    I have hatched quails in Australia and they are a real joy. They are very vocal though. At the moment I am busy starting a new business for my partner breeding heritage chickens in the Philippines.

    They look so cute! And great advice about whether or not to clean the eggs, and which ones not to use.
    What a difference that incubator makes compared to the one you bought on E-Bay.

      Thanks, Anthony! Yes, the Borotto was well worth the money! After incubating these Quails, I think I might breed some for myself in the distance future!

    Hi i have a very big quail egg in the Lumia incubator, do you think it will have any health problems on hatch if gets that far?

    • @quantumhomeimprovements
      @quantumhomeimprovements  5 місяців тому

      That's a good question! I am not sure about quail eggs, but when I incubate big chicken eggs, it usually doesn't hate because it has a double yoke. Unfortunately for me, that has a low hatch rate. However, in your case, I don't know what is happening. It could just be a sigle yoke big egg, which can be and should be fine. Do you have a high-powered quail egg torch to identify where it has a single or double yoke?
