I liked the views from munro no5 the best, and as for the mirror image off the loch, that's a sight I've only seen once before.we were driving to ardnamurchan,we went round a long corner and we could see ourselves in the minibus off of the reflection! it was a treat. thanks for the video. ken
Thanks Ken, Ive seen a few mirror images on lochs before. Sadly it is on one of they rare perfect days you get. In Scotland nothing can match days like that. Yeah you get great views from Lochnagar, Especially of the north Cairngorm plateau.
Munro #50 and hopefully many more to come. Congratulations, mate! Thank you for taking us all with you on your adventures on our glorious Scottish mountains. As always this was an absolute joy to watch, cheers Peter!
Keith Rudge Aye it was a trek alright, Longer than the Ring of Steall but no where near as hard. It is an amazing place to walk in, A total different world. Thanks keith.
Peter it`s always a pleasure to watch your vids mate I`m always amazed at the ground you cover and the views are spectacular, the Loch was just like a mirror, 50 munros that's an achievement mate, ATVB, George.
WakeyGeorge BusPassCamper. I was lucky to get the right conditions George, It was one of they rare days when the weather was perfect. Aye my 50th bagged(53 in total) the best thing about it is ive still got 229 to go! Cannae wait!!! LOL! Thanks for watching George, peter.
Nice to see the snow on top of the mountains :) Greetings from Ireland! :) I love taking some aerial footage and castles! :) Well done on your video! :) Thumbs up from me! :)
+Drone Girl Yes its always good to get a wee bit of snow now and again. Liking your vids, Only been to Ireland once in 2001 to see U2 at Slane Castle. Thought Navan was a beautiful wee village. Take care, peter.
***** Wow I have never seen them live :) and Navan is ok village ;) in the very green county Meath :) lol Have a lovely evening :) Peter :) Cheers !: )
@@S34NP4THURL Two reasons Sean it is a shorter walk back to the car park from the last Munro and i had already bagged Lochnagar as a single a few years earlier so if i didnt have time or was too knacked for it it would be no great loss. But you have to..............;)
No i havent. In fact i have not done much Munrobagging the past 2-3 years due to certain circumstances. However all is now settled down and i will be back to climbing the Munros this year :)
Congratulations Peter on bagging your 50th Munro and wow, what an epic 18mile walk to achieve it. That would have taken me about 18 hours to complete at my pace lol. Take care. Rich
Richard McGawley Thank you Richard really appreciated mate! After watching many of you and Jo`s expeditions i`m very much sure you two would canter this circuit no problem. Looking forward to more great Wainwright bagging vids, peter.
Yeah it's quite a straight forward if you follow my clock-wise route from the first Munro(Broad Cairn) the whole route is visible but in saying that a map is of course by rule of thumb . This is quite a busy and popular walk there should be quite a number of others about if you are unsure :)
Scots Wildcamper Thanks Eddie! Yeah it was great to get that wee milestone, Looking forward to reaching the century. Looking forward to seeing your Torridon vid should be a belter!!!
Hi Peter, great vid which I’ve watched a couple times now, planning to do this route same way clockwise this Sunday with Paul Agnew. Gonna go up sat night for an early start sun morn. Question is, can you camp at the car park area Peter.? ATB Frank.
Hey Frank how ye mate? Aye Paul said before he had these on the radar will be a great day out mate👍 Camping wise i would say next to the car park or a wee 5-10min walk from it. Two options i think that should be ok if you are walking the route clock wise as i done look @ 0:30 in the film see the wee wooden hut on the left i would see no problem camping there or close by. Another option is to walk down the path if you were walking the route counter clock wise @ 0:36 from memory there is hunners of room for a pitch right next to the tree's. But please bear in mind ive not been back up there in 4-5 years but i see no problem in you two finding a pitch plenty of open spaces Frank. Have safe trip you two, peter :)
@@MUNROSnCORBETTS cheers Peter, Paul’s kipping in his van but I’ll need a pitch. That’s good there’s plenty open space, I’ll try as close to car park as poss, thinking of an early start sun morn around 6am, so we can get home for a decent hour.👍 Cheers for quick response Frank.👍🏔🥾⛺️
@@hikingwithfrank315 No bother mate. Frank ye know im sure i saw some picnic tables laid out next to or near the car park maybe should be ok there. Frank it should be ok tent wise mate plenty of wee hidey spaces 😊
Great expedition again Peter - wow - and this early in the season! [stiff in the legs afterwards?] And what a magnificent weather! Glad to see you're at it again in earnest. You're on speed man, not to mention your pace at about 36:40: this way i'll have to work hard this may/june to keep ahead of you at this rate of baggin'! And say, no cramps, stumbles or adult language this time? Pity, because i came to love your footage for that too LOL! Suggestion: footage at 33:18 deserves a 'still' & enlargement on paper [tea on Lochnagar]. Btw for one reason or another, looking at this vid, now YT suggests me to have a look at "Lambs Navy Rum"?!?
Wilco de Jonge Thanks Wilco, No there was no stiff legs this time or colourful language either! A first for me i think. Have you bagged these ones Wilco? PS Lambs Navy Rum? hmmm........nah im lost there mate LOL! Thanks once again mate.
***** Not yet those 5 Peter ... 113 to go ... but in that wishlist of (282 minus 69) they do score high! By the way, last weekend i did find & climb a Dutch mountain. 't was at least some 60 mtrs :-)

Cheers Sean it's a good days walking that route once your up at Broad cairn the hard works over and it's easy-ish walking for the remaing 4 munros :)
MUNROSnCORBETTS I see, Peter, you did it in the opposite direction to the WalkHighlands route which takes in Lochnagar first. Your way looks great 👍
