thank you so much. I have tried printing this out and it worked! but one thing though, the overlap "marker" is a bit different for me. If I set 1 cm overlap all of the markings need to be 1 cm as well, not half like yours. idk why though. but at least it works!
Thank you! Unfortunately it doesn't seem to want to let me scale-print-save a layered PDF, do you know what's up? :C I'm trying to not have a million different files for all my sizes and instead just have a layered PDF where they can choose the size(s) they want, I've seen others do this and can't seem to figure it out!
Any possibility of doing just the opposite and take it to Illustrator? I mean, I have a pattern in a pdf so I could have it at scale 1:1 when printed but want to have it on illustrator match all the parts and create a single image, thank you in advance!
Thank you so much for your tutorial. I’v been looking for this for a long time, but could not find so far in Japanese language. Now I’m very happy. I looking forward to trying it tomorrow morning. BTW, one thing that I would like to make sure is that, if I set the overlap in 2 inch (for example), I should make the rectangle in one inch wide. Is that correct? Please let me know that if you do not mind.
Could you please let me know your Illustrator version. I tried to do the same, but the only I can choose PDF printer is Microsoft's. And I cannot choose only the first page of my PDF pages when trying to open the PDF file which is produced by Microsoft PDF printer. Please define the necessary configurations including the Illustrator version and printer. Should I subscribe Adobe acrobat DC?
I don't get a PDF Import Options dialog when I go to FIle > Open, the PDF just automatically opens in Illustrator. I've tried googling but haven't found anything about this, only that they added the import feature a while ago.

Can you put a purchased pdf pattern in Adobe illustrator
Any luck with this?
did you print with borders off?
Nope, just print with nornal margins.
Sadly Adobe PDF is not an option -- maybe an update
