    This might be the most sectarian Lebanese comment in this section lol, but I have to come clean. When I read the name Charles Al Hayek and the title I did not expect this episode to be any good. I am happy I gave it a chance. I expected the traditional Christian extremist right wing isolating narrative, which Charl actually destroys very objectively, interestingly, and respectfully. Very good professional work, and his passion for history is exceptional. I hope to see more of Charles and more intellectual people like him. People who really want to solve things with and open mind and passion who want to bring people together, unlike nadim koteich. thank you for this insightful episode.

    I have watched this specific episode 8 times. This kind of perspective to history to what is happening in Lebanon, and the middle east as a whole is amazing. This is History as we need to hear it, a tool for analyzing the past, understabdibg the present and plan the future!
    Thank you both for this amazing project!!!

      The language is not pure classical Arabic. It's the lebanese dialect intertwined with French and English words and phrases, as many Lebanese speak all three languages.

    • @Bibliotecanatalie
      @Bibliotecanatalie 3 роки тому +4

      @@tijojoseph3315 I am lebanese and I dont speak french. I do speak english but that does not make it an official lebanese language or dialet? Do u think as lebanese ur the only one in the world who knows languages? 😶
      When I speak, I dont mix arabic with any other language. Maybe its about time ur proud of ur roots and language? Just like the rest of world is including the French who stick to their own language.. also, its about time u stop being ignorant about ur language and being proud of others. And finally, I think Its about time people’s mind gets liberated away from the effect colonization.
