Nicole looks amazing at 0:42. I think the casting was spot on. Nicole is a bit older than Grace was at the time but Grace aged quickly (while remaining stunningly beautiful) as a Princess.
what are you all talking about! nicole is perfect for this role! i doubt they could've found someone else as gracious of her to play this role ! cmon people, even if you don't like her you gotta admit the truth!
Maybe the Principality will dislike it because we can see a sad Grace who apparently had a sad life because she missed her Hollywood life (we all would've loved to see her in many more movies), but it is a known fact that she did feel that way... anyway, the film looks interesting and the cast is great, Nicole is the only one who has the same kind of beauty and elegance that Grace had.
After watching GoneGirl, I wish so much that Rosamund Pike (Amy) will play Grace Kelly in another movie! Someone please please remake a Grace Kelly movie with Rosamund Pike as lead before she gets too old!
I hope that this movie will be good. Nicole is such an amazing actress but she didn't have the best movies in recent years in my opinion (except Rabbit Hole, very touching and she was brilliant). I miss her in good movies with good roles like The Others, The Hours, Moulin Rouge!, To Die For, ... I hope this will be one of them :)
Barbara Gordon Eh? That is an incorrect assertion, as both of them were princesses - Diana was the Princess of Wales while she was married to Charles, and Grace was Princess of Monaco. Check Wikipedia.
MsSteelphoenix *Sigh* I don't need to check wikipedia, but on it there's a quote from Diana saying that she wasn't an actual Princess. You see, one has to be born a princess...it's a title given at birth, but because people loved Diana they called her the "People's Princess". and "Princess of Wales" en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Princess_of_Wales "Though Diana, Princess of Wales was commonly called "Princess Diana" after her marriage to Charles, Prince of Wales, it was officially incorrect, as Diana herself pointed out, because she was not a princess in her own right. Similarly Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, is neither "Princess Camilla" nor "Duchess Camilla". Read it under Status of the Title. Next time don't be so rude and definitively correct someone, especially on such a subject without doing some research.
I can't believe I missed this movie , I never see it here in Vero Beach, so I am waiting for next month to buy it when it is coming in DVD. Nicole Kidman is a great actress and I believe she did an awesome job in this movie about Grace Kelly's life.
This will be on Lifetime channel 5/25/2015 for Memorial day. ...The hard work that was put into this film...almost 2 years unnoticed....many say one Nicole Kidman's best works...
As someone who lives in this region of the world and works with clients in the Principality of Monaco on a daily basis, this movie has brought up quite the discussion. Although the setting and the location shots are beautiful, there has been little to no background documentation presented to show the in-depth facts this story is based on. The Grimaldi's are very proud and quietly charitable people and they are much loved in many regards. What I find interesting is this movie apparently had to be re-edited a number of times. Let's see what the final product brings when it is released.
Should be an interesting film! I've always found the story of Grace Kelly fascinating and I can't think of a more superior cinematic beauty. It would appear from the trail that the film contains a homage to the classic firework scene in "To Catch a Thief." Very nice touch, I should say!
I was excited about the movie until I read the reviews. No one said anything good about it. Most critics said Kidman's acting was crappy and as was the script. Monaco's Royal family dissed it too because it wasn't biopic.
Nicole looks AMAZING, not like a princess, like the Goddes! like 35 in this movie not even a year more, very natural preserved(and doesnt use botox, she used to for a while) There aren´t many actresses who can keep up with her skills... if anybody watched "dogville", "Moulin Rouge", "the hours & others and "eyes wide shut" knows what i mean. She deserves her roles and will get a nominations at the Oscars, you will see (jealous bitches)
Must see ! It's a wonderful perspective not only about Grace the actress but also the mother , princess especially the wife . A movie about sacrifice and how love changes the world making it a better place . The trailer isn't as good as should have been .
The music that starts at 1:21 is the same background music for the P&G thank you mom campaign. So now when I watch this trailer I won't be able to think straight without remembering that commercial. Haha
Sorry, but Nicole Kidman isn't youthful or regal enough for the role, and this is a prime example of why Hollywood needs new/no-name actors instead of constantly recycling.
Does anyone know the name of the piano piece that is used around 1:26 in this advert? It's such a beautiful piece and I would love to buy it if only I could find out what it's called!
I could be wrong but the music sounds like Ludovico Einaudi though I can't nail down a track name. Check out similar music by him. Fuori Dal Mondo - Ludovico Einaudi - Fuori dal mondo [Full HD] Dietro Casa - Dietro Casa
Hi, has anyone seen it? I was an extra and now curious to know if the market scene is in the movie (Nicole Kidman is wearing a yellow outfit - jacket and skirt).
nicole kidman doesn't look like her at all... and she is too old for the role. you'd think at least in a biopic where there is such a specific likeness to be cast for, a lesser-known actress with the right look might have a chance at an amazing break-out role... but no, it's gotta be a hollywood "star" :(
Well after the seeing the trailer it presents a dark interpretation of Monegasque history, which i must respectfully disagree with. Grace Kelly looked stunning in the film and the prince was a towering man but also does not look much like him than what was in the many photos taken of rainier and grace. They actually did quite a good effort of balancing family and royal responsibility. If folks would research they often took photos of family vacations of the Princely family. I will most likely will not watch this film.
They needed to filter the whole film to hide Nicole Kidman's wrinkles and the excessive layer of makeup. They also needed help from a big Hollywood visual effects studio to bring modern CGI effect expressions to Nicole's botox face. Lot of hats and angles was chosen to hide Nicole's fivehead.
This is rude! The filter was used to recreate a vintage style during the movie, cgi effect was used only to recreate certain locations, such as the old principality (without skyscarpers etc), and even if Nicole has a big forehead she wore a wig during all the movie, you should inform before speaking!
I like Nicole Kidman, but in this movie she is a total fail, she looks during the whole movie kind of pissed, emotionless and stone cold, not at all like the real lovely Grace Kelly was.
I think someone like Charlize theron would have been so much better for this role!Nicole kidman face is a little bit weird and unatural with all that botox!
Nicole Kidman looks absolutely perfect as Grace Kelly.
Truly a masterpiece.
1:20 track name is "Divenire" Music composed by Ludovico Einaudi.
Nicole looks amazing at 0:42. I think the casting was spot on. Nicole is a bit older than Grace was at the time but Grace aged quickly (while remaining stunningly beautiful) as a Princess.

