I did about 30 countries on the NC750X in Europe and Central Asia (Africa is next). I tested it in so many conditions. Two up, fully loaded, some serious off-road, bad roads, bad gas quality, many drops, all kind of weather (from snow -5C to desert +40C). How many issues did I have? ZERO!!! Thanks for the proper review 👍 I always love to hear your opinion because I consider it to be honest/most unbiased.
@GeoAlex I watch your videos, and your travels with the NC750X have inspired me. You and Pavlin have the same positive attitude: just hit the road and enjoy the trip!

Owned a 2014 NC750X which I bought new and put 50,000KM on it. It's reliable, easy to service, no engine heat, excellent for hot weather riding, and it's an indestructible work horse. Excellent for commuting and long rides. Also, it's quite powerful. If you're thinking to buy one, go for it. My only regret is that I sold mine.
2013. I had bmw gs. For one year. And sold it (had accident). 2014. I bought NC750x. Was very worry regarding engine power... but... this bike is incredible! Till now I have 30,000km. Just regular service and go! On highway, the cruising speed is 130-140kph (4-5 thousand rpm) with touring screen and givi wind deflector. No issue (I’m 186). Light off road is very easy with proper tires. Lovely bike. My longest trip was 960km in one day. And second day 760km.. This bike is more comfortable than bmw gs! Don’t forget: Honda engineers cut half of Honda jazz engine and assemble into this bike. This engine can run more than 300,000km! Thank you Pavlin and Best regards to all of you guys from around the world ❤️🏁
You can look up the design information for the NC series of engines on Honda’s website and no mention of Jazz engines is made. The engine was designed for motorcycles from the start.
I’ve had a NC750X dct since 2014, have used it for daily commutes and for holiday road trips (Alps, South of France mainly) alone and with my wife. It’s a fantastic ride: easy, reliable, pleasant, practical, economical (4 liters per 100km, really!)... I wouldn’t recommend the manual version as the DCT really helps make up for the limited power (you don’t need a huge engine when the transmission automatically sets you on the right gear and torque). I’ve been considering upgrading to an Africa Twin for a while but can’t seem to convince myself to part from this great motorcycle and possibly lose all that I love about it.
Hi, I can only confirm all good about the motorcycle. I had the bike for three years (2015 model) and rode almost 50000 km on it. Very good for long distance travelling (except more bent legs due to high foot pags possition). A real fuel consumption really impessed me was, overal average was 3.3 L/100 km (one person riding). I can highly recommend this bike for beginners, comuters, travelers but also as universal machine for every day use (but not for an off-road). Maybe it is more hard worker than a bike. ... forgot to mention, no issues within 50000 km :-)
the honda inter-company collaboration took place between car and motorcycle divisions for the first time in the company history, to come up with this motorcycle i was told. that’s why this vehicle has revolutionarily low rpm maxing engine. hence the great mileage but more importantly it contributes to a car like engine life expectancy. with a max performance at 4000rpm, it’s completely possible. making this motorcycle that can truly competes with a car in cost per value category for the first time. honda should be more vocal about their achievements.
I am on a second NC750. First was a naked 700 (S) and now i have the 2017 750 x dct, exactly like the one you review. I love this bike so much, i always ride 2 up with paniers and top box fully loaded, all around Europe.
Bought the white version 2019 750x DCT version and this is how my fueling works. Its now 4 months old and I have just over 13 000km on it. I have everything on the app named Fuelly but after emailing them twice now saying that my KTM is showing up but not my NC (also no Honda NC from 2018 onwards are listed at all so I assume its a server / DB issue they have) is showing up so everything can be viewed. Anyway, my daily commute is from Strand to Cape Town city center which is 52km one way. About 5km in total for the ride is city driving and the rest is freeway. But I hit serious traffic each day in each direction for about 20km where I lane split (20-70kmh depending but this is for the ±20km or so) the rest is then freeway. So if I ride on the freeway at 120kmh ave when possible the fuel consumption for the tank is ±4,2L/100km. When doing 100kmh as a max speed when possible I get 3,3L/100km. For 2 tanks (after I did ±5000km) I decided to ride it hard just to see: 4,7L/100km keeping around 175kmh when safe but always hard acceleration and braking in Sport mode 2. I found riding it that hard makes of an aggressive person with a short temper off the bike (as an observation) Reserve comes on around 320-340km per trip when ave is 3,3. I also only use the Drive mode except every now and then while in town. Fuelly account is 574SharkBait574 but the NC is not showing online although data sync on the app is successful.
