Me and my buddy became really good freinds to this day because we were the only ones who saw it😂. That and Ali G show made us die.
It took me so long and A LOT of research online about the film to finally understand that the main guy believes this is all real. I'm still not completely convinced btw.

A buddy and I watched this when it came out and loved it. We both waited forever for it to be played again. Once I found it on UA-cam I watched it a couple of times and then I got turned on to Perry and his live stream. Now I'm addicted to that.

Windy City Heat is one of the greatest comedies of all time. I hope so much that somebody makes a movie about Perry’s life. A Bio-picture about Perry’s Truman Show life would be amazing if done correctly. It may need to be done as a series on HBO because there is literally decades of material.

I met Don Barris years ago at the Comedy Store, he gave me a promotion card for the movie and never thought much about it after. I just recently watched the movie for the first time, funny af! My fav scene is when they have Perry blending up a bunch of different foods having to drink it... twice 😂
I was introduced to Windy City Heat in 2021. One of the few times I’ve laughed consistently from beginning to end in a movie, though I had difficulty wrapping my head around how Perry never quite caught on once that it was all a ruse. So a few months later I interviewed Dave Sheridan on a podcast, who plays Travis the Limo driver in the movie. And he straight up explained that Perry has brain damage, which removed my skepticism from that point onwards. Even though I still thoroughly enjoy the movie to this day, the whole Big 3 concept and a man with brain damage being the butt of an elaborate prank doesn’t sit well with me anymore. People try to justify this by saying Perry is not a good person at all. Anyway, that’s my two cents.

I only became aware of this great movie about a year ago and i have watched it 5 times already. The more you watch it the more you notice it is an incredible movie. The best longest funniest prank ever recorded thanks Jimmy.
I think this was the only move to ever have a director who was also a star in almost every scene in the movie.

Update: At the time of this comment, Perry and the rest of PCL's team (Tom, Jim, Garrett, Will, ect.) are movin PCL to UA-cam almost exclusively, as Twitch has, over the past year or two, gotten the show suspended numerous times on claims for little to no reason, and they're all tired of it.
They might be back on Twitch officially for other stuff, but for now, it'll only be on the Perry Caravello Live channel here on UA-cam.

I watched it the night it aired and it was the funniest thing I’d ever seen.
If it’s true that Comedy Central only aired it once, then I saw that shiz! Right when you could buy it on dvd, I bought that shiz! I was a teen and I showed it to all of my friends (not that many). I understood it and so did a bunch of high school dudes. Works of genius are often misunderstood and ahead of their time. No one is reacting to this movie. It’s ready,after all these years, to be released to a new generation of fans.

my funniest scene is towards the beginning where they're auditioning and they run into Carson Daly who just left his audition,
they asked him what he was doing there and he said that he was auditioning for the lead,
he said, "...yeah, they told me they hard narrowed down the part between and some guy named Fairy...",

I love Windy City Heat, but I also have suspected that it's not 100% real. I don't think they are lying, I just think Perry is sort of like a kid who knows hes cute and is constantly performing for adults bc they shower him with attention. I think Perry knows it's hilarious when he gets that high pitch voice, and he is kinda just going along with all this while not really caring that it's not 100% real. I think Perry knows a little more than he lets on.
It is 100% real dude. You must not watch his streams. Watch a few clips from the UA-cam channel “Send More Boats” and you’ll know it’s real.
@@mutatednut Well it's not 100% real, bc Jimmy even says here that Perry caught on that the shoot was too short bc he has been an extra on set before, so they had to tell him it was now turned into a prank show, and there's NO mention of that anywhere in the movie; they pretend like they're going to a movie premiere near the end of WCH, but if they had to change and tell Perry it was a prank show, how does that jive with the end scene where they go to the movie premiere?. Also, there are clips of Perry doing stand-up before the movie was shot doing a lot of the things he does in that movie; the high-pitch shrill yelling at people, etc. I'm saying Perry is putting that on a bit bc he knows it's funny, hence why he had it in his stand-up act long before WCH

He doesn’t understand he’s being fucked with. He still says things like “I made a cult classic film” and “I’m a celebrity”. You can tell him that the movie was all fake and he still wouldn’t understand. Start watching his streams and you’ll understand.
He can’t piece things together. There may be holes in what people tell him but he will just go with it and won’t catch on. People literally donate and say crazy shit with fake celebrity names on his streams and he thinks it’s the real celebrity sending the message. He thinks Gina carano and Scarlett Johansson are his girlfriends. He talks to fake celeb accounts on instagram and thinks they’re real. He even sent one his credit card info. The list goes on.

Also it is likely that they told him that AFTER the final scene. Just if you’re interested, go to the channel “Send More Boats” and watch some clips. Perry is something you gotta see to understand. I can assure you everything is 100% authentic with him and he doesn’t play anything up to be “funny”. You’ll know when he’s actually trying to be funny, cus it won’t be funny.

I absolutely loved that movie, but there's no way nobody broke even once while making that. He had to know.
He thought they were messing with him for "behind the scenes" footage, everything got explained away as just having fun behind the scenes and all it takes is a little convincing for Perry to believe what he wants to believe.

Listen man, I laughed my ass the whole movie.. The bat scene they talk about in this clip I literally rewinded and rewatched probably 200 times in my life dying laughing It’s hilarious.
