- This was our 3rd annual lad's trip, we had to change the trip location which saw us soaking up the sunshine in Kaikoura for most of it and we were stoked to get a good feed of sea food & venison over the 8 days.
This time round I decided to make a video of the trip using my new camera #sonyzve10 and footage from my #goprohero9 .
Best watched in HD
Hope you enjoy

Good work Robbie great video
As an oldy I don't get out as often as I used to, I haven't hunted that area.
I've thought about it as I know there are a few goats and they and fallow
are my go to hunt animal.
As a hunter myself, I enjoy watching video's like yours and I'm always
interested in calibre of the rifle and the distances being shot!
Maybe next time please.
Thank you for sharing guys.
@richardt.4224 Hey, I'm not sure if there are fallow in that part of the Seawards. My mate was using a 7mm 08 and shot was at 400m.
@robbiegray261 yes you are right, no fallow, as I checked out the Hapuka hunting block, but the goats are always of interest. I shot and culled a poor antler red a few weeks ago from 355yd with my trusty 243win and it dropped on it feet fortunately as it was at the top of a large scree slope.
The 7mm08 is a nice round, but a little punchy for me!
Thanks for the reply 👍
Chur bro some meke content keep up the good mahi Jst subscribed
