Heard the Origin at CanJam London (Linsoul were demo-ing them unreleased on the Sunday for feedback), these were incredible with the tracks I was listening to on the day. Had a very quick comparison between these and Hype 4 & Oracle Mk3, the Origin sounded amazing compared to those for my taste, much fuller sound with better bass extension and a warmer tuning (done well). Absolutely gonna save up for a set of these, from that brief listen for 5-10 minutes these sounded like my perfect set of IEMs.
I always love Thie's aesthetic on the caps design, it's not too over designed, but not too boring either. Hope I can try this out one day, seems like a very interesting set. Good job to Thie for creating yet another great IEM.

I sold my DaVinci and bought the Hype 4 and am now a Thieaudio fan. It basically nails my preferred tuning and I'm on the lookout for further Thieaudio sets to maybe buy next

I tried these at CanJam London…I liked them but I thought these were in the Mega5EST price bracket 😅 I was probably fooled by the presentation, I tried them with the KiwiEars tips provided by the Linsoul guys and a cable which was not the one that comes with them…if you add that to the noise on the CanJam floor I can say I did myself a disservice. I will try them again as soon as I can because the overall feeling was my cup of tea. Great review as always! 🙌

I asked Linsoul on their Origin Sound demo to play Sultans of Swing, and listening on B&O EX ( they can get looow ). The bass is certainly intense, a Rap and „party set” for sure. But I think some stuff gets lost in all of that. I’m currently saving for an end game set, and now know that Origin is out of the list. Will probably wait for the Xenns Mangird UP mk2
I'm hearing more about hybrids with bone conduction drivers in now but they all seem to be really expensive. Feels a bit like when RHA came out with a stupidly expensive planar IEM and now they've finally come down in price to the point that the tech is actually affordable - I wonder if we'll see the same sort of thing with these drivers some day.
I tried Thieaudio once, never again, as they can't do CIEM. Let's hope more companies (that can do true custom) picks up on the new bone-conductor stuff.
See what price these will be in a year's time. I will be back in the frame for buying a TOTL IEM then. Following my recent purchases, Deuce, Alba, Quintet etc, I'm taking a year off purchases but will be keeping an eye on the developments in the hobby. Kinda reached a happy place for my listening time. Mind you, I could do with a new DAP. Hint, Hint!!!
Up until now, the Clairvoyance has always been my fav set from TheiAudio. It hit a remarkable crossroads of quality, tuning and price. Based on your review, the Origin looks like it might take the crown for me - at least from this company. Sounds like they did a fantastic job with this one & resisted the urge to overprice it. Good job ThieAudio!
I’m not gonna lie, there’s several pairs from Thie that I could just buy right now and probably be happy with. The Monarch MK2, Prestige LTD, this Origin now, all look spectacular.
Commenting for algorithm and liking because I did in-fact like the video. I did find that there was an interesting high pitched sound throughout the video and it did kinds hurt. First time hearing it in one of your vids, hopefully it's a 1 time thing.
Measurement rigs measure air pressure at a simulated eardrum. BC bypasses the eardrum and goes directly to the cochlea. So it probably doesn't measure properly...
When you can compare a sub $1000 iem directly against a good $3000 iem, it definitely piques my interest. Added to my “hopefully one day” list. Nice review ✌️
