Taking a picture is kinda really time consuming when it comes to referring those photos later. In my opinion, that is. There's also the question of organizing them because many people have tons of photos in their phones.

Pan Da I mean, you’re not wrong. I guess it’s just up to preference. It is cheaper to use a binder, but I hated how clunky binders are (I used one basically every school year until halfway through college when I switched). With the arc notebooks you can buy bigger discs if you need to expand your notebook (for example, I keep four sections for classes, plus planner inserts so I have everything in one book) or smaller discs if it’s too bulky (I like to keep two months at a time if I can, so I have a smaller book). In a binder, I hated how the paper ripped easier when it was placed inside, so you’d have to buy those little stickers to put around each hole. It also took more time for me to rearrange my notes, because you have to open the binder clip, which got stuck most of the time for me, and then close it back up, whereas I found I moved notes in the arc book much quicker and easier (and quieter). The arc book also comes with accessories that go right inside the book like the paper, so for example, I have a little set of postits that I usually have in my language section, but I can move it to any section I want and it’ll be right there inside the book always, and also works as a bookmark for me. Like you said, though, binders are cheaper, so it’s really up to what you need and what you’d like to spend. I personally prefer to spend more to have the arc system to use over and over, because I hate the bulkiness and how hard binders are, and the arc notebook is just more convenient for me 😁
Delilah Blanco yeah you can cheat in math 😎 How? Go to the cover than turn it to the calculator page then you turn on your echo smartpen then use the calculator the pen will give you the answer 🙂😇 Edit: but do not try to cheat 😂
I already get all a’s but I feel like I could get all 100s if my note taking was better because...it’s ALL over the place. I’m gonna pay for my own tho instead of asking my parents. (Birthday money coming on clutch)
The Echo Smart pen recording feature would probably suck since the sound of you writing would probably drown out your teacher's voice. It would defeat the purpose.
Yeah, i personally wouldn’t get one for myself, BUT one of my teachers had one, and he would upload the recording of class and notes online as soon as class was over, and that was truly cool. That seems like a teacher tool rather than a student tool.
Just use your phone even a phone microphone is better than such a small pen, not to mention her voice is so close to the pen, and if you’re in a lecture hall, the teacher won’t be that close
the Arc and other discbound notebooks have a slight advantage. You can easily move pages around without having to open up the notebook and risk the other pages falling out. You can also change out the disc sizes which would allow you to have a bigger notebook if you needed it-- versus moving everything to a larger binder. But honestly it is personal preference of the person who is using it. I have always had problems with (eventually) binder rings getting loose or not closing-- so I prefer disc bound notebooks.
I honestly prefer the arc system because moving pages is much quicker than in a binder (sometimes the rings are hard to open, etc), and the discs can be changed to bigger or smaller rings so that you can expand the notebook itself, whereas let’s say I wanted to remove a few sections from a binder, the binder stays the same size no matter what, if that makes sense. :)
I personally hate writing on pages in a traditional binder because I have to reach across the rings to write on the back side of a page and I find that the pages rip more easily, so having this be spiral bound but with the customizable features of a binder makes it easier for me to write tbh

@Alice S. Thinner than a binder there are $5 binders as thin as 1/4 inch so if that's too thick try a $1 folder with or without prongs I you can't justify that kind of money when these options exist
Some of us prefer a notebook over a binder, especially if you're writing in it. It is practically a binder, and binders are typically cheaper, but there's also cheaper versions out there if you're willing to look.
My pre-calc professor used the Livescribe/Echosmart system for her lectures, so all of our lectures were recorded with her notes being written in real-time. It was great. I've wanted one ever since. I just bought the Staples arc system, and am so excited to use it to make a planner and school notebook.
Personally I would just prefer normal three subject notebook. The one I have at the moment is a pukka pad in A5 each divider comes with a folder and tabs to write on you can also pull out pages because of the ring binder.
instead of getting an ark notebook you should get a binder! Binders are super easy to add pages, remove pages, and customize the front back and sides. plus you can get rid of your notes in less than five seconds by opening the rings (no microwave needed!)
The only thing I don't like about the Rocket book Everlast is you need to get a certain pen, therefore I maybe wouldn't use it. Overall, the app is really appealing. There is no point in making Rocket book color, because you could change the paper in the other Rocket book Everlast to make sure color works on it. Rocket book Wave is quite cool beacuse of the microwave. I also like the Livescribe and it is probably my favourite one... I love how it records your notes so you have it written down and recorded. This feature is great for disabled people.
