I've always been aware of Josh Groban, I've heard him sing before, but I haven't been able to fully appreciate him til I saw Sweeney Todd. What a voice.
They have a real chemistry onstage-as performers they seem really in sync with each other. I love the smile she gives him after she sings, “my power over you,” and he finishes the lyric. It’s lovely AND funny!
When he sang all i ask of you with lea salonga who said that she would want to play christine, josh joked that he wanted to play christine too. Guess it came true after all hahahahahaha

If I wasn't a fan of Joshs voice since 2004, the year I was born, I would have become it after this performance. And Annaleigh impressed me already in Sweeney Todd, she is live as good as in recordings.

The first song I ever heart of him was "Remember me" when I was a few months old baby, watching the movie "Troy" that had just been released in that year. Somehow I recognized his voice every time I heart it even as a little toddler. And of course Troy became my favourite movie later on when I was old enough to understand the plot! 🙃
lol did they actually playback the final note for Josh? That and two Annaleigh doubles in the balconies they really committed to having all the quirks of a real production.

Miscast has artists performing roles they would not usually be cast for. The mask is what the male Phantom character wears in the show, which makes it funnier still in this instance
It's supposed to be funny of course! It's MisCast, an event run for charity. Broadway stars taking on roles they are not meant for...eg gender bending.
