LEGO should have approved it when it was up for consideration on LEGO Ideas, 1- 2020... They chose the Globe!
BTW, the designer is Bricky_Brick, same talented young man who gave us Pirates of Barracuda Bay.
On another note, I waited for the day to pick it up on Bricklink. Then early morning had to rush my kid to ER. By the evening when I had the emotional strength to check back on Bricklink, it was long gone (along with other sets I was planning to buy)
So, I really dislike this program. They'd better approve more LEGO Ideas projects - they are so amazing, I am always rooting for at least 5 more in each draw.

Thanks for reviewing. I suggest checking out the rode wireless go mic for improved audio.

Awesome review as always! I wish I was able to get this set! 😢 Is there any chance LEGO will rerelease it?

No. I ordered parts from Webrick, Lego, and from my own collection. Almost finished it. Last of the parts should be in by next week. Might be into it for about $350. Directions are online at Bricklink.

I don't like how this program actively encourages scalping. being able to buy this set and instantly put it up for sale with a 200$ markup is a joke. LEGO could easily sell 10 times as much by themselves but they rather use this to program to create artificial scarcity and FOMO.

Bricklink has revamped the AFOL Designer Program, based on feedback from this trial run. All sets which are produced will see larger production runs. However, scalping will always be an issue as long as they aren't sold on store shelves--which they won't, because these are fan designs, not officially redesigned sets, as LEGO Ideas sets are.

That’s one way of taking over your parents’ basement! Dude, there’s life outside Lego, trying getting some. Ok, I’m late to the game but there’s having a hobby and becoming insanely obsessive with something. There’s more Lego in this video than in Michael Jackson’s coffin and it’s too much, kind of put people off, it doesn’t look healthy
