came here from your previous video, i hope it is not too late to say welcome to malaysia! ❤ honestly, the way you praised msia a lot even in your prev video almost made me tear up, i guess it's nice to see the perspective of someone from another country, especially a muslim like you! hope you'll enjoy your stay here and if you get the chance to experience the other cities in msia, grab it! ✨️
0:44 Hi, just a small correction, they are Malaysians of Indian descent or ethnicity. They are not just residing in Malaysia (as this word would be more accurate to describe perhaps expats from India rather than the generations of Malaysian Indians who were born & bred here). Malaysia is after all a multicultural, multiethnic & multi religion country ❤ Anyways, Welcome to Malaysia & hope you enjoy your time here 🎉
as a UPM student, I'm genuinely liked your vlogs. Keep posting contents like this. I'm sure that with your limited time here in MY, you will gain so many new experiences with new people everyday. Some day might be hard but some may be so good. Enjoy every moment and don't forget to record as many vid as you can >< PS: You should try go to Bukit Ekspo in UPM especially in the evening to chill and relax, the view is lovely tho..
i think like you're going to the "top notch" first cause putrajaya is literally the administration state that's why it's a cool place :)) would recommend you to go cameron highland and genting highland too!
Ahhh!! Welcome to Malaysia! It’s so nice to see this POV from an international exchange student studying IN Malaysia, as I’m international student studying abroad in Australia trying to document my life here in aus as well! All the best for your studies and I hope you enjoy your time there!
I'm currently in high school and my dream is to attend uni in Malaysia. My top choice is Taylor University and InShaAllah I will go there, I pray that every one of you who wants to study there can come too
I think for food, the local and common go tos are Mamak, Tomyam, Chinese Muslim restaurants and order whatever there you find good. For specific must haves are laksa, laksam, ckt, mi udang and sate. For household/kampung dishes it's any protein + masak lemak cili, masak asam, masak sambal/merah and curry. A lot but choose what you find and have fun!
@@etsyfilms it would be a disservice to not mention our evening snacks like cendol (pulut is the best), ABC, rojak, and a variety of any kuih you find appealing along with any kind of tea. Hard to find in urban places but goodluck!
I actually found you from the video mentioned at 5:37, while I do prefer long-form videos, you should definitely make your clips into shorts as a part of documenting all of your exchange experience! Really looking forward to more of your content, enjoy your time in M'sia to the fullest
welcome to malaysia. as someone who works quite close, I recognized most of places seen in your vlog. let me know if you need help/recommendation on anything and I'll try my best to help
You should go PICC Iron Mosque and Alamanda in Putrajaya . Time square also in KL ! It's so amazing and wonderful ✨ also trying to visit genting highland and cameron highland . It's peaceful and cold place to go !
If u want to run away from the heat, visit genting highlands. It's cool and fun up there. It has a beautiful temple too on the way there with cable car, and it's for free.
Hi!! welcome to Malaysia! Glad that you enjoy itt. Please do visit Shah Alam! We have japanese garden, called taman persahabatan Jepun-Malaysia alongside a massive park with various activities. There’s also one of the biggest mosque in Malaysia here, the Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah mosque!
apply for longer course and sponsorship, do serious YT contents , with face and conversation to camera, make the most of it, you re still young, In sya Allah
Niceeee! I'm glad you are comfortable in Malaysia :D If you're free and hungry for adventures you can go to Perak, Pahang and visit lots of fun places [beaches etc], and if you're looking for a historical state you can visit Melaka, it's super nice there [Jonker walk, Selat mosque, taming sari, river cruise, kota e'famosa and more] and if you want to visit a peaceful village life with SUPER cheap foods, paddy fields and etc you can visit the northern part of Peninsula Malaysia, I recommend you to go to Kedah because that's where I'm at LOL, you can visit Terengganu for beautiful beaches, and you can also go to Sabah [hiking on the highest mountain in south east Asia, gunung kinabalu or mount kinabalu] and Sarawak too! There's plenty of beautiful places to go and I recommend you to visit all of it LOL
Ma Sha Allah tysm for this recommendation!! i am alr making a list of places i wanna explore here in malaysia and i’m telling you this was very helpful! i’ve been to melaka already alhamdulillah and you’re right, it’s a very nice place (except that it was soo excruciatingly hot there) but i’m rlly planning to go pahang, ipoh and penang soon In Sha Allah. indeed, malaysia has a lot of places to offer. i’m deeply hoping i’ll get to explore all of these places you’ve mentioned. 🥹🥹 terima kasih!