Thank you for the Review !!! "It made my heart sing !" (like the song says). In addition, a would like to add that, on my NC 750 X (2019), the storage space and the fuel tank cover can be opened just by switching the key, without using both hands. Greetings from the neighbourhood (from Romania!).
I'm using one to commute in Bangkok. Your review is spot on. Even in the crazy traffic in Bangkok, you can manoeuvre this easily, it carries its weight well. I do miss the acceleration and excitement of my Tracer GT (a brilliant machine, but I digress), but if you use it for commuting or touring, this is perfect.
I enjoyed riding that bike in Gran Canaria it was great fun and powerful enough. I did struggle for a start running out of revs as I'm used to a 12,000 RPM red line and the NC red lines at about 6,500 RPM. Soon adjusted to this and enjoyed the bike and especially enjoyed riding with Canary Motorcycle Tours. Great review
This a good bike for beginners and advanced, I highly recommend this bike. For advanced users I recommend to reflash the ECU to remove limitations and if you stay in the mountain area, change the gearing (-1 on front; + 2 on back). My bike is 2017 model and I already done 45000 km. Also, I go on track regulary (i know is not a bike for track, but I have so much fun) and is very stable motocycle. Downside (depends on the riding style) - is to heavy (225 kg ffs) - weak brakes on front wheel - suspension can’t be turned PS: in 2 year and 45000 not even a single problem...keep in mind, my riding style is very sporty...just in this summer I change 3 tire sets
Im the proud owner of the 2015 model. Awesome bike. i use it on a daily basis, and also for fun and travelling. Hard as a rock, easy to perform the maintenance. On mine, after almost 4 years of use, ive manage to do 3,3l/100km with luggage (and also @110kg rider :P). The only bad thing about this bike, from my perspective, is the ergonomics. For a 1,85 in medium/long trips/daily use has a toll on my body (even with a 2,5inch handlebar raiser), but this is something that happened to me on every bike on this segment (this one resulted the most confortable one, for me). On the mechanical overwiew im almost agree on everything (the traction control is something unecessary on this bike) . Nice review. I hope the manufacturers start thinking a little bit more on the ergonomics and comfort instead of adding that much useless electronic craps.
Best bike I ever had. I have a 2016, the dct version, I averaged 3.1L/100km over the last 6000km... for tall riders (192cm), knight design sells lowered footpegs.
Just watched your video, very well done. I thought you guys did a great job with your review of this motorcycle. I am buying one in the next week or two, I've already got my paperwork in to the dealer. I am in Canada and as a Honda employee (retiree, actually), one of our benefits is that we get anything Honda makes at dealer cost. Looking forward to getting this bike. Cheers!
its not only affordable but even better than affordable when is used...i paid 4250 euro for 2015 nc750x manual and it is still amazing....it has 40.000 km but it feels like new....
With this bike you can do anything you want and can do and it is very cheap on everything service and petrol. I don't have this bike myself but I know allot of people that have it
Hi Pavlin, i guess the NC 750 has absolutely everything you need. More is not necessary. For experienced rider like you or Martin, it is absolutely not important, whether the fueltank is beneath the seat or at the traditionell place. A good rider will manage it well with every kind of bike. Best regards to Martin. Ride safe, Hans
Great and very proffesional review...verx simple explained and no metter it is not your type of bike you said a lot of positive things about it.Greetings from Croatia
Have the same one in Red 2020. Decided for Honda NC 750 X because it feels so good and easy to Ride the bike. Tested the Kawasaki Versys 650 and the Suzuki V-Strom 650 great Bikes but for me as a beginner i was feeling better on the Honda. 👍
Thanks for the review. As I post this my wife and I are moving back to US from Panama on our bikes ( hers Vstrom 650 '09, mine an '03 Kawa ZG1200). It's a move so overloaded, but trying to enjoy the trip. Hoping to travel more in Asia, South America, and Europe in a year or so. Enjoying your reviews as I will need a different bike. I hope to catch up on your trip to the Indian continent soon. Happy travels!
I have this motorcycle, it is a great one if you are ok with many of the things they mention on the video. I live in Mexico and let me tell you that the roads here are not the best ones, and the price of gas is high ( $1.10 dollar per litter), so if you want to ride 120 - 130 km, 85 % highway 15 % dirt, 10 litters = 320 kms. Service once a year, oil twice a year, always ready, reliable. Seat is kind of bad, by the way, what brand is the seat you bought? I'd like to see if I can get it here. Guys if you want a BMW, a Multistrada or KTM buy one, take it anywhere, go fast, ride the adventure, but this motorcycle is for the people who don't have or don't want to spend all that money and need a reliable, economical and good motorcycle. Not for anyone. Be safe.
