She was losing her way shortly after this period. It was probably in part due to substance use, the bad influence of her husband and the bad marriage fall out.
I feel like she doesn’t really care about her career anymore, yet she still likes to be famous. I do believe she’s been angry since the divorce and hope she recovers the peace she had before Ritchie. The Evita and ROL eras showed us the happiest and most peaceful Madonna ever.
