I agree, she is amazing and she explains everything to in the detail, so you not only learn some words but also know why etc. But it would be much easier if everything would be written the same. Sometimes its: milenge, and sometimes its melein gay. Muhje or mujhay ...But Afrah is amazing!

    A few Corrections:
    1. "Joota" is singular "a shoe" for "a pair of shoes" its "jooton ka joura"
    2. "Dress" is also called "Joura"
    3. You can also say "Dhoondna" instead of "Talash kerna" as it more commonly used
    4. Also "Bhagna" and "Dorna" have similar meanings "to run" so they are often used interchangeably.(This one's actually not a correction but an additional information)

Azerbaijani is a Turkic language language whereas Urdu is a member of the Indo-Aryan branch of the Indo-European language family. Since both languages contain a lot of Persian and Arabic loanwords, many words may seem familiar. However, Urdu is unrelated to Azeri, but is related Punjabi and Hindi. It's distantly related to Persian. Azeri on the other hand is related to Turkish, Kazakh and the like.

You can find actual Muslim Urdu in poetry and literature of the past history. Non Muslim compare this Urdu from Quran and from the Persian Kingdom heritage. It would be good, if Gurba kushtam roze awwal, haha... Thank you.

There is some pronunciation different between them, like in urdu its "Zindabad" it means long live, while in hindi it's mostly pronounced "jindabad". Urdu also uses more Farsi and arabic words while Hindi uses more sanskrit words, like for saying thanks in urdu we say 'Shukriya' but in hindi its 'Dhanyavad' there are many examples but in a normal conversation between both Hindi and an urdu speaker, both can understand each other almost perfectly, but if you want to speak literally urdu and hindi (pure) then the difference between both is huge and understanding each other is very difficult...

I don't know, but from what I was explained is back in the days the slaves used to call their masters Khuda too. So thereby people use Allah instead of Khuda.
