I think Ghostboo was chilling. I think as he described it, the part that's fading is ranboo's soul, the part of him that was stuck somewhere else. But maybe it can briefly manifest in his own house, kinda like how schlatt could in a cave? He said that eventually if the soul fades, there is no coming back. So that's what he meant. The soul is fading. Ghostboo, the mind, the unfeeling remnant can just exist, but his soul is going to fade soon if nobody brings him back. Then he really will be dead.
It makes sense, unlike Wilbur and Ghostbur, Ranboo and Ghostboo aren't as resilient. Ranboo can't take as much as Wilbur could, although the roles seem to be switched. Ranboo's emotional side is in Limbo, and his mind is the Ghost, meanwhile Revivebur in Limbo was the Mind, and Ghostbur was Wilbur's emotions.

You noticed that when Ranboo planned his death, he said that his ghost would be called Boo. But Aimsey calls him Ran. Ran Boo. Ran is the one who is now in this world, the mind. He sees what's going on with his friends and can explain it all in words, but he can't help, because he doesn't know how. Boo is the Ranboo's soul, who is stuck in limbo. He wants to support his friends, but can't contact them.

I wanna talk about the last bit. I was pausing to read it and it seems that Ghostboo is able to talk to Ranboo via a book. (memory book?? They found a way to communicate somehow which means it also might work the other way around with Wilbur and Ghostbur. I can answer 2 of those questions 1. The reason no one has tried reviving ranboo is well out of character most of them aren’t doing lore streams right now. But in character dream is the only one who can revive people and most people who would want Ranboo alive again aren’t on good terms with dream. The only one who likes ranboo and is in good terms with dream is techno. So they can’t really do anything unless they can find and convince dream to do it. 2. Michael was rescued in a techno and tubbo stream in which they went to eret since he new where Michael was. Together they went to Sam’s island and found Michael and then locked sam in the prison for a bit and there was like a week of lore for him and dream who came back to hide in the prison.
Only Dream and Punz know how to revive people and tbh, no one would try to even go near Dream. Out of everyone, Ranboo wants to protect not just Michael, but also Tubbo (he even gave up his 2nd life for him) Michael was rescued by Tubbo, Techno, and Eret and was brought to his house near Techno and Phil's house.
Ranboo is also trying to protect his soul by avoiding these kinds of events since as he said if his soul experiences too much it’ll fade and his soul and mind can never reconnect and he’ll be dead forever.

What if the whole soul and mind being separated is true for all ghosts. we can see it in ghostbur and revivebur too. when Wilbur died, he was in an emotional mindset, wrapped up in the idea of his symphony and in the middle of a fit of insanity when he told Phil to kill him. this could've been what led to the emotional side of him (ghostbur) being left behind. ranboo's mind remained because he made a logical decision when Sam killed him: he chose between his life and Michael's. a decision he made with his mind, rather than his soul. Building on that, we could say that how quickly the counterpart in limbo fades is related to their effect on the living world, or how much said person is mourned. Wilbur's death was given much more attention, while after Sam was imprisoned Ranboo's death was kind of ignored. and maybe it isn't actually Ranboo's soul that is fading, but rather the connection between the two, meaning that there is a lower chance of the two being able to combine again upon revival, like what happened to Ghostbur and Revivebur (the logical, more emotionally detached counterpart of ghostbur). maybe Tommy did have a ghost, just one that wasn't discovered, because the two parts of his being were reunited before their bond was too far gone.

Like c!Ranboo's logic for not being revived is flawed, because even IF and I mean IF people try, there is only ONE person who can revive him and that person is literally hated by most of the server and in hiding. Although, there is only one person that Ranboo knows that could ask that person to revive Ranboo, but did he even ask, because if he didn't, then of course no body is gonna try to revive him.

I think the soul of the dead will still exist, but that doesn't mean it will last forever. Their souls will eventually fade away, merging into the universe.
6:12 first of all, what was that noise that he made. And second I have a theory So lots of people talked about how if Ranboo was revived he would split into the two different parts. These different parts were thought to be a enderman and a something else, but even if it is that I think there is something more. The soul that is trapped is the enderman, and what do we know from takes of the SMP the enderman is Ran. When Ranboo became a ghost however he went by the name Ghostboo or boo. Boo is the mind, and the white half. A ghost. And Ran is the soul that is trapped. Just a theory.
That's what I'm saying, did he even ask him? Because let's be real, the reason no one has tried to help him is because they either can't or choose not to, since the only person that can revive him is enemy #1. So logically, Techno is and should be the only one that can help him, but even then it's not 100% certain.

