I'm so glad they came all the way here and put on an amazing show. This video isn't even close to the actual experience, but I hope you enjoy even if you couldn't attend.
I was here with my wife and two kids , so this was the kids' first show ever. I wouldve been roughly same exact level but to your right. It was an experience to say the least. Never saw TOOL before and i get it now. Its something you just gotta see for yourself. My son is 6 and he looked like a Mack Truck ran him over by the time Roserta Stoned kicked off lol
there was a kid that age behind me and I looked back here and there to see if he was having a good time and I honestly couldn't tell lol
@@nataliekelly5063lmao if it was a fuzzy haired blonde lil guy it mightve been him. Both the kids loved it and went to school Monday morning sporting tour shirts, getting dumbfounded looks by classmates but thumbs up by cooler teachers lol
I mean couldve been the contact buzz lol
This show was AMAZING! This was the 8th time iv seen them in my life, and this show was by far the best!
Nice! I wish I could’ve made the show but work had other plans for me. Awesome to see TOOL back in the Mountain State!!! 🤘🏻
Nice small venue. It took them 20 years to come back to Charleston because of the way the crowd treated Mike Patton/Tomahawk. Maynard understandably played the whole show with his back to the crowd.
This looked much better of a situation 🤙
They were in Huntington in 2002 not Charleston. Maynard did the whole tour like that. Tomahawk got booed out of oblivion because they started making redneck jokes. Then did a horrible start to Sober. Danny even came out to drum for Tomahawk to drum on a song. It was an epic show.
were people really sitting for most of the show and getting admonished if they stood? what the hell happened?!?
Our section stood the entire time
Lot of down tempo songs on this tour. Plus, the average Tool fan is like 45-50.
Row p seat 7-8... probably right behind where this video was taken
TOOL was recording the show for self promotion and social media. They asked for no cellphones/photos due to the recording. It was a bas ass show!!!
Ummmmm....Tool doesn't allow cellphones/videos at ANY of their shows. Also, please point out where you see cameras onstage documenting this show????
@@takecareofyourshoessthey do for the last song, most of the time, depending if the crowd behaved the whole set and no phones were used, then he lets u on the last song, do u not see all those phone screen lights in the audience???
@@ryangman230 I know that. What's your point??? I don't need to see all of the phones in the crowd because since the video even exists at all it means they were allowing recording. They throw you out pretty quickly if they see you videoing before the last song (some venues give a warning first). I've seen it happen more than once. (I had the batteries confiscated out of my camera once upon a time myself.)
I've seen Tool many times, so please don't try to tell me about how their shows go, lol.
Dam man, I need to get seats a little higher up next time to see that shit because it looks fucking incredible.
