Man, Castille is such a large and popular country, I can't decide on a single suggestion. So here goes three: 1)As a throwback to Aztec game, conquer their capital in multiplayer. Aztecs and their full alliance network are human players. 2)As you establish your first colony, switch to it, break free and take enough provinces in Seville trade node that you become the dominant trade power there and set your trade capital there. Or just conquer Iberia. 3)As a nice guy Castille, make sure that Granada survives and prospers and eventually forms Andalusia. No vassalizing allowed. And if you can de-ironman your save file, set the remaining centuries to observer mode.

When you play other tribes Consider no cb dec war and vassalize. Sometimes it’s good to just have a few vassals. Don’t build a fort anywhere. Build it in the worse terrain for your enemies as possible my good sir. Great game fun to watch.
As Castile instead of colonising and getting personal unions, maybe switch to Sunni and Andalusian primary culture and form Andalusia to wage the *de*-conquista against Catholic Europe instead. Lots of fun and completely cursed.
It was really cool to see your navy absolutely wreck the Portuguese and English navies, feels like you are a native pirate horde lol As Castille, well, be still and survive without declaring any offensive wars!
As Castile, be a 2nd Austria. Don't bother colonizing too much, play the Europe game. Try for the Burgundian inheritance and then see if you can get a strong German nation as a PU. Continue the Reconquista into N Africa.

My favorite game was getting "No Pirates in my Caribbean" As Carib. Migrated to haiti for that trade and did pretty well stealing the azores from Portugal which gave me western neighbors for tech, and my lack of gold let me ally France
As Castille you could become Emperor of the HRE, form the Netherlands and if you want to play a longer campaign, win the league war on the protestant side and become then (again) Emperor. At the same time you should dominate Europe PUing at least Aragon, Portugal, Naples, Austria and Great Britain.
Imagine being Spanish in this alt universe. You find a bunch of "uncivilized" land to develop, and suddenly a Great Power pops up while you weren't looking.
When I played Arawak I was pissed at the mechanics and disabled conquest of paradise. I nocb’ed Lima and established power in Peru, but Castile settled near Colombia first and took aim at me. I feel that this was cheap anyway, and that it’s more legitimate to play around reform mechanics. That said, playing as a migratory tribe in SA seems quite difficult. At least with a North American federation you can acquire 500+ dev in the process. The Siberian tags somewhat count as native, but you can migrate once and get adjacency to other tribes, then nocb Manchuria or Indonesia. They don’t seem to be limited like colonial region natives.

Incredible luck that they didnt start colonizing in the brazil region first. You can reform out of the primitive government forms much sooner if you go take "Settle Down" and "Trading with Foreigners" reforms which will instantly convert you and your entire tribal lands to a merchant republic government type. You should be able to do that fairly consistently around 1500. Do NOT settle in though. The hard part is you'd have to fight the entire Tupi federation and claim a lot of their tribal lands in the Brazil region. As soon as the "Trading with Foreigners" reforms become available select to "Settle" in a province adjacent to the colonial regions and select the reform and Puff - you have a significant nation.
