With our tree finally up, we were feeling festive and ready to soak up some holiday cheer… sooo we headed to the Christkindlmarket in Aurora! 🎄✨
But, as life goes, plans don’t always go as expected. 😂 We adjusted on the fly and ended up discovering a true hidden gem - Borikén Restaurant, a cozy Puerto Rican spot attached to a gas station.
And let me tell you - this place blew us away. From the warm, welcoming vibes to one of the tastiest mofongos we’ve tried in Chicagoland, Borikén is a must-visit for anyone craving authentic Puerto Rican food. 🌴🍴