You were keep saying that "weight always matters", and I agree. Do you know the weight of that bike? Just check it! Even if its low centered I think its too much and Honda is giving you only a single disc which can be dangerous on long hill downs.
I will also be curious to hear what you have to say about the VStrom 650. Your past videos on the bike were somewhat lukewarm about it. Curious how you feel it behaved on the Gran Canaria roads.
Was thinking about one of these but just found a local dealer has a new 2019 Yamaha Tracer on sale for $8800 so now I'm thinking of going to the Tracer.
Noone of you said that it is very low rpm engine motorbike. This is the reason why it is a world champion low fuel consumption motorbike. Very, very economical engine. Consequence of that is that it has cut-off at 6500 rpm, very unusual. So it is very unusual gear shift. In consequence the best solution for that is to have DCT version to avoid often gear changes. It is a perfect bike to the city and around because of it's construction and trunk instead of fuel tank.
@@mwosekisaila the 500x is lighter than the NC, so even though it has a bit less power the power to weight ratio is practically the same. Shocks are a bit soft but nothing serious, both bikes are made for the road. Also, one good point is the seat height is lower than the NC, so it's easier to ride if you are less tall. Fuel tank is bigger than the NC as well. Since it has a conventional gas tank, it doesn't have the extra space in the front like the NC which is useful for the city. However for longer rides you will need the extra cases anyway, so it's not a big deal. It's also cheaper than the NC. The looks of the bike is entirely up to you, the NC looks more of a bigger bike in the middle section, but it doesn't matter much.
Nice bike but gas filler under seat a hassle if you're carrying a strapped down pack, tent, sleeping bag, etc. Why not filler access on the side or to rear?
Hi Pavlin, I'm from Canada and I really enjoy your videos. Thanks for the very enjoyable, informative and no bullshit videos. Just wondering what brand/style of jacket and pants you use. Thanks
Fantastic review. Best I've seen so far. In South Africa the 2015, 2016 bikes are priced very attractively. how much difference does the traction control setting make and is it worth spending extra the money? Also I am in the market for the dct
It’s can’t really be half a Honda Jazz engine as it doesn’t have iVTEC. You have to go the a VFR if you want that. This bike replaced the Honda Deauville as Honda’s mid range bullet proof bike. They emphasised the fuel efficiency and of course the low cost, which was about £5,000 when it came out. TMF did a tour in the Canaries which demonstrated (one of his biker friends) how two up is ok on this bike....
Great review Pavlin, how would it perform upside down in a ditch? sorry mate. It's just that your Yamaha seems to have taken a lot and is still going strong. I bought an Africa Twin but did wonder if this bike would have been enough. Having said that, I do love the AT. Cheers, Ray
When showing the ergos, would be nice to put your leg in the riding position and telling us your inseam. I have an issue personally finding a bike that is comfortable for long legs.
Great video as usual! 👍 I went to try it last week and I was surprised: due to the low down torque , I felt I was riding a single cylinder ( I mean it positively ) since the two cylinders feels “empty” to me. I had Aprilia pegaso and VStrom, and, even though the Strom was more performing, I felt it empty compared to the single cylinder Pegaso. the best would be high torque and high revs of course (like my old GSXR 1100)...But too heavy and sporty for daily use. That’s to say, I was impressed by the NC750x. The bike felt also so light despite the 230kg it carries. The only problem was the horrible windshield , the noise from the wind was soooo loud!!! Otherwise, nice bike! I’m thinking of getting one (but with manual gear). The other choice would be the Vstrom (to which, anyway) I would change the windshield due to its buffeting problems.. is there any bike (beside the costly GS1200) that has good wind protection?? Any suggestions?
Great review, love the look of this bike. Maybe put some more aggressive tire on it and it'll do some light off roading. Oh by the way what location are your at ? That coast line at the end of the video is just beautiful. Thanks
Thanks Pavlin for nice review as always.. I watched a lot of yours videos.. and find out/learned so much of that.. So, you made test ride for NC750x and Tracer 700 (my no 1 choice) .. which one is more appropriate for tall riders..? I'm 187cm / 80+kg and it does not seeam to exist bike from that category light/middle weight sport touring for 'us'..?
Traded goldwing which paid for FJR, traded FJR which paid for this. I wanted the DCT but now I wouldn't trade back up, it does it all with lighter weight and 68mpg us, and the frunk is used every time.
