This is a great song from a great band. He sang on Viper, Shaman and Avantasia. R.I.P. Andre Matos. Shane, here's another request: "Losers" from Detenté from the Recognize No Authority album. The fury and strength with which Dawn Crosby sings is incredible.
I'm brazilian so I know Angra very well. This band was set together from a union of two projects. Andre Mattos the lead singer was already a sucess with Viper at Japan. And Rafael Bittencourt the "2nd guitarrist" in fact was the composer of this song Time, among many other very great songs, was his specialty. Then the band released the next album Fireworks and split up. Andre Mattos (that passed away a recently), Luis Mariutti (bass) and Ricardo Confessori (Drums), left the band to form a new one: Shaman (you should check out Fairy Tale and For Tomorrow songs). Kiko Loureiro (now megadeath solo guitarrist), and Rafael stay on Angra with the manager, and build a new lineup, the best of all time: Edu Falaschi (Lead Singer), Felipe Andreoli (Bass) and Aquiles Priester (Drums), to the new album Rebirth (Check Rebirth, Acid Rain, Heroes of The Sun, Millenium Sun, Nova Era and Bleeding Heart), this album is pure gold!! This formation was the first picture you put in your edition Falaschi was one of the greatest voices then, but he suffered from his stomach and completely lost his voice and needed to quit the band at Rock and Rio (last show). Aquiles was the greatest drummer in the world at this time, but with an horrible attitude, disrespecting everyone that works with him, but to be fair, Rafael also had differences with everyone. So after this the band sign a new lead singer Fabio Lione (italian), a new drummer Bruno Valverde (which was a young "old fan", very talented) and Marcelo Barbosa (owner of a musical school) THE guitarrist to fill Kiko big shoes. By the way The first power chord leading to 5th+ and 6th is the charm of this music
Dude PTSD on Days of Our Lives. My Mom would make me watch the show with her when I was home sick. Still think it was a punishment for me being home disrupting her day. And my wife watches the dang show too. I go running to the basement when she's watching it. It's my safe place.
When I was 4 or 5 years old (before I started kindergarten), every weekday my mom would get together with our across-the-street neighbor who had a daughter about my age, while my dad and her husband were at work. They would go through a pot of coffee and a pack of cigarettes as they watched Days of Our Lives and The Doctors (which had a character named Althea!), while "us kids" played with our Barbies. Kind of odd memories....and in retrospect, I am not so sure we were being properly supervised but whatever. 😸 I was an All My Children, One Life to Live, and General Hospital person in my own young adult, soap watching days.....
The opening sequence and all the white shirt moments looked, sounded, and felt like an infomercial for Harlequin romance novels (and one guy is actually named Fabio?????), with a just a dash of a plug for Irish Spring body wash. (Manly, yes, but......ummmmmm......I may need to question my sexuality.....) When the song picked up, I thought it had a little bit of a Triumph vibe musically....vocally, it was like if Bruce Dickinson and Geoff Tate had a kid. I am coming off a 20 oz. cherry vanilla macchiato so this viewing and assessment feels a little compromised by a classic caffeine crash! 😸💥☕
André Matos 🖤🤘🔥
Very good my friend

That started off suckily and then got really good

It was Andre Mattos, one of the greatest metal vocalists to live on earth, unfortunately he passed away last year
Are these songs you have to listen to pranks or something?
