    Hi Earl, I felt the same about the no penalty portion of the “”illegal
    break “. I think it has been changed since
    2020. Or maybe only in the US., but the breaker can no longer
    roll if the opponent passes.
    Great job Earl!
    Thanks Billiard Network….

    I have played on these tables too. Earl is right the rails are faster than average, the cloth too. You tend to play slower on them. But I found that is not the way to play. Stun shots work rolling the ball works. And topspin slows the ball down on the rails.

      Earl still gets haunted by Reyes. Imagine Earls accomplishments if Efren wasn’t around?

    • @tuglife5322
      @tuglife5322 3 роки тому +1

      @@co7366 Reyes is really important to Pool, therefore to Earl too. The fact that brilliant Pearl is a better shooter (most important aspect in the game) than the greatest player to ever hold a cue stick in any cue sport game, only dignifies Earl even more who for me is the 9ball GOAT, and could be on more modalities if he played them or if they were more played. Unfortunately the game couldnt reach a more professional status, that would have benefitted Earl who is a real player

    Earl, your commentary is completely predicting shots having to often change comments because they are wrong with no comments made on the shooting itself which is what commentators are suppose to do, aren't they?

    • @billiardnetwork
      @billiardnetwork  3 роки тому

      there is no law as to what commentators are supposed to do. this series is about giving Earl a space to air his opinions about the game and the players of the moment. pool is mostly about choosing the right shot, this is not about Earl calling it but more about whether they are choosing the right shot

    Speaking of the Billiards Network, I just wish Earl with his connections in the Billiard Network would say something on how bad and unfair alternate breaking is to the sport of 9 ball pool. I made so many attempts to find a game WITHOUT the alternate break format so I could see Zielinski run racks which I know he can do if it was winner break, but I couldn't find any. However, I did make my thoughts and concerns about alternate breaking known to the Billiard Network and do you know what their return answer was back to me? It was, "It is what it is." Can you believe a comment like that? Well, for me it worked. I won't make anymore comments to them in the future.

    • @billiardnetwork
      @billiardnetwork  3 роки тому +1

      Danny...it is what it is...players travel for days to play in some events and for them to go out without a chance it is unfair. we get your point that for the viewers it is most enjoyable to watch players run racks, but promoters also have to consider players thoughts. so....it is what it is. we are not promoters to most of the videos we post. we have a plan for an invitational events that has winner breaks as a rule of play. don t be so negative about it.
