Hands down 1983 is Michael Jackson best look and his year. His Jheri Curl, his style, his achievements in that year, the Motown performance,the videos, the breaking barriers on MTV, the 7 Top 10 singles including 2 Number 1 hits including another Number 1 hit with Paul McCartney, the 14 weeks at Number one on Billboard Hot 100 and 22 weeks at Number one on Billboard Hot 200. 1983 is his year and also where he looked his best.