@@motorcycleadventures good review, thank you, good points on price sweet spot right now and also how the 'weak' engine cruises at good highway speeds at low rpm.
Coming from a 2013 V-Strom 650 on which I did about 27,000Km from new, I want a CVT or DCT bike to reduce hand and wrist pain I get from a manual clutch. The Strom is, in my opinion, exceptionally pleasing in almost every regard. Sadly, like a proper idiot, I swapped it for a new Yamaha T-Max 530 DX scooter a year ago, but I am wholly disappointed with the T-Max, and I have not done more than 900 kilometres in the last year. Looks like this will be my next bike and therefore probably my last petrol-powered bike. I reckon 10 years from now electric bikes will equal ICE bikes and then some.... but not today. By-the-way (not connected to the Honda)... In all regards except the following two, the T-Max is a great bike, but I cannot forgive its major failings. It is far, far too noisy. It sounds, until about 80KPH like a broken washing machine powered by a poorly maintained two stroke engine. Horrible, whining, buzzing, droning sound. It has poor fuel economy, but that's due to the CVT transmission (21KPL). On balance, though, it almost rides itself - it is that easy to ride. Almost no negative effects on handling with a passenger. Comfortable and great wind screen (electric). It has (perhaps as it is still new) no CVT vibration when pulling away or slowing then re-accelerating. Why swap it then? That f^^^ing noise.
i bet you get those kind of questions all the time but i'm gonna ask it anyway. i am considering buying either Honda NC750 or Suzuki DL or Yamaha XT660Z. Which one would you buy considering that you would not go off-road or would go very rarely max 5% and it would be light tarmac rather than heavy off road. I guess that eliminates XT660Z already so let's get that out of the equasion. DL or NC? First bike, new rider. Thanks !
Hi there. Whic seat type-model you ectually choosed? I saw few options on french aftermarket web site. I plan to buy this model but stock seat is not thar comfortable.
Will bike start building for tall riders... the 2021 even lowered the seat height. Trying to find a new commuter bike and being 6'7 my choices are so limited.
Like the videos. I have a question tho, do you think it will suit me properly being 192 cm in height? Getting a bigger windscreen is a must, obviously, but overall? I need it for longer rides, but can't really afford the BMWs or any newish 1liter bikes. Thanks.
I am 189cm and 120kg. I am looking dct version that bike,v strom 650xt of 2008 bmw f 800gs. I m planing on riding most of the city riding and maybe short europe trips. I had before various motorcycles,v strom 1000 also and never again. That kind of machines are only long distance oriented. What is your recommendation? Thanks man!
may i know nc750 ,xt660, dl650 and versys 650 which one is your choice . i know xt 660 is your bike and so please chose 1 in 3 and why you chose . i am looking for recommandation for my new adventure bike
Hello, from a fellow bulgarian! For this summer I am planning to visit Gran Canaria anyway, so why not with this motorcycle! I am beginner tho, I got my driving's license this year, so do you recommend this bike for a beginner like me? I have some previous experience on a mountain bikes and scooters. Thank you!
Здравей Християн, моето мнение е да изчакаш поне година. Пътищата на острова определено не са за начинаещ. Всяка година по 5 - 6 човека и то местни загиват по завоите.
Great bike but for 2 reasons I would not get it one gas tank to small and 2 you have to lift the back seat to get at the gas tank to fill it, this could be a problem if you are fully loaded and have to unload the back seat to fill up. If they would make it so you could fill the gas with out removing the back seat and put a larger gas tank on it, it would be on my list. Even the CB500X has a larger gas tank and you can get 500 Km per talk on it. If going long distance do not want to be looking for gas stations.
Nice video! Please, between versys 650 or NC 750x for a tall guy (1,96 m) using mainly in the city and short road trips, what do you think is the best one? Thank you.
@@motorcycleadventures Thanks! I've tried some motorbikes and finally bought a Triumph Tiger 800 XCX 2020 (This model is still sold here in Brazil and honestly I prefer the look and the engine sound and smoothness of the Tiger 800 over the new 900).
I have just one question - will this bike handle the trans Siberian highway? I have a 700X and I'm planning an RTW around the northern hemisphere, paved roads only (when possible). Will it handle Siberia?
80miles/gal? Real? ..But miserable tank... Have you ever see, or hear about additional tank in trunk? (I'm just hate allways looking for the gas station, wanna refuel once per day.) And what can you say about rear spring? I heard - it's too soft for the ride with passenger or/and luggage.
I own the cb500x and have noticed that lateral wind is a bit of a problem. Since you've ridden both, did you notice any significant improvement in the 750x?

