@@黏糊糊的 What exactly doesn't work? Most problems can be bypassed by turning off real time protection/antivirus for the download and launch. See video: ua-cam.com/video/81fNIcnv8jQ/v-deo.html
Alicia Online doesn't have any trojans or viruses, this only occurs due to the games outdated game files/engine. But your antivirus may falsely flag it as such and won't let you launch/download the game.
@@pryzmthedragon i whitelisted it and it still didn't work. it will startup, show the update screen, and the logo and it still won't actually open the game.
@@pryzmthedragon To add, i did watch your video but unfortunately i use a third party virus protector and like i said, i whitelisted AO and it still didn't work. 🫤

@@j4ychu Of course the community is nice ^^. What I meant is that newcomers are not given a break in the race just because they are new. 😅 But the game is not particularly difficult to learn, so you get the hang of it quickly. Especially people who have already played Mario Kart or something similar.
I've been researching this game to see if I want to play, but I'm wondering -- if the current version of Alicia Online now run by fans, how are they able to keep it up and running while also including premium currency? Would they not get in trouble for that sort of thing? I don't really know much about MMO economy tbh.

The current version is maintained by fans. There is only one server, which they run privately out of their own pockets. But you don't have to pay anything. The game is free. They are not allowed to charge any money for it because the rights are still owned by NTREEV. The premium currency has therefore been changed and can now be earned within the game through carnivals or gift boxes. You can win carnivals if your horse is selected at random and has the most stars for mane, coat and tail among the participants, as well as the highest stat value. However, the server had a serious crash a month ago and is therefore still down. The team is working on restoring everything. Until then you can't play Alicia Online. You can check if the server is up again on their facebook or vk page. I will also publish an update about this.
Don’t play all the tutorials, you should trigger the NPC quest for each one first otherwise you’ll have to replay it (it won’t count the completed ones from before the quest was activated)
If that is the case, you are welcome to do so. I haven't played the questline from the beginning for years, so I don't know anymore. I only recommend playing through the tutorial once, because there are players who ignore the questlines and would otherwise never play through them.