Naeema Noor The wave is basically the same as the other 2 but it uses the microwave. The one that you were talking about is the livescribe single subject notebook That records and has calculator. 😌😊
the staples notebook looks like it would be really easy to have pages just fall out - especially the way i treat my notebooks. theres a few japanese notebook brands that are basically wirebound notebooks that you can open up kinda like binders, so the holes on the pages are actually closed and not just sort-of holes
I have used the RocketBook for about 2 years now in college! It's awesome! I used to use the one that wipes off, but I found that I would accidentally smudge the writing (I'm a righty) as I went as it takes a little for the ink to dry on the glossy page! I recently switched to the RocketBook wave that you microwave and I love it! It feels like real paper unlike the wipe off one! It organizes everything perfectly and it has plenty of pages so you don't have to microwave it every day! I would suggest it to everyone! I'm also a super eco- friendly person so this is great for me and my carbon footprint! The only downside is that you have to use the specific pens and I find that they run out of ink pretty quickly as I write a lot of pretty detailed notes in college! I'm also not sure if this is a thing, but I would really like there to be highlighters I could use on it!
I have the Everlast now and I actually did find highlighters on Amazon for them, just look up pilot frixion highlighters they have two kinds (both like the pens with how they erase) a ‘color set’ with neon colors and a ‘soft set’ with pastels
right?? im liking the rocketbook, wish it was around when i was a student. though i might still use it for grad school, seems silly though if i'm studying all online
I like the Arc Notebook that Staples carries...and to the 1000 comments saying "Isn't the Arc Notebook just a binder?", it is and it isn't. It's like a binder in the sense that you can remove pages and insert dividers, but it also acts like a spiral notebook. Just think about being able to fold the cover and previous pages back. Handy when you don't have a ton a space on the desk. Binders are quite rigid and won't let you do this easily. And I hate the way the metal spirals get bent out of shape on spiral notebooks. Don't even get me started on the little paper confetti! It's like a Build-A-Notebook. I use the Arc Notebook for my teacher planner. Love it! One thing to mention, you can buy the "Arc Punch" for about $50. That is pretty pricey for a paper punch, but worth it if disc bound notebooks are your thing. Don't bother with the $14 Arc Punch. It only does one page at a time. (Unless you are wild like me and need to Arc Punch something at work and don't want to lug your heavy-duty $50 punch back and forth. I don't trust leaving that one at school!)
She didnt talk about the biggest feature of rocketbooks-- it turns your handwriting into a document if you want and even if you dont you can search your notes in the apps. It has handwriting recognition. Like if im looking for every note I've made on existentialism and relationships I can search those terms and all my notes are together. The tagging function is very robust too I've heard
I tried the Arc and Rocketbooks. The Arc is a cool concept but I had an issue with pages constantly falling off when you'd flip them or bending and never fitting right again. The Rocketbooks app is what makes it a game changer, the uploading feature is the only unique thing about it. It's major flaw is the temperature sensitivity. I leave books I don't need in my car overnight (and because I uploaded the notes already to my phone I don't need to take the Rocketbook in) and during the cold winter months it brings all the old ink back making the Rocketbooks completely unusable for class in the mornings. A minor inconvenience but an important one to know.
Arc by Staples, Happy Planner and Lavenger actually have the same type of holes. The difference is that Lavenger's punches create slightly bigger holes, which is better for page turning. The Happy Planner punch is a bit bigger then the arc one (not by much) but smaller than the Lavenger one. Another difference is that it punches a bit more apart from the border of the paper, I don't really like this but it's the cheapest puncher.
If any of you need to find an app to take notes in, I highly recommend downloading Notability. It’s very well organized and I always use it to take notes in class and it also has a recording feature to record lectures while you write. Its really worth getting!
I do too and me and my mom are trying to get my school let me use it (we’re hoping that they will because of me having scoliosis and having a biology and pre-calc class back to back not being able to stop at my locker and having to lug those big books around that they’ll say yes)
The Arc system is great, and if you’re into planning with Happy Planner products, you can combine the two. The pages for the Big size Happy Planner fit in a standard Arc notebook :)
Can you imagine if your pen started talking to you in class?! HAHA Teacher: "WHO'S PHONE IS GOING OFF IN CLASS!" Student: "No, no teacher it's just my pen!"
