After reading “Clash of Empires” Makedon has to be my favourite ancient kingdom/Empire second only to Rome
As for pronunciation, in modern..English I guess, it would have an “S” sound for the C, but in Greek and Classical Latin (unless it could have changed and be different in Greek though, it has been a couple thousand years after all) it’d be a “K” like sound, funny thing is, places like Corinth and all that, anything that to us starts with a C, would start with a K in Greek, cuz why not.

If we're gonna be accurate, it's pronounced "Maa-keh-dho-knee-aa" with the "dh" being a soft "d" or almost a "t".
That makes it a bit harder for people to understand though so I just say, Makedo-knee-a which is a comfortable line between understandable and accurate to the language.

and it's pronounced E-tow-le-an league...why, I have no idea but the internet has never lied before...
I think Nabetea would be a cool campaign. Forging an Arabian centric empire maybe focusing on the Arabian peninsula and then expanding into the east Rashidun Caliphate style.
Also rise of the republic as the samnites. The best Italian tribe.
Also the Macedonians were from the area that they start with in the game. When Philip II conquered the northern provinces he named a city after him, Philippopolis modern day Plovdiv.

Glad you started this campaign !!! To help you out a bit with the pronunciations, wherever you see a C in Greek its K and Aetolia sounds like Et-Olia, the last part Olia sounds like a woman's name. As for some trivia, Aetolia is the west region of Central Greece, so small city states unified in a federation, so there you have what Aetolian League means.
It's "Seleukids", the realm was named after Seleucus the first. No one in their right mind would pronounce his name as "Seleusos" rather than "Seleukos"

I'm currently about 50 turns into a Seleucid campaign, the only thing that really sucks about Pikes is that they don't do very well on top of a wall. I use my pipes to go in through the gates that I break down so that they can actually form their Pike wall and go. They get on topnof a wall and they just fight with swords...no good there so spear or melee infantry is a must to get on top of the wall, I isually rock 5-6 pikes...great episode as always M8....
Rome 2 with divde emperium mod is better more rosters , cites its harder and tons of fun.

Hello, I just installed the mod, it worked for a while, then when I enter the battle, it quits the game. I turned off the mods I was using, I entered it again, and when I enter the battle again, it quits the game. What should I do?

macedonia is and was greek
romans pronounced it as maKedon because for them the c could only be a k instead of a s or a k. Therefor some people use the ancient roman version with a K and some people say macedon with a modern translation.

I am so confused, how can empires like Baktria be of Makedonian culture , where Makedon is a Hellenic culture Empire, i understand how Pontus is in Eastern empires and is Hellenic but whats the differention of culture in this mod based on xD
Baktria was an eastern (Persian sorta) region, but it was taken into Macedonia during Alexander's time. After his death the Seleucids annexed it, and thus its culture is heavily Hellenized, like many such regions. It declared independence eventually.