Hey, glad you're having fun here in Malaysia, despite being away from your home country. Please do enjoy your time here and have a blast! I live nearby UPM sri kembangan. you should try Nasi dagang Terengganu for breakfast, together with Keropok lekor Terengganu as well. my favourite place would be Kedai Makang, Cyberjaya. Also, don't forget to take a stroll at Tangga Putrajaya!
I'm a 2nd year med student in Germany and saw that our university offers an exchange program at the Putra university. At first I thought of Malaysia as a not so great country but after watching this video I am longing to do an exchange semester there. The reason that the other exchange universities also didn't interest is because they were non-muslim countries. I would be happy if you could do a video in which you talk about: - Expenses (Cost of living, daily expenses etc.) - Social activities - A little more about the Campus - And so on Thanks in advance
Salam.. i dont know how youtube suggest me your channel, but somehow i enjoyed it. 😅 Anyways, if you decide to come to kedah for sightseeing, will be happy to be your guide.. 😁 hope you have a wonderful stay in Malaysia.
maybe you can try local food like laksa, laksam, mee kari, masak lemak cili padi, asam pedas, tomyam and kuih like apam balik, putu mayam, putu piring, kuih peniram, cucur udang...
salam and hello bae! i live around the area that you do (i recognised some landmarks) and i just wanna say that a 25 minute walk to your uni is definitely not safe for you in the long term. malaysia's weather is superrrr unpredictable and when the heat strikes, it can get worse for you so just take a grab to uni okie! also, our infrastructures are not very pedestrian-friendly :O and the area where you live in, there are also a lot of foreigners so i'm a bit worried for your safety! thank you for enjoying out little country. it means a lot to us that you see malaysia in a positive light. it's not perfect, but there are some things worth enjoying. also! here are some recommended places for you to go: 1. national art gallery (if you wanna know more about malaysian culture, i definitely recommend to go here! their art exhibition changes from time to time but rn they're having an art exhibition about nusantara culture) 2. if you're done with the art gallery above you can just walk to this park called taman tasik titiwangsa (recently renovated, i havent been there yet myself) 3. if you wanna shop for some local stuff - other than pasar seni can drop by Kompleks Kraf Jalan Conlay all stated places are within the KL area, given that you have limited time here in malaysia. have a good one!
wa alaykumussalam! i appreciate you for taking time to comment this, i’ll make sure to explore these places you’ve recommended In Sha Allah. May Allah bless you 💗💗
try get a bicycle sister . the cheapest one maybe . for ride from mrt to your campus 🤣. u can safely park at mrt putrajaya . not really sure but i think those place are very safe .
Take a walk around 'Kampung Baru' if you want to see village houses near the twin towers. Nice view of the Saloma Bridge at night & the main road inside the village has a stretch of restaurants/stalls. It has its own RapidKL underground station 'Kampung Baru' 😎
I bet if you come to Sabah you wont feel out of place. Same as from PH we also have Bajau/Badjao, Tausug/Suluk and also Visaya tribes. Some are native but some of them migrated from PH to Sabah. Most of them reside in Kota Kinabalu, Tawau and Semporna.
yess i did consider getting one but i thought it might be too pricey for me as i’m financially not yet settled. but then moving on campus was a good move since i won’t need the scooter anymore hahaa
I appreciate it more when people took the time to blur every face, especially strangers. She's being considerate;if you don't appreciate her kindness just move along (not to mention her protecting her own self is apparently an affront to you, such a disgusting male entitlement). Just because we are out and about in public doesn't mean we want it broadcasted to the whole wide world. 10001 reasons to protect privacy, yet she shouldn't have to give any.
hi! thanks for making time to comment this. blurring my face is my personal boundary as to what i show on the internet. if you have a problem with that then feel free to leave my channel and not watch my contents. it’s as simple as that
She’s filipino so the vlog style is different, in ph you need to blur/not showing ppl face for their privacy and if you’re watching typical vlog in ph this kind of vlog is common to them like just showing your daily activities not the face.
