I want to share with you here a sweet moment from Hasidic Williamsburg - an elderly man commenting on my wearing red. It's a bit of loving teasing. ua-cam.com/video/L5vrGtSAQzA/v-deo.htmlsi=t_MbopBznPa-VVi_ And to those who asked, here's again the link to the post with the Belgian model: friedavizel.com/2019/05/24/a-naked-playboy-model-in-hasidic-williamsburg/

The following quote by Flemming Rose comes to mind: "When I visit a mosque, I show my respect by taking off my shoes. I follow the customs, just as I do in a church, synagogue or other holy place. But if a believer demands that I, as a nonbeliever, observe his taboos in the public domain, he is not asking for my respect, but for my submission. And that is incompatible with a secular democracy."
This video, once again, shows what a beautiful person you are Frieda❣️You showed yourself very open, honest and vunerable❤You are such a soft-spoken, respektful and kind person. You have shown that over the years in your videos... and the people you deal with on a personal level experience your respectful attitude, your deep rooted knowledge of this way of life that you used to be a part of. I also sense a deep gratitude for your family and the way you were raised. The people you meet can feel all of these qualities, that are far above and beyond the (non-offensive, non- provocative) clothing that you wear. You have such a deep understanding of your roots and your identity now. People feel that, people respect that Frieda. Everyone wants to be liked /loved for who they really are - and I applaud you for the courage of showing your true colors - to the community and to everyone watching your videos🎉
As a chassidic jew from williamsburg i can tell you that you are very respectful and mindful of not offending anyone in the community. The sights we see on an almost daily basis have no one batting an eye lash. You dress like a rebitzin in comparison. Ignore the critics and keep up your great work! We love your videos.
As a young black woman who happens to be Jewish. Freida Never argue with fools. They will drag you down to their level and beat you with experience. Love your work ❤

Hi Frieda! I'm an African American who knows nothing about the hasidic community and I have no idea how your videos popped up on my feed...I find you to be extremely respectful and professional during your videos..I've learned soon much about this rather insular religious group. I cannot even imagine how difficult it must have been leaving a lifestyle & culture you have known most of your life and commend your courage & strength Thank you! for sharing your wide breadth of knowledge and insight.. May God bless & keep you.. 🙏❤
Frieda, you are very polite and dress for who you are. You still dress more conservative than most westerners. You should be treated with the same respect and empathy that you provide. You have helped so many understand such a secret society.
Thank you! For a long time I felt there was no reason to explain. I still feel that I shouldn't have to justify such a complicated and personal decision. But thought perhaps to those who won't judge, it will be illuminating.
Dear Frieda, I am a person with very little former knowledge of the Hasidic community and no exposure whatsoever. I have learned so much from you, and this includes developing a respect for the customs and culture of the community. I can only imagine the nuanced path you traveI as you work to educate your viewers. I appreciate your honesty. Though you are under no obligation whatsoever to provide any explanations, you have helped me to further my understanding, and I thank you and appreciate your work and wisdom.
@@FriedaVizelBrooklyn It was! Very much so! This is the first of your videos I've seen, so I'm not familiar with any of the issues, but my impression is that you are are a VERY caring, very intelligent, and very respectful person who cares enough to have chosen to try to explain the Hasidic community to others. That's a wonderful thing! And my first impression is that you do a wonderful job. Your words were so very well thought out. That alone shows a great deal of respect to the community. I've travelled a little, so of course I've entered churches, synagogues, and mosques, and I did try to dress respectfully there and in public places, but I hadn't thought the issue through in depth. What you said about how the need to be respectful doesn't mean you need to dress the same as them really struck me. Of course it doesn't. I'm sure most of them understand it. The might prefer it if we all did dress as they do all of the time, but they probably are realistic enough to know it won't happen, so are probably reasonably content to see that a person has made an effort to avoid being really offensive to them. I think That's how most reasonable people are, and there's no reason to think they are any different. Thank you for going further and explaining how your situation is different than mine as a gentle. I admit that as an atheist I do have some prejudices against all organized religions, but they don't extend to the people who I see as being caught up in them. I believe nearly all people of all backgrounds are good. I like people in general, and I'm interested in what makes them tick. That naturally includes the Jewish faith, and the people in it who have endured so much, and still continue to do so. I will watch more of your videos, and hopefully learn more about them. You have sparked a stronger interest in me. So many things compete for our time, but I will gladly spend some of it with you. Thank you very much for your amazing insight!
Frieda, never compromise on your values just to please others. You have enlightened and educated the masses with your eye-opening and relevant vignettes on the Ultraorthodox Jewish community. Never complain, never explain. Much respect!
My goodness, I’m so sorry you get those kinds or reactions Frieda! As someone who has also left a faith (not the Jewish faith but Islam) I find that you are INCREDIBLY respectful. Especially the first couple of years after I left my faith I really couldn’t muster up the strength to be respectful of that faith that had hurt me so much. The fact that you show us all facets of Hasidism with such enthusiasm and respect amazes me. I’ve never felt you were disrespectful at all.
