I finally got the car working software and setup was a bit of a chore but after 3 days it is working. Looking forward to instructions on getting it to work autonomously.
Great video love it . I want to mount a stereo camera on the top of donkey car for slam purpose . Is the setup almost same ? Do you have any video for that ? Your videos are really informative .thanks a lot
Excellent video ! As usual ! This one comes just in time, I'm working on something similar... as soon as Corona is slowing down I can go ahead with it.
it's awesome that you're working on something similar, tag me (@acrobotic) in social media if/when you post results-i'm always curious to see what people build! i've been wanting to try this for a while, and the slow-down due to the recent events has helped me get to it. gl!
@@datasith I'm working on a robot lawnmower for quite some time. So I can spread the money a little bit. It's a work in progress but I would very much like to have it running this spring. I'll let you know through UA-cam, since I'm not on FaceBook etc. However, I'm on LinkedIn.
I'm working with the almost setup. Differential driving. The back two wheel powered by two motors and the front wheel is a ball pen wheel. I'm using a raspberry pi 3b+ and L289N . I have been reading that it's not possible to do differential driving with this motor controller . Would really appreciate some feedback Thank you
Very fast, but looks thorough - I can always slow it down on UA-cam :) . Question: It looks like you moved to Python 3.2. I have been reluctant to move, since there are incompatibilities (I think). What was your thinking?
thanks for the feedback, paul! i'm making a multi-part series on building a donkey car so i've been working on it for a while. the speed might be the result of me being ready to move on to a new project :) python 2 has been officially 'sunset' as of 1/1/2020, but that doesn't mean that every library out there will be upgraded to work with python 3. imo, the compatibility has gotten so much better over the past 2~3 years. but, being honest, the main reason i used it here was because the donkey car software was made for python 3 😂
I can't figure out what you are doing with anaconda, and you are using a mac while I have a PC. Are you putting anaconda on the raspberry pi, it looks like you put it on your mac but anyway can you explain this better.

@@datasith ok. that makes sense. Keep up the good work!

Is this possible with pytorch ?