Looks incredible! Can't wait! The perfect role for Kidman!
Oh, my god! We're so sorry to see you rolling over in your grave, Grace.
He role in The Paperboy was perfect
Sabrina, I hope so. Nicole Kidman is brilliant & beautiful.
"O Mio Babbino Caro" is the title of the opera aria that was used at the beginning of this trailer; it was sung by Maria Callas.
The description calls Grace Kelly "the 20th century's most iconic princess," but I think that tittle goes to Diana.
I agree, even though technically neither one of them were princesses. lol
Barbara Gordon

MsSteelphoenix i think she meant that as in Diana and Grace weren't born into royal families…?
MsSkrisel Diana wasn't a commoner.
January Jones is the only actress that should play her in future movies.
Wow!! Nicole Looks Incredible.
I can't believe I missed this movie , I never see it here in Vero Beach, so I am waiting for next month to buy it when it is coming in DVD. Nicole Kidman is a great actress and I believe she did an awesome job in this movie about Grace Kelly's life.
Her children are calling it out as a travesty. The critics hate it too…. I'm nervous to see it now. I think it will be good fiction; but nothing more.
This will be on Lifetime channel 5/25/2015 for Memorial day. ...The hard work that was put into this film...almost 2 years unnoticed....many say one Nicole Kidman's best works...
Looking forward to this. I'm a fan of both Tim and Nicole!

