Lol, I love that there are medical professionals that actually told her shingles is an "old person disease" it's a herpes zoster & can be spread by either direct contact from the fluid of blisters or in situations of extreme stress to the immune system if you've already had the chicken pox virus, you can get them at pretty much any age, I was in my early 20's when I got them but saw people of many ages come into the hospital with them.

My immune system is non existent because of 2 immune disorders but after getting the jab I never had another outbreak thank heavens but I only just turned 40 so it could still happen. Even Mild cases suck so bad, your daughter must be a tough cookie.

There is a spray in conditioner that you can get on Amazon it's made by L'oreal and it's called Equave it's great doesn't make your hair greasy if your hair is dry when you put it on and it smells amazing it has tea tree oil in it. Not only do I swear by it but my husband has really long hair and he loves it. It's a must have in my house! Everyone I have told about it are now hooked now!

They did the same thing with me. I had what felt like a heart attack and went in there for four freaking hours.I was so mad I said I’m going home. My husband literally had to convince them and grab my arm because I was going to leave they took me in, gave me ulcer medicine. I had a really severe reaction from head to toe from it.then went that same night to a different hospital. They took me right in and they said I had to have emergency surgery. I had a gallbladder stones and yellow jaundice the liver was quitting. I could’ve died this is where uneducated doctors need to step up and educate right cause this is disgusting. There’s thousands of people die every year because of uneducated doctors.
Omgosh I had a similar experience with a spider bite,it was horrible. I'm so sorry you had to go through that,sometimes hospitals just get it wrong unfortunately. Our daughter got shingles and Mononucleosis in middle school and continues to get shingles when stressed or at times of illness.
