God forbid a guy like Sandstorm participates in an annual tournament and doesn’t sweep the entire bracket, lest the viewers give him shit. Guy is just living his best life, give him a break. @@BTVagrant Perhaps i should clarify and say i don’t disparage fans of Lampy or Caspian enjoyers. I just think it’s a shame gamers like Sandstorm have expectations projected onto them that they can’t always live up to, and all people see is a former champion that isn’t in his top form instead of an underdog scoring a win in a set against a veteran in the scene, even if that veteran isn’t grinding to be number one.
Sorry if I wasn’t clear about things. New blood deserves recognition for their achievements, even if they’ve been in the scene for a while. I learned that first hand seeing Impala become world champion.
And there’s nothing wrong with rooting for whoever mains/plays a certain character, for the record. I just think it’s silly that people decide to latch onto someone who’s moved on already instead of checking out gamers like luna who rose to the top of the scene in dominant fashion. He even plays Mordex, for cryin’ out loud.
I ended up not keeping it to myself, Vagrant. Whoops. I’ll stop now, though. Sorry for being rude.

Those expensive ones with short stop triggers don’t have that same issue, and I use the Switch pro controller since I don’t want to piss away £200 for a controller I have to replace the day after the warranty ends. The switch controller doesn’t have a long press, plus it’s not like I have an option, I play on the switch right now.

Sandstormi is the biggest in brawhalla, he just steped out for a time, not a big deal.
He is really a masterming that dictated how to play the game.

I personally think him losing this year BCX is a good thing, why? Losing actually makes you a stronger person, it feels you with motivation with wanting to win. I checked Sandstorm's channel and it seems he is playing other game... Maybe he lost his passion after winning so much, and tgat's exactly why he has to lose, so he can regain his passion! I think if he genuinely is serious about quitting brawl, he just should. It’s not great seeing the guy that I admired when starting this game losing almost every tournament now.
He just needs to get back on the grind if he really wants to reign again. But it’s hard without proper motivation
Also, he still got an insane losers run and got 9th which is not bad at all considering he only really practiced for a month or so

This was one of his first games in the tournament. He later on beat phazon 3-0 and got 9th even though he went to the losers bracket super early. He only lost to stingray and it went to the last hit in game 5.

Idk if you really watched the tournament of him playing back then compared to now. It's so obvious. He dodges way worse than he used to and messes up so many attacks now.