In my country (Belgium) we have the arc notebook system but much cheaper and more minimalistic brand called atoma and even supermarkets sell off brand notebooks using the same system. I’ve been using it for years and it’s my absolute fave as it’s more accessible than a binder and perfect for perfectionist like me who like to move things around and change planning systems until they are perfect
if your talking about the kpop group then YES (which im assuming you are since your pfp is the exo light stick) but if your talking about the youtube channel then nah 😂
Went in staples during school supply time and spotted the arc system...or rather where its supposed to be in the aisle. After talking to some of the sales people I found out that notebook is getting very popular, especially for college.
Yeah but you could go though a full day of school, and use different pages for different classes, and you could forget to file your notes one night.....

“If your teacher lets you”
Me:Miss can I-
Miss:No
Me:Ok *does is anyways*
Miss:Detention
Me:Cool
Meow Bish I am a studytuber trying to encorage others to Study so I would love if you subscribe.to me and well as tell others to subscribe as well
@Kaseydilla shhhhhhhhh its ok if you sub to me ;)
You convinced me to buy some of these notebooks, it’s rare to have somebody convince me to buy something
First of all, the friction pens can erase on ANY kind of paper so yeah.
At 3:40 I was thinking how well this could be used to cheat on a test.
Math Teacher: What are u doing?
Me: oh just using SCRAP PAPER 😉😏
They're all so cool!!!
Rayyan Paigir I
Rayyan Paigir Except that stupid sequin one.
Rayyan Paigir the first one costs $260 on amazon plus a 60 something shopping charge ;-;;
I was completely blown away with the first few notebooks. I didn't realize we humans have come such a long way...
Naeema Noor
The wave is basically the same as the other 2 but it uses the microwave. The one that you were talking about is the livescribe single subject notebook
That records and has calculator.
😌😊
N N also it saves paper
U r getting confused between all the notebooks
kushi Chowdhury yeah I just realised it now
It comes with one pen
Noelles videos are personally my favorite!
The ARC notebook is nice, and the Standard Notebook can also be found at Barnes and Nobles...
the staples notebook looks like it would be really easy to have pages just fall out - especially the way i treat my notebooks. theres a few japanese notebook brands that are basically wirebound notebooks that you can open up kinda like binders, so the holes on the pages are actually closed and not just sort-of holes
is it just me who when i saw her username i instantly thought of the Kpop group Seventeen? Just me?
I can’t afford non of this. plus teacher want to use the old fashioned way
Noelle! Your videos are soo amazing, colourful and fun to watch! Keep inspiring unorganised and hot mess people like me! 💖
The last one was pointless
And all the sequins would fall off so fast and just make a mess and it'd look like 💩
Yeah, but in the one I have, the pages all fell out.
MY NEW FAVE UA-camR!
Omg, this makes me wanna to go school again
right?? im liking the rocketbook, wish it was around when i was a student. though i might still use it for grad school, seems silly though if i'm studying all online
I swear has nobody heard about a whiteboard????? And a photo camera???????🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔( for the first one)
The thing is a white board erases veryyyyyy easily.
Or a binder for the one at 6 something
@Kay my class doesn't have a whiteboard, we have chalkboards, we just clean the board using wet cloths
@@FuriousAquarian THANK YOU. I'm going to school for interior design. This would be PERFECT for me.🙏💖
I tried the Arc and Rocketbooks. A minor inconvenience but an important one to know.
ya know im fine with my 10 cent notebooks over here i cant spend hundreds of dollars on a notebook
Can’t you just buy a collage ruled 88 cent notebook from Walmart like us broke kids do 😂😂😂😂
No
I would also suggest the brand called “ 5 star” it has useful things and is practical for class and taking notes 😊
0
Omg you can cheat on a test with that live scribe pen and that notebook because there is a calculator
in my school (im in 8th grd) we are allowed to use calculators for tests
If any of you need to find an app to take notes in, I highly recommend downloading Notability. It’s very well organized and I always use it to take notes in class and it also has a recording feature to record lectures while you write. Its really worth getting!
I have the rocketbook ever last! It’s amazing! Definitely get it!
Same! I swapped it for my notebooks and binders so my backpack is so much lighter now.
