Curious question...for the fans blowing air into the box, do you have air filters for the air they're pulling in so that they're not blowing any dust over your screens? Thank you so much!
GOOD Question! You will want to sweep and mop the floor of your dark room regularly. Wipe for any dust on the other surfaces in your dark room when you sweep and mop. If there is no dust outside - there will be no dust inside your dry box. The first time you put a dry box in - I might put a filter over the fans to catch the stray dust you kick up - but after a few hours of the fans running - supported by the newly cleaned dark room - there should be no issues with dust and lint.
Hi! The dehumidifier in the box creates all the heat you need. Leave it running on continuous mode so its always working to pull moisture out of the air.
What ever you can afford. The bigger it is the more space it takes - but the more water it can pull from the air. At a certain point there is over kill - but - overkill depends on how many wet or coated screens you put in it each day. The one in that cabinet is a 4qt unit i believe.
Short answer yes. Long answer - yes, but the moment you introduce ANY moisture from the freshly reclaimed screens into your DRY space, your coated screens will begin to soak it up and will get more humid / wetter. You will then need to wait for THAT moisture to evaporate from the coated screens before exposing them..
Hi @Kevin Mamforte, that works fine. The dryer the better for the most part. Warmth will help it drey a bit faster as well, but an AC'ed room will work as well.
Thanks for watching everyone!
It did! Great video!! Thank you!

You should do a more in depth on the build of that box
thanks for posting this. going to be building one soon and using this as a reference.
hi. does the boxfan recuriculate the air inside OR pull air from the outside?. Thanks
It recirculates the air inside. Keeps it nice and dry.
How do you control dust?

The whole cabinet is fully insulated? how do i make the air become warm? the box fans have a heatsource included?

@@Ryonet thanks so much! I’ll do it!!
Hey, what size dehumidifier would you need for a rigout similar to your drying box?

can I put my coated drying into an air-conditioned room?
