    Adam Wade was the very first black game show host in television history, the game show was Musical Chairs!!

      He passed away Thursday July 7th. He truly was an entertainer.

    His singing voice reminds me of Johnny Mathis. I must say that this man sure took a rather unusual path to stardom. What a talented man he is.

      He passed away on Thursday ( July 7th ) I read an article where he said that he was actually trying to sound like Nat King Cole but just like you said people told him he sounded like Mathis.

      I remember watching Musical Chairs as a kid. I’m also blown away that he worked under Dr. Jonah Salk as a young scientist. A very brilliant brother that I should have known more about. Rest in heaven my brother.

      I'm not sure what you meant by that. However I knew coming to this video which man was the real Adam Wade (he was on my TV on the old game show Tattletales, and I decided to look him up), but I told myself that I would have more than likely chosen #3 because he looked like a crooner.
