Oh my, that soil mix looks like my orchid mix (chunky pine bark, hydroton, sponge rock, spaghnum moss), that I at times blend with a cactus and succulent soil for some of my plants. Just much cheaper. I guess I'm going to Lowe's... again😆. Thanks for the tip! This is one step closer to simplification and efficiency - a win 👌🏿.

Thanks Lisa! I did debate on showing me actually wetting the soil but I believe the 2nd clip shown at the sink shows damped soil jus without me actually wetting it on screen but I thanks for the feedback!
Thank you for shining a light on the common sense that I lack lol! I do online review comparison, am a serial bag reader and general overthinker. When you said pick up the bag and feel it, I realized I do all that research to pick up my chosen bag by the empty top, drop it in the cart and have the nerve to be mad I have to amend it when I get home! 🤣

Thank you! I appreciate you and this video. Very informative for a beginner plant mom like myself. It hasn’t taken me long to figure out that the “indoor potting mix” I use just isn’t it! Holds way too much water. I’m definitely gonna try this out. I’ll have to check it out and see how it’s made here because I live in Maryland. Thanks again!