Kpop Trash wait let me guess is in the notebook full of kpop??!?..If I have one (which I wont) it will be full of KPOP!!😂😂😂
I do too and me and my mom are trying to get my school let me use it (we’re hoping that they will because of me having scoliosis and having a biology and pre-calc class back to back not being able to stop at my locker and having to lug those big books around that they’ll say yes)
I love that you included the changing sequence notebook just because it was cool when it changed color. Lol
Is anyone else a carat? SVT!
Clinquants me I though at first it was 17 but NO im WRONG! *background music*...IM SUCH A TRASH😂😂
Meee
Clinquants yes! I was confused at first and was like “why is seventeen doing this?!?!” and then I was like “ohh... it’s not them”
Say the name seventeen
I absolutely love your channel, so helpful and enjoyable!
The double booked would be great for my elective classes. We get 2 each semester, that’s niceee
The Arc system is great, and if you’re into planning with Happy Planner products, you can combine the two. The pages for the Big size Happy Planner fit in a standard Arc notebook :)
I (easily) convinced my mom to buy 130+ notebooks for 8-15¢ each. Never regretted it since.
Imagine the conversation between u and ur teacher... “yeah.. so my pen will record everything u do... if ur ok with that”
1:41. THE NOTIFICATIONS.
that's making me go a little insane
1:40
Can you imagine if your pen started talking to you in class?! HAHA
Teacher: "WHO'S PHONE IS GOING OFF IN CLASS!"
Student: "No, no teacher it's just my pen!"
Yes but what she doesn't tell us is that the Echo smartpen whatever it's called is £131
Far from that, she said she was going to link it into the description, and they/she didn't do it. (Whatever, it's fine... for me, at least)
Saw the Standard Issue in the bookstore a couple months ago and was totally in love.
dat ecosmart pen tho and the ntbk 😍😍😍
I love my livescribe notebook and echo pen! Thank you for this video!
Me- go to the store find out every book is around a million pounds
YASSSSSSSSS THIS IS AMAZING! YOU ARE AMAZING
lol if i had that echo smart pen and record in class all i can hear is my teacher scolding the students
Is it just me or I clicked this video when I saw the logo 17 and the name Seventeen?😂😂
if your talking about the kpop group then YES (which im assuming you are since your pfp is the exo light stick) but if your talking about the youtube channel then nah 😂
kwon soonyoung is the only reason i breathe yes I am talking about the kpop group of course😂 Exo-L and Carat here😂
Mhyka Kim me!!!

Mhyka Kim hahhaha This happend when you a T R A S H TRASHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH YES!!! A TRASHHHHHHH ...
Yeah Ok I'll shut up😊
Went in staples during school supply time and spotted the arc system...or rather where its supposed to be in the aisle. After talking to some of the sales people I found out that notebook is getting very popular, especially for college.
I don't think our school allowed those notebooks. :(
Shane Ricee arc maybe ?
Thank you for this!
I LOVE the ARC! It's suuuuper easy to use!
She kinda looks like the queen of slime..
When I clicked on it, I thought it was her!
Karina Garcia?
Pari Maheshwari yes
lottie pool same
Anime_ Sticka actually its her mother
7:03 Does anyone else love the way she says ‘room’?
All you need is 1 page then
Tamea Animations Exactly!!!!
Tamea Animations wym?
Yeah but you could go though a full day of school, and use different pages for different classes, and you could forget to file your notes one night.....
hellboy the notebook with the erasable pages
I study Math at Uni and sometimes we easily write about 5-10 pages in one period of 2 hours. I wouldn’t like to stop and scan after every page.
i reaalllly hope this helps someone out but here are the notebooks, where to get them, when they were talked about in the video and their prices.

The sequin notebook is really common actually I don’t know if it is in America though. But those other notebooks are actually amazing! I’m surprised I haven’t heard about them seeing as how innovative and futuristic they are 😍😍😍😍
YAYYYY BUJO'ING WITH NOELLE ❤
Aslan c: This isn’t bullet journaling...
Dani Panda cool, your opinion isn't important to ne
me*
Aslan c: I’m just saying. U don’t need to get so defensive.
Dani Panda I am not defensive, I just did not ask you to correct me.
Today I just watched this video.and thanks I’m a very messy person and the thing you showed me helped a lot.
