“Pioneer Woman” Ree Drummond gave fans a glimpse of her daughter Alex Drummond’s wedding day. The 52-year-old Food Network host hit Instagram to share a behind-the-scenes video of the most intimate moments from Alex and her husband Mauricio Scott’s nuptials. “Lots of behind-the-scenes wedding fun, weather drama, and a few happy tears, too. It’ll be fun to experience it all while wearing jeans and no Spanx! P.S. I may or may not have stepped on a floor vent cover with my wedding heels and gotten stuck right before the ceremony. Why, Ree?? Why??,” Ree wrote alongside the video. The happy couple tied the knot in an enchanting ceremony on the family’s Oklahoma ranch in May.

ok...this is odd to me....when dad sees his daughter 1st time in wedding gown, his response was so underwhelming, wasnt it?! it felt so awkward. like they were neighbors having a convo & the hug??!!!...like you give to a friend of the family!
when my dad, who is a combat vet retired marine btw, saw his daughter (my older sister) in her dress for the 1st time...he wept (although he tried to hide it!) ! hugged her & told her how proud he was & how beautiful she looked & she was crying too!!!! we all got teary!!! maybe this is how some families are, but they seemed weird to me.