Do rental outfits avoid the DCT model of the NC750X? I know it costs a little more, but I don't know if the additional complexity causes issues with reliability.
Yes, as Martin explained to me, it takes a day or two to learn how to ride properly the DST. Most of the clients don't have it. Not understanding and knowing how to use it could cause some serious mechanical problems or accidents. That's why they prefer the manual gear shift.
DCT should be easy to drive like a scooter, so what is that mean "to learn how to ride properly the DCT"? What kind of mechanical problems can someone make to DCT and how?
It is easy if you ever rode scooters. I never did it before and for me was very strange in first hour. I completely agree that you need time to adjust yourself to the none clutch and gear shift mode. You can easily damage the gear box if you don't know how to use it. The DCT is made to prevent mistakes, but it is made and tested from professionals. Normal people are sometimes very stupid and make absolutely illogical things, like to try 1st gear with high speed, or pull parking brake before they stop. Also, not having gears on the corners or not using properly the automatic shiftier could finish with accident.
DCT gearbox is very reliable. There was a problem with the shift pin around 60k miles many years ago but this was fixed. Rental outfits just don’t want to pay the extra for the DCT. DCT will not cause problems on corners even in the wet because it shifts smoothly unlike humans.

The Kawasaki Versys 650 only has two quarts of oil in the sump, the Honda NC a gallon....go figure. Given equal maintenance and equal wear and tear the Honda motor can and will last 200 thousand km with ease. The Versys will last you half of that.

