I used to be scared everytime someone said the only rapture is after the tribulation but now...I guess because I have matured in Jesus..it doesn't scare me now. I know without a doubt we won't go through it. Also, satan can no longer make me question my salvation. Now I have the freedom to work on my crowns to give Jesus. I also want to say that I love to hear this pastor....very comforting voice. I need to hear the cold hard truth of the Word but I don't need it screamed at me....so I just want to say God bless you Pastor F.
You explained the pre-trib rapture really good. Just wish my elderly friends would open their minds to this truth. They are closed minded right now, but Jesus knows how to set them right. Yes, you are absolutely correct about that. We both know many today will tell you they believe in God, but they have never accepted Jesus as savior. Just recently my husband was witnessing to tow men, one was eager to get saved, they other told him he believes in God but he won't hear about Jesus. He was actually angry at the mention of Jesus. The word "Christian" is a loose term these days, many say they are, and don't even know what that means. Many don't believe the Word is true...

This series has brought back the joy of my salvation! A salvation I received forty years ago. I and my family are ready for the rapture, but I have this nagging fear from having listened to others, that the church may still have to suffer persecution before the rapture, hance, the FEMA camps. I'd like to know we'd escape these too, ..who are the camps for?

@GalOnHunt As long as it's a career in Heaven, I tell ya. There are all these booths at the beginning of each semester for clubs, sororities/fraternities, and what have you, but I guess you see the same thing at your university (I go to California State University), and there were 3 different Christian organizations that sparked my interest. In fact, one lady from Campus Crusade for Christ called me yesterday because I'd left my info and she treated me to lunch today. It was such a blessing!
i guess my point is those that get left behind will have one last chance to accept Jesus, they are those that never called on Jesus and/or those that claim to know him but did not truly repent and if they don't repent and.or call on Jesus during the trib then they will go to hell and those that claimed to know him but did not truly repent even in the trib Matt 7:22 will be said to them on that last day
its also telling that Revelation wasn't written when Paul was talking about the last trump so the only trump they would have known was feast of trumpets trump.
I wonder too if we will hear the trumpet, the non believers should not hear it because it is not for them, they will believe the alien lie. But the sleepy Christians will realize when they hear of the over turned graves, praise God.

In Matthew 24 Jesus is talking to the Jewish people, as you will note the disciples are Jewish. Matthew 24:15 Jesus said when they see the abomination of desolation which is specific to the Jews in tribulation. Who will flee to the mountains? The Jews will, they will be hiding for the second 3.5 years, see Rev 12:6
So what do we do with Matthew 24, When Yahushua himself said immediately following the tribulation you would see him coming in the clouds in all his glory? And 2 thess 2: 8-9 When Paul said that Christ will return after the signs and wonders and lying works of satan? God bless.
Matthew 24 is the Second Coming. The Rapture and the Second Coming are two separate events. The world will not see Him during the Rapture, the whole world will see Him at the Second Coming. In Matthew 24:15, He was talking to the Jews specifically and yes they will endure tribulation. He told them they will flee from Judea and He tells them to pray their flight is not on the Sabbath. That is talking to the Jews in Israel, in Israel even elevators are not allowed to be used on the Sabbath.
There is the time of tezting of all the saints yet , as those that return with the lord in verse 20 are those that die during the testing that do not take the mark of the beast and stand till the end. They have made their robes white and do not go through the jugement.