The background music is fantastic
i think shes great as grace.. similar face and she has grace as princess.. i have to admit that she has that wow factor even as queen
The song is: Ludovico Einaudi - "Divenire"
Smels like an Oscar nomination.
but not a victory
I adore both grace Kelly and Nicole Kidman, I can't wait to see this movie next week 5th June YAY
Grace Kelly was perfect.
Nicole Kidman is lovely, trailer is amazing cant wait for the film.
I love Nicole Kidman and I think this is a great role for her. Very excited to see this!
I missed the movie, so I am waitning to buy it next month when it is coming for sale. I like Nicole Kidman and Grace Kelly

Can't wait to see this! Looks like a great movie. Of course it is because it has Nicole Kidman!
What is the music at 1:30?
This seems great! I have to watch this :)
I was excited about the movie until I read the reviews. No one said anything good about it. Most critics said Kidman's acting was crappy and as was the script. Monaco's Royal family dissed it too because it wasn't biopic.
Best cast ever! :)
Wow, this is interesting and Nicole looks so pretty as usual.
Nicole looks AMAZING, not like a princess, like the Goddes! like 35

She's not getting an Oscar for this movie. Critics hated the storyline and her acting. Read the reviews.
I was right it is Ludovico Einauldi's 'Divenire'. Live version here --> Ludovico Einaudi - "Divenire" - Live @ Royal Albert Hall London
Must see ! It's a wonderful perspective not only about Grace the actress but also the mother , princess especially the wife . A movie about sacrifice and how love changes the world making it a better place . The trailer isn't as good as should have been .
Can somebody please explain why this movie has such bad reviews?
The music that starts at 1:21 is the same background music for the P&G thank you mom campaign. So now when I watch this trailer I won't be able to think straight without remembering that commercial. Haha
Divenire by Ludovico Einaudi

Love Nicole but having seen the Dior commercial with Theron, I think Theron is a better Grace Kelly look-a-like than Kidman.
Indian actor Uday chopra turns as a debut producer in this film with his production YRF entertainment .. wow

I could be wrong but the music sounds like Ludovico Einaudi though I can't nail down a track name. Check out similar music by him.
Fuori Dal Mondo - Ludovico Einaudi - Fuori dal mondo [Full HD]
Dietro Casa - Dietro Casa
Name of piano piece at @1:25
Why nicole kidman looks like 30 years old ? Jajaja
Hi, has anyone seen it? I was an extra and now curious to know if the market scene is in the movie (Nicole Kidman is wearing a yellow outfit - jacket and skirt).
Did they give credit to Ludovico who wrote Devenire for this movie?
Ah, Ludovico Einaudi... Brilliant pianist.
wow
Nicole rainha!
Oh Grace !! Tim Roth looked more handsome than the prince.
if someone can tell me the name of the song I will be grateful for life :)
nicole kidman doesn't look like her at all... and she is too old for the role. you'd think at least in a biopic where there is such a specific likeness to be cast for, a lesser-known actress with the right look might have a chance at an amazing break-out role... but no, it's gotta be a hollywood "star" :(
Saturday, 8 March - Where did she get those eyes?-

Grace Kelly / Nicole Kidman
I don't know about acting wise, but looks wise, I thought Charlize Theron would have been perfect!
Same font as Imagine Dragons?

A beautiful song like 'Divenire' is wasted on this nincompoop film!
Hmm.

Sorry but i can not see Grace Kelly in Nicole Kidman i just can't... i only see Nicole Kidman and this is so plain wrong...
Grace Kelly was american, why have they given her a british accent for this movie :S
Grace Kelly perfected a certain kind of accent when she was studying drama, and she always had this mix of an irish and british accent ;)
oh right haha :P

I like Nicole Kidman, but in this movie she is a total fail, she looks during the whole movie kind of pissed, emotionless and stone cold, not at all like the real lovely Grace Kelly was.

Sounds like an Irish accent.