@GeoAlex I watch your videos, and your travels with the NC750X have inspired me. You and Pavlin have the same positive attitude: just hit the road and enjoy the trip!
On your travels did you find the fuel economy was realistically so frugal (can it really regularly achieve 3.5l/100km? 400km to a tank of fuel) ?
KK Foto thanks:) I’m happy to hear that.

Its not a half Jazz engine. Its a misconception many people have!
Marko Ristic hi. Could you post here the link of the windscreen and the deflectors please
paul chalaris it is half of the regular engine of the car.
You can look up the design information for the NC series of engines on Honda’s website and no mention of Jazz engines is made. The engine was designed for motorcycles from the start.

I found riding it that hard makes of an aggressive person with a short temper off the bike (as an observation)
Reserve comes on around 320-340km per trip when ave is 3,3.
I had a suzuki v-strom pretty identical to that one in the background, somebody stole it :( it had 182.000 km and counting. Very nice bike
That's so sad to hear. Hope you get it back soon.
Thank you!
Downside (depends on the riding style)
- is to heavy (225 kg ffs)
- weak brakes on front wheel
- suspension can’t be turned
PS: in 2 year and 45000 not even a single problem...keep in mind, my riding style is very sporty...just in this summer I change 3 tire sets
How i can remove the limitation ?
Thanks for adding this info Juan!
Get a higher seat. 2 cm maks a big difference!
i`m 200cm and planning to get this bike. It`s not as if there are that many options out there for me..
Update: really happy with my 2012 VFR 800x ! LOVE IT
Awesome review. I would never buy a bike without first seeing your review of it first. Cheers from Seattle!
Thanks man!
Best bike I ever had. I have a 2016, the dct version, I averaged 3.1L/100km over the last 6000km... for tall riders (192cm), knight design sells lowered footpegs.
Thank you for the review ! As a told you earlier this week, I plan it to be the successor of my BMW F650.
You are welcome anytime!
Road my Honda NC700X Cross the United States back and forth and ZERO issues. The NC’s are truly reliable bikes.
Agree
This will be my next bike. I'm waiting for the next generation because hopefully it will get some nice updates like the CB500X got.
Smart!
Cheers!
Our pleasure!
its not only affordable but even better than affordable when is used...i paid 4250 euro for 2015 nc750x manual and it is still amazing....it has 40.000 km but it feels like new....
With this bike you can do anything you want and can do and it is very cheap on everything service and petrol. I don't have this bike myself but I know allot of people that have it
Agree
Hi Pavlin, i guess the NC 750 has absolutely everything you need. More is not necessary. For experienced rider like you or Martin, it is absolutely not important, whether the fueltank is beneath the seat or at the traditionell place. A good rider will manage it well with every kind of bike. Best regards to Martin. Ride safe, Hans
Thanks for watching and commenting again Hans!
Супер си Павка! Много ми харесват клипчетата ти. Обективни и полезни.
Мерси Борис!
I agree. This is a brilliant bike for the money. I own one and it is a great all rounder!! I just got back from a weekend 800km ride, it was perfect!

