I think keeping the Cricut in the cubby is a good idea, Kim. It allows you to have more free-space to put projects if you need. I love Lizzie is starting a business of her own. I had a friend like that growing up and she still has that entrepreneurial spirit to this day and she's very good at it. Kudos to Eddie and Lizzie for being first with their assignments!

I love how Lizzie is following in your footsteps! I have a question because your pony tails are always straight and flawless. Do you relax your hair or it’s naturally straighten out like that? ❤
No relaxer anymore. My hair is naturally curly. I’m able to get my hair to lay so flat in a bun with: Xtreme Gel (it’s a large clear bottle with a green top) and a lot of water and moisturizer (Pillow Soft Curls by: Miss Jessie’s) Then I put on my scarf and keep it on for as long as I can. 🤗💜

Starting a business is some hard work! I thought about doing it myself, and I still do, but I work FT so for now I just make stuff for me, which is still fun and helps me to perfect my crafts.

Get a thicker skin because when you enter middle school and high school the kids are not nice. Talk to your mom she was once young and she is your best support. You can always choose to not to test. It is an option. There was a time when my.kids (as teens) decided they weren’t ready. Their sensei’s did not ‘give’ them belts. They did have to earn it, especially the farther they got into it. I remember black belt test days. You would be only one tested and was an 8 hr test. All mine went through it. I do know someone who didn’t pass his first time

Oh, I have another story for you in the vlog I’m currently recording. It’s about the conversations Lizzie hears the girls having at lunch. 😱🤦🏾♀️ You wouldn’t believe it. This generation is something else, and it’s because the previous generation (my generation) is getting extremely lazy at parenting them. 😢💜
Totally agree, unfortunately some parents use the internet as babysitters and the kids are accessing content way to old for them, you’re doing a great job at raising your kids to be kind, ambitious, functional adults. Can’t wait to here the story about what the kids said at lunch although the more I hear about her school the more I’m not surprised 😂

Hey Ms. Kim, you’re still a young woman and attending to your businesses as well as your youngins. I’m an elderly lady of almost 75 years old and was spunky and active when I was your age. Words of wisdom for you……please invest in an “Ergonomic” type chair which supports your spine when seated. Your back needs protection and you need to be pain free. Also, although pricey, tables which can be raised and lowered might also be a wise investment for you. That way you can choose to stand and do things when you feel like it. As you get older, you look back and say…. “Sure wish I would have…..” but now too late and painful! Just a thought kiddo to prevent future problems. Sorry for Lizzie’s loss at school. Sometimes lessons are painfully learned. Best thing is Lizzie, was not hurt! Guardian Angels surrounded your baby, ty Jesus! Blessings to everyone! Remember when I told you the south was a wee bit different years ago and the kids was off the chain. That’s what I meant. As a military brat I don’t find kids up north as aggressive and rude. I’m in AL now and hunniiiii, when I tell u the kids are rude disrespectful and mean_ and the parents are worse!

I always used to say I can’t stand “other people’s kids” when my kids were growing up.
I love that you involve yourself in sports and keep the kiddos in sports ! I agree no trophy for everyone. Teaches poor self esteem. T kids are not stupid. They know they are being handed a warped value. But kids will cooperate and don’t see the long term psychological effects of ill taught behavior acceptance. Sad.
