Akira and Elizabeth were a such great team. I began to be a fan of SH roughly 15 years ago and even it is normally not my type of music but their chemistry is simply a a masterpiece level. I hope, both of them are enjoying their lives..

This sounds more like a song that would've been on "Shadows of the Damned", but either way this is fucking heavy, so cool of Akira and Mary to give us one more Slent Hill song
Joe Almaraz yeah no I don't think so. She's going to be at the Phoenix comic con. She does English voice acting for anime and she's even played a part in Steven Universe. She plays a role in the English dubbed Ghost in the Shell. The convention is presenting her as a voice actor and she's even doing a panel with a fellow voice actor. Used to be no matter how much of a failure any other aspect of a new Silent Hill product turned out to be (for example, 90% of Revelations), there was always some new musical treat. Then Yamaoka and McGlynn went away. :< Now we suddenly have an unprecedented dream team, Kojima and Del Toro, working on the next one. :D Maybe they can use their star power and/or trucks full of money to at least get a song or two from Yamaoka and McGlynn. I know Kojima knows exactly what the fans want and he's really good at giving it to them even when they turn around and hate him for it. I imagine Del Toro must be familiar enough with the series to understand how this would be the perfect treat for long time fans. Fingers crossed, I guess...
I'd prefer they get Akira-san to return for Silent Hills. If not, there is always Kojima-dono's friendship with master composer Harry Greggson-Williams to consider.
Flandre Scarlet EricPaz ShaDHP23 not sure if any of you three realize but sadly konami halted the silent hills production. they did the same to the entire metal gear series too.
The theme chosen by the one whom metamorphed to her alternate form, after attempting the rites and overcame her initial failures that stemmed from her insecurities and weaknesses.
I nearly blew a gasket when I saw Vincent in the film - why did they feel the need to change his entire character?! They completely westernised the film, and ruined what could have been a great Survival horror movie masterpiece; the pacing, the atmosphere, visuals, all ignored for some unrecognisable, 'stylish' macabre disaster, with nothing but flimsy shock factor techniques. And don't get me started on the dialogue, or the gaping holes they forcibly bored into the plot, probably the most horrific aspect of the movie - I mean, douglas, an important main character was killed immediately, why?! Apparently no-one wants to watch a middle aged man play a lead role with the quirky, if misunderstood teen - just like a male wouldn't have the capacity to face a world of horror to save his daughter, only a mother would do that! (Yes, sarcasm...) And speaking of glossy, socially acceptable stereotyped characters - Vincent as a teen? Really? If they wanted to add the completely pointless romance (It was meant to be a portrayal of a daughters vengeful campaign against her past and fathers murderer - not a gory rendition of twilight) have him as his older self, and in character for that matter. It's Silent Hill for Pyramids sake, surely a little age difference would be the least offensive thing in the movie? Compared to the blatant disregard of the original intentions of the creator, in any case.
Viradectus -Stephanie-Louise- Yeah, it would indeed be my worst nightmare if a horror movie which has a huge fucking 3D stamp slapped on the title, while being based on a story driven videogame, was called a masterpiece.
There are a couple of mistakes in the lyrics. Bellow is the correct version (corrections in caps). "SAME OLD memories when we fall asleep Among the burning dreams Make you BELIEVE in the silent screams When they whisper in your sleep "

Then again I have a hard time imagining too many metal fans that wouldn't also like Silent Hill so... I'm just going to stop looking for an explanation here.
The only good thing from this movie and this is because Akira and Elizabeth did this and not those crazy producers from the movie. Piramid Head VS Claudia? that was the worst lol!
Silent Hill was a beautiful movie, and I loved it to pieces. However, Silent Hill Revelations fell so far short of what I was hoping. The soundtrack is pretty killer, but the movie... ehhh not so much.
The first movie is SO good. When I noticed on the second watch that the director actually referenced camera angles from the first and second game with his camera angles in the move? I lost it. Too much love poured into that movie, and everyone hated it.
The Manniquen Monster in the 2nd movie is alot more intimidating than the game version. However the scary thing is that we don't know how it'd react around males, it wants to fetch female heads and parts to grow larger in size & power so it's really confusing for what it will do against the opposite gender.
This song's amazing and Mary's voice is pretty great but, you know what I feel when I listen to this heavy dark instrumental? Layne Staley's voice harmonizing with Jerry Cantrell's. That would be.... damn.

The bass too... this is heavy asf😭
I hope you're looking into Akira's other stuff too cuz there's quite a bit of cool metal stuff going on
God, Yamaoka knows how to make kick-ass metal music!

I agree I love metal and Akira all together. It's legendary, believe me
He had help from Mary Elizabeth McGlynn

Nice. Lovely melody and lyrics. Yamaoka will never disappoint with music.
Yamaoka is the saving grace from this corporate waste of a sequel. Every note he makes is just a song from heaven
