Loading Animation In Adobe Xd

- When the website or mobile app is loading, it's important to show the animation to the user and to let them know that something is going to happen after that animation ends. In this video we are going to create loading spinner animation in Adobe Xd, and with just a couple of clicks, create an interesting animation for your users to watch while the website or app is loading.

Is it possible to export it as a video clip ?
Yes, but you have to launch the prototype to record the video. Red dot on Mac, Win+G on PC.
This tutorial is great, But How to export loading animate to use as gif or my website?
For a GIF, record a video on a fully green background, then key the background out in Premiere or AE and export is as a gif. For code, re create it in AE, use Lottie for animation code generation, then integrate it into your website.
@@AlexOnDesign why not creating the animation in AE on the fist place? what's the utility of creating it in XD?
Because in Xd you can test it inside of the full UI, while in AE you are focusing on the animation itself only.
How to save the animation to the video format to watch is separately out of the XD?
Screen record directly from Xd, or use a separate tool like OBS.
Hy .this is aravind.actually i thought to do this for a website design..i have done this animation.but i am not able to connect this to home page or launch page.how to make this artboards go to other artboard.i am not able to link this with other normal artboards.pls help me regarding this
Hey there. Make sure to have the animation artboards same width as your artboards. So instead of 800x800, create them to be the same width as yours ( for example 1920x1080 ) and then connect the last animation artboard with your first artboard. Let me know if it works.
@@AlexOnDesign yes .animation worked .but i am asking how to link this animated video in such a way that this animation comes first and then it dissolves to home page of the website.making it look like loading is completed and taking to home page.
After the animation ends, link the last artboard to your first artboard. Just drag a blue handle and chose your for transition.

@@lorrainemulcahy5606 Make the animation artboards the same size as your other artboards. Then make the animation stop at some point, so it doesn't loop endlessly. Then link that last animation artboard to your first artboard and it will work, i tried it for multiple projects, it always worked for me.

Just use a plugin, there are a lot of them.

Not in Xd. You can open it in After Effects and export it from there.

I don't get it... what is the purpose of the back circle which u have reduced the Opacity to 0%. kindly let me know
So the front shape can rotate in circle. Otherwise it doesn't have a clear rotation path.

why in my XD can't found the trigger time sir ? can you help me ?
Update to the latest version and try again. Also, in some instances you can't use the time trigger like between states on the same artboard, if the first action is tap.

The animation is not working the same as in your video.
You didn't follow the steps closely. Try again, it does work.
Make sure you group the back spinner and have that group selected when you adjust the rotation. Made a mistake the first time as well. Hope this helps!