Ok I have a big theory about ranboo and this might be one step closer to proving it I think ranboo was the time traveler mentioned in the newest tales from the smp I think he came back like he always did but forgot about himself being a time traveler and now he’s stuck here in the past and he’s now fading away because the time has come to be reborn as normal it will be a origin story a sustained time loop/ paradox with him doing whatever he does in the future then. Traveling to the past to forget who he is and live out what he has on his current time on the smp.

So... Ghostboo is the mind... Ranboo is currently the soul (by default both). Do you think this apply to other ghosts too? What's up with Ghostbur, Glatt, Wilbur, Schlatt, Mexican Dream and ghost Mexican Dream? (I can't think of if there is other ghosts too), is Glatt even canon?
There’s also Ghost Mexican Dream, who appeared at some point in one of Tommy’s streams.

I can answer 2 of those questions
1. The reason no one has tried reviving ranboo is well out of character most of them aren’t doing lore streams right now. But in character dream is the only one who can revive people and most people who would want Ranboo alive again aren’t on good terms with dream. The only one who likes ranboo and is in good terms with dream is techno. So they can’t really do anything unless they can find and convince dream to do it.
2. Michael was rescued in a techno and tubbo stream in which they went to eret since he new where Michael was. Together they went to Sam’s island and found Michael and then locked sam in the prison for a bit and there was like a week of lore for him and dream who came back to hide in the prison.
Only Dream and Punz know how to revive people and tbh, no one would try to even go near Dream.
Out of everyone, Ranboo wants to protect not just Michael, but also Tubbo (he even gave up his 2nd life for him)
Michael was rescued by Tubbo, Techno, and Eret and was brought to his house near Techno and Phil's house.
Ranboo is also trying to protect his soul by avoiding these kinds of events since as he said if his soul experiences too much it’ll fade and his soul and mind can never reconnect and he’ll be dead forever.
I think techno was thinking about talking to dream for reviving ranboo because techno has a still a favor open by dream

What if the whole soul and mind being separated is true for all ghosts.
we can see it in ghostbur and revivebur too. when Wilbur died, he was in an emotional mindset, wrapped up in the idea of his symphony and in the middle of a fit of insanity when he told Phil to kill him. this could've been what led to the emotional side of him (ghostbur) being left behind.
ranboo's mind remained because he made a logical decision when Sam killed him: he chose between his life and Michael's. a decision he made with his mind, rather than his soul.
Building on that, we could say that how quickly the counterpart in limbo fades is related to their effect on the living world, or how much said person is mourned. Wilbur's death was given much more attention, while after Sam was imprisoned Ranboo's death was kind of ignored.
and maybe it isn't actually Ranboo's soul that is fading, but rather the connection between the two, meaning that there is a lower chance of the two being able to combine again upon revival, like what happened to Ghostbur and Revivebur (the logical, more emotionally detached counterpart of ghostbur). maybe Tommy did have a ghost, just one that wasn't discovered, because the two parts of his being were reunited before their bond was too far gone.
And that proves ranboo is the main character in the smp

Like c!Ranboo's logic for not being revived is flawed, because even IF and I mean IF people try, there is only ONE person who can revive him and that person is literally hated by most of the server and in hiding. Although, there is only one person that Ranboo knows that could ask that person to revive Ranboo, but did he even ask, because if he didn't, then of course no body is gonna try to revive him.

And second I have a theory
So lots of people talked about how if Ranboo was revived he would split into the two different parts. These different parts were thought to be a enderman and a something else, but even if it is that I think there is something more. The soul that is trapped is the enderman, and what do we know from takes of the SMP the enderman is Ran. When Ranboo became a ghost however he went by the name Ghostboo or boo. Boo is the mind, and the white half. A ghost. And Ran is the soul that is trapped.
Just a theory.

That's what I'm saying, did he even ask him? Because let's be real, the reason no one has tried to help him is because they either can't or choose not to, since the only person that can revive him is enemy #1. So logically, Techno is and should be the only one that can help him, but even then it's not 100% certain.

Ok I have a big theory about ranboo and this might be one step closer to proving it I think ranboo was the time traveler mentioned in the newest tales from the smp I think he came back like he always did but forgot about himself being a time traveler and now he’s stuck here in the past and he’s now fading away because the time has come to be reborn as normal it will be a origin story a sustained time loop/ paradox with him doing whatever he does in the future then. Traveling to the past to forget who he is and live out what he has on his current time on the smp.
