you every time he comes on 😆His tone is so unique but what I really love about his singing is how nuanced it is and how he interprets every single line and note as if he's telling a story.
Fun fact: Hyunsik and Changsub graduated from Howon University’s practical music program. Howon has one of Korea’s most prestigious music programs. They got admitted with a ratio of 3000:5.

Hi, thank you so much for reacting to BTOB! And since you mentioned that the song sounded loud at times, dingo has apologized for the mixing in this video. Apparently, their mics were picking on each other's voices and they had to try and fix the issue during the mixing. Which is why you can barely hear their high notes sometimes, i don't think the song was loud but they had to lower their voices haha once again, thank you so much!

Formerly known as BEAST (B2ST), they were originally a six-member group that debuted in 2009 under CUBE. However, two members left the group and four members re-debuted under the name Highlight in 2017. Have a great day!!

When i first listened, I kept thinking during the whole thing that my speakers where malfunctioning because the harmonies didnt sound right! Also when you get to know their live singing and then listen to this, you get thta nagging feeling that sone of them should be louder. And at some points you can see them singing ad libs or apparently singing at the same volume but it comes out kind of muffled. Turns out there were some mixing/microphone picking sound weird problems! I'm kinda proud me and many other melodies noticed lol, BTOB has trained our ears well.
I wish they had added 5 more minutes because i really wanted Insane, Wow, Movie, All wolves except me and Finale in there haha and someday had to be longer!! Because that song does things to my feelings. And i wish peniel had sung/rapped more, last song proved to me he has actually worked on his voice and i want more of it. Tbh i love him and i wish he had more of a presence in the songs, like in BTOB4U but i get they have a ton going on as is in every song haha
About Eunkwang's dramatic ass, there was another vocal coach reaction channel with a couple of singers, can't remeber the name, that kept pointing the same thing, that he just did waaay too much. Since he seems to be fully able to tone the FACE down on command, i think he just enjoys doing the most and has the ability so he doesnt even worry about messing up or anything while doing his thing. And hes the leader! He's very gentle and sometimes it seems like hyunsik overpowers him but hes been credited many times with the group's long career and good relationship, leading by example always. Hyunsik usually has a ton of influence in the group tho.
Changsun is the fucking best, like id even know how he does it! He sings so cadually, like the sound just comes out of him ! He looks so effortless like one of those old timey singers but like doing all sorts of flexing with his voice! Totally opposite. And yeah hyunsik voice is all around amazing and we need more rock sings from him, changsub and the maknae!
Sungjae has grown a ton, hes now truly on par with the rest. And his tone is fantstic, pretty unique I'd say also!

Other killing voice episodes i can recommend are Apink's and Highlight's, not as flashy vocally but pretty solid and really shows the growth and amazing teamwork of 2nd gen groups. Also can't recommend Xia's killing voice enough. He's a fantastic singer and a very interesting voice, does a lot of musical theatre and also more pop songs.

@@ProyectoFreeEarth Ha thank you so much. Tbh I just didn't like any of their songs and I wasn't obsessed with their voices either. I also tried to film Xia but his vibrato and way of phrasing was really distracting and unenjoyable that I stopped recording also. I definitely preferred him in smaller doses in TVXQ.

Yes finally! I didn't know this would drop yet BTOB has always been one of my fav groups. They're so underrated but i don't get why they have so much talent, great vocals and charismatic personalities. This killing voice just proves my point💁🏻♀️🩷👌🏼

Changsub is my Ultimate Bias. 10/10 agree, he has one of the top male voices in Kpop. I also really like Jongho, Yonghoon, Max Changmin and, weirdly enough, Bobby from iKON. He's got a jazzy twist to his singing that I'm weak for.

Ever since Mamamoo was the first girl kpop group that performed on killing voice, I was waiting for BTOB to come on!!! Did not disappoint!!! They're so talented and underrated. Every single member adds so much to the songs, they're all equally important contributors into creating the "BTOB genre." Honestly wish we could've heard the adlibs and harmonies better if it wasn't post-produced so much but couldn't be helped that BTOB have such powerful vocals that it overlaps over their mics. I'm especially so happy to finally find a reactor who deeply appreciates Changsub's voice as much as I do! I have the same reactions as you every time he comes on 😆His tone is so unique but what I really love about his singing is how nuanced it is and how he interprets every single line and note as if he's telling a story.