Nice 👍
Thanks for the review. As I post this my wife and I are moving back to US from Panama on our bikes ( hers Vstrom 650 '09, mine an '03 Kawa ZG1200). It's a move so overloaded, but trying to enjoy the trip. Hoping to travel more in Asia, South America, and Europe in a year or so. Enjoying your reviews as I will need a different bike. I hope to catch up on your trip to the Indian continent soon. Happy travels!
Thanks Kenneth! The same for you!
Be safe.
Agree! About the seat ask Martin, link in the description.
Lol $1.10 litre in UK we are stuffed with £1.30 a litre = to about $1.70 or so!
@@collectorguy4379 big wage difference.
You were keep saying that "weight always matters", and I agree. Do you know the weight of that bike? Just check it! Even if its low centered I think its too much and Honda is giving you only a single disc which can be dangerous on long hill downs.
I never said that this motorcycle is perfect.
@@motorcycleadventures My intention was not criticize you, I am just surprised you to never mentioning it, as you did almost always before ))
I will also be curious to hear what you have to say about the VStrom 650. Your past videos on the bike were somewhat lukewarm about it. Curious how you feel it behaved on the Gran Canaria roads.
Detailed video review is coming on Tuesday. I like it!
Was thinking about one of these but just found a local dealer has a new 2019 Yamaha Tracer on sale for $8800 so now I'm thinking of going to the Tracer.
Whatever suits you!
Excited to get my NC750x this weekend!
Enjoy it!
I said it at least twice.
Can you please review 2019 Honda CB500X
Thank you.....i wanted to ask the same question......
Canary Motorcyle Tours rock. Great people. Good fun. Great service.
Absolutely!
Fuel tank position a minus for me.Must unstrap my soft luggage each time I refuel
True
they should have placed the fuel filler outside like the F800GS
I have to remove my tank bag for refuelling anyway, on my bike with conventional tank placement.
You are right. I didn't buy one exactly for this reason!
True. But at least you can easily go over 300 km with one tank. Almost 400 in crusing mode.
Nice bike but gas filler under seat a hassle if you're carrying a strapped down pack, tent, sleeping bag, etc. Why not filler access on the side or to rear?
True
At least you don’t have to fill it as often as other bikes. 200 mile range.
I'm considering routing the filler so the seat doesn't have to be raised.
Hi Pavlin, I'm from Canada and I really enjoy your videos. Thanks for the very enjoyable, informative and no bullshit videos. Just wondering what brand/style of jacket and pants you use. Thanks
Thanks man! I have Rev'it Poseidon.
@@motorcycleadventures I'll second that ,great reviews I'll be test driving one soon .
Fantastic review. Best I've seen so far. In South Africa the 2015, 2016 bikes are priced very attractively. how much difference does the traction control setting make and is it worth spending extra the money? Also I am in the market for the dct
Well... being an old school guy I cannot say much about the TC, but definitely could save your life in a curtain situations.
I am sure that two up is okay.
Japanese machines are perfect. Very nice and helpful video my friend 👍
Agree about the Japanese quality! Thanks for watching!
Great review Pavlin, how would it perform upside down in a ditch? sorry mate. It's just that your Yamaha seems to have taken a lot and is still going strong. I bought an Africa Twin but did wonder if this bike would have been enough. Having said that, I do love the AT. Cheers, Ray
The choice is always yours!
When showing the ergos, would be nice to put your leg in the riding position and telling us your inseam. I have an issue personally finding a bike that is comfortable for long legs.
Ok
Great video as usual! 👍
I went to try it last week and I was surprised: due to the low down torque , I felt I was riding a single cylinder ( I mean it positively ) since the two cylinders feels “empty” to me.
Omar Piane UK NC700 forum users recommend the MRA vario screen which has an adjustable airfoil at the top to deflect wind.
Steve Bolton thank you !
Great review, love the look of this bike. Maybe put some more aggressive tire on it and it'll do some light off roading.
Oh by the way what location are your at ? That coast line at the end of the video is just beautiful.
Thanks
The video was filmed in Gran Canary.
@@motorcycleadventures Just stunning
Sir,since I prefer normal clutch fo you find it challenging since there are shorter distances among the gears or is it acceptable? Have a great day...
Both are not very comfortable for tall riders
I own a NC750X 2016. I am 186 cm and 100 kg - the bike is ok for me, but only just. Very similar to V-Strom 650.

