WILDLAND WEEK with Pohakuloa Company 50 Fire Department
Last week Recruit Class 52 completed the fundamentals of bushfire skills, tools and techniques they will use someday in the future. These included tool maintenance, brush truck fire pump protocols, fire shelters, hose line attacks, stretches and fire-ground attacks. Led by Company 50 Pohakuloa personnel, recruits were able to participate in many simulated training in realistic areas. The last day included a 3-Mile Ruck test and a simulated brush fire team approach and a simulated man-down during the incident. Come and take a look at wild-land week!
