Is there a setting to have two presets one for keypad and the other as a joystick? So if I play a steam game I can quickly switch over to Joystick setting. The XARCADE tankstick now has that feature
What I've done in the past when I wanted this functionality, for example, for Nintendo, I would make the keys to my control panel controls. Then I would use JoyPad to set the nintendo style controllers to use the same buttons as the control panel joysticks. Then in the emulator I map everything to the control panel keys. That way, to the user, they can use either or.
Reading Ultimarc's site it says Example configurations include: 2 player with trackball/spinner. 4 player without trackball spinner. Could you have 3rd and 4th player configured with trackball and spinner? Just wondering because I have a 4 player setup and want the use of trackball and spinner.
No, you would need to decide, IF you were going to run it all through the iPac. However, when you order the trackball, just get the USB controller with it, and same for the spinner. Then, your player 3 and 4 can go through iPac and your spinner and trackball operation independently. The RGBs for the trackball (optional) can still operate through the iPac.
@@MavericksArcade to piggyback this, as I am about to do a 40 button 4 player control board... The buttons will be goldleaf and I am only doing an led u-trak trackball... If I understand correctly, I can get away with using only 1 ultimate i/o board to support all 4 players if I get the seperate usb board for the trackball? I will have a mouse left/right button and 4 "mode" buttons also on my control panel, in addition to my 8 button (players 1/2) and 4 buttons for (3/4)... as well as start/coin for each player. thanks for answering