My pleasure!
That f^^^ing noise.
had xmax 300 for a month and sold it because surprisingly it was too loud with stock exhaust when riding above 30mph
Nice review sir.. How about the throttle response in all rev range? Is it accurate and smooth?
Hahaha... as always, the best part of the windscreen is the sticker. Lol... hahaha. Honda always exist as the credible competitor.

Love that colour, great video dude, love your content🍻👍🇨🇦
i like the chestchamber where you can fit in a lot. very practical. too bad they dont have an nc500.
Good!
i bet you get those kind of questions all the time but i'm gonna ask it anyway. i am considering buying either Honda NC750 or Suzuki DL or Yamaha XT660Z. Which one would you buy considering that you would not go off-road or would go very rarely max 5% and it would be light tarmac rather than heavy off road. I guess that eliminates XT660Z already so let's get that out of the equasion. DL or NC? First bike, new rider. Thanks !
Both are great bikes. Depends on your height and personal preferences.
Hi there. Whic seat type-model you ectually choosed? I saw few options on french aftermarket web site. I plan to buy this model but stock seat is not thar comfortable.
Great review!

Will bike start building for tall riders... the 2021 even lowered the seat height. Trying to find a new commuter bike and being 6'7 my choices are so limited.
Not sutable for tall riders.
Yep the easiest bike to own and ride, hassle free, great commuter, great tourer and ok on gravel etc.

Like the videos. I have a question tho, do you think it will suit me properly being 192 cm in height? Getting a bigger windscreen is a must, obviously, but overall? I need it for longer rides, but can't really afford the BMWs or any newish 1liter bikes. Thanks.
I don't think that it will be for you, but you can try it.

Hello,
Found your videos randomly, and i quite like your way to think ! Will talk about the cb500x ?
ua-cam.com/video/vhj9EguJ6cI/v-deo.html
@@motorcycleadventures i meant the 2019 model with 19" front wheel, but i'll take time to watch this video :) thanks
Everybody like different thing...
Just wondering could front wheel and front fork be upgraded on this for better off the road ability?
Nice video! Please, between versys 650 or NC 750x for a tall guy (1,96 m) using mainly in the city and short road trips, what do you think is the best one? Thank you.
In my opinion the Versus will be better for your size but the best way to know fo sure is to try them both and decide after that.

Thanks! I've tried some motorbikes and finally bought a Triumph Tiger 800 XCX 2020 (This model is still sold here in Brazil and honestly I prefer the look and the engine sound and smoothness of the Tiger 800 over the new 900).
A downsized Africa Twin with this engine would be just perfect. For me.

I often wish my NC700X had the AT's engine
I have just one question - will this bike handle the trans Siberian highway? I have a 700X and I'm planning an RTW around the northern hemisphere, paved roads only (when possible). Will it handle Siberia?
Yes, it will.
what criteria is used to determine to which market a motorcycle belongs to?
Mine!
The tank is enough for the purpose the bike is build.
I own the cb500x and have noticed that lateral wind is a bit of a problem. Since you've ridden both, did you notice any significant improvement in the 750x?
No, but I am to tall for this bike.
It's true you weigh a bit more, but i was surprised to feel quite a bit of a "push" with my 500

I have a 2016 dct. Just love it.
@@motorcycleadventures Thank you for the explanation, i appreciate it.
DCT gearbox is very reliable. There was a problem with the shift pin around 60k miles many years ago but this was fixed. Rental outfits just don’t want to pay the extra for the DCT. DCT will not cause problems on corners even in the wet because it shifts smoothly unlike humans.

Great review as ever. How would you rate this bike against the Kawasaki Versys 650?
I would say that this bike is feel like much lighter and easier to ride.
The Kawasaki Versys 650 only has two quarts of oil in the sump, the Honda NC a gallon....go figure.
Given equal maintenance and equal wear and tear the Honda motor can and will last 200 thousand km with ease. The Versys will last you half of that.
