However if someone did breach it, it's not the museum that has the issue, it's the artwork's owner. And the museum can't do anything to find out the who the owner can sue. It's also worth noting that copyright does not extend to sculptures and three dimensional structures such as buildings that can be seen from a public view point. So a statue can be photographed when it's on public view.
Reminding public servants they are OUR servants is a duty of citizens. Lately they appear to have confused been a servant with been our masters. Quite clearly, we must remind them and ask them "Are you a public servant"
Snig Hill got its name from a wedge that hung on chains behind a horse drawn vehicle wheels, if the horse slipped or faulted the wedge would wedge rear wheel stopping it. The Peace Gardens are very much a triumph of urban landscape design. Very traditional materials with lots of lovely but simple carvings with raised grass areas making it difficult for people to walk across and wear it out.

But I won't disagree that Sheffield has it's fair share of bad apples walking the streets. But honestly up the sticks bridge/ deepcar way I think it's actually really nice. Beautiful scenery and lots of places to go for a walk without fear of stepping in human crap and being followed by freaks.
The rule is: whatever you can see from a public place - that's the rule! So, if that means inside a building ... then so be it. Basic! Shame more people don;t know (or pretend not to know) that !
