Hi everyone, yet again another Heathrow visit, this time round I'm filming departures which is something I don't do all that too often. Conditions weren't ideal due to the lighting and the hazy mist. But the mist present made for some brilliant wing condensation!
Quite a few interesting movements in this one as well including my first capture of a United aircraft in the new colours at 37:45. Personally I'm a big fan of United's new livery. It was also nice to see some of the newer A350 operators at Heathrow - Those being British Airways and Virgin Atlantic. Both of whom's livery suit the A350 very well in my opinion
Other planes seen in this compilation include: Virgin A340-600, 787-9's and A330's, United 777's, 787-8 and 767's, Qantas 787-9, Turkish Airlines 777, Thai Airbus A380, British Airways 747's, 777's and 787's, American Airlines A330's, 777's and 787-9, Etihad A380 wearing 'Choose London' livery, Singapore Airlines 777 and A380, Delta A330's and 767-400's, Air Canada 787-9's, Qatar A380, Finnair A350-900, Air India 787 and also many more
I did include 2 narrowbody aircraft, being a KLM Boeing 737-800 and an Air Malta A320 NEO. Those are the only 2 otherwise the rest of the video is pure widebodies

I remember spotting back in the 80s, you couldn't hear anything over the sound of the planes.
Now you can't hear the planes over the sound of everything else.

Well, the introduction of the Quota Count system to reduce airplane noise pretty much ended the use of airliners with lower-bypass engines at Heathrow, Gatwick and Stansted airports.

I saw G-CIVB in that shot! The 3 retro liveries at British Airways are absolutely stunning! I’ve however yet to get all 3 in one single plane spotting day 😂

Those are not Trent 800s, the Boeing 777 200ER is powered by the General Electric GE90 or they are powered by the Pratt and Whitney PW4000

Funny how looks like they gave the BA A350-1000 its reg No. (G-XWBB) after the engine model (Rolls Royce XWB).
@Jorge, perhaps a reference to the Airbus model designation A350 XWB (extra wide body)
Am I the only one who felt some of the 777-200ERs {especially the Trent 800 powered ones} were with a bizarrely low throttle/thrust?