@philomenaSK I feel like its often the ppl in the religions that create issues as opposed to the religion itself. Those that discriminate against us often are far from perfect themselves and try to project their negativity on to others to hurt them. This is not a religious issue its a community issue withon the religion.
Frieda - I have learned so much from your videos and have always been impressed by how RESPECTFUL you are toward people you disagree with. Don’t stop being yourself!
Dearest Frieda, you have brought alive a culture few of us have seen and respect . Whilst in NY because of your channel, I asked my son in law to take me to Williamsburg for a bagel. My son in law, an American, was amazed. I could explain to him certain things he saw because of your channel. I’m from South Africa and going to Williamsburg was something on my bucket list. That would never have been without your channel. Btw the bagel at Williamsburg Bagel was everything I could imagine. The lox and cream cheese sublime. Please continue with the work you do. We so appreciate you and the kind, respectful way you inform us. 😊
YOU ARE NOT DISRESPECTFUL!!!! You are still tastefully dressed and modest. I think you're amazing in showing us and sharing the ways of the Hasidic community and helping to bring understanding to all of us and love for the Jewish people. As an Afro-American, Christian woman I say, " KEEP DOING WHAT YOU'RE DOING!"
Frieda I accept you just the way you are. You are doing just fine. If anything I see you as being so respectful, good for you. I understand your heart. Keep up the great work😊
How are you disrespectful??? What kind of nonsense is that!! You are such a good person and have done nothing wrong, my dear Frieda! Don't let those rude people get to you - you look great and your videos are very, very tasteful! You are not disrespectful at all! You keep doing what you do, and you do such a great job. 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
Frieda i love your channel, as jews we get criticism from our own community and from outside our community and you just have to disregard any negativity because only Hashem has the right to judge us ❤ if the Torah had been written in 2024 it would be very different and ppl would still have problems with it and criticise us 🤦🏽♀️
😂What makes you think if the Tora was written in 2024 it wld be very different? Some are still keeping the ancient laws perfectly happily and many who haven't are deciding to start doing so now and some non Jews are even converting to be Able to have the privilege of keeping those ancient laws!!
@@Tali5899don’t make the laws more important than the faith in Hashem. There are only 10 laws and those are the Commandments. Everything else is commentary. What ever God creates is good, He said it himself. He gave us the 10 Commandments, He felt 10 was good. Complicating a thing doesn’t make it better. I notice more and more people, each year, walking away from strict religious communities such as; Amish Catholic Hasidic Orthodoxy of any kind And even some Protestant communities. Needing to belong is one thing but most of the time groups manipulate members into submission. If there were no one wanting to speak to Ms. Freida then she would move on, but as you can see, Ms. Pearl has lots to say.
Frieda thank you for sharing. I feel your insights may be helpful in many situations. I wish more people participated in introspection before they acted or spoke.
Dear Frieda- once again you educate and then allow yourself to be vulnerable on camera so that your viewers can understand your personal point of view. What a Kiddush HaShem those in the community perform when they accept you as you are now and show that they care for you as a person! I agree with you that education and discussion is key to understanding the differences that people have. If the Hasidic community cannot do this from within, then it needs you- who know both sides so well- to educate. Thank you again for the wonderful work you do.
You are doing a a beautiful service educating folks about a community that is very much sheltered. Especially now with everything going on and the hatred towards Jews, this work is more important than ever; people must learn about the Jewish faith including all sects. I am lucky I have some exposure having grown up in New York, and not until I left did I realize how much less exposure the rest of the country has to Jewish heritage and traditions! I think you are very respectful. 💜
You have such a way of speaking your heart. You bring tears to.my eyes. God bless and keep you. Thank you for your insight. Loved Pearls interviews. She to has a heart for God.
You know better than we do, what is respectful and what is not. Thank you so much for your videos and helping us learn about this community. Especially those of us who may never get to Brooklyn. I truly believe that if all people would learn about others there would be more understanding in this world. You do a wonderful job, Thank you so much.
Frieda, you are the epitome of how to treat others with respect. I also witnessed this when we joined your tour. You have nothing to feel bad about! I wish more people would be like you❤
Your kindness and respect shine through in every word you speak. Clothing is a uniform of identity that allows you to express where you would like to belong. As an orthodox Jewish woman I was told by friends in Kiryas Joel that no one would ever think I was a part of the community - no matter what I wore. Love your channel ❤
This is one of your best videos ever. Thank you for sharing your truth. Thank you for calling out true disrespect and teaching what real respect is. You are a gift, Frieda.
Thank you for your candor. You are so lovingly honest when you approach difficult, personal subjects on your channel. I've been watching you for about a year now, and I have to say that I have so much respect for you, what you do, and the way you do it.
Oh my! You are incredibly respectful! You have a beautiful heart and soul that glows! Your honest perspective and the way you tell your story builds bridges.
I’m sorry you have received such responses. I am so thankful that I found your channel. I’ve learned so much and I admire your ability to share your experiences in such a kind and positive way. Thank you.
You are the most respectful person I have encountered on UA-cam and in real life ! You are very very respectful ! It is so refreshing to see and listen to you and you are very modest !!!❤ I see you as a very intelligent kind and respectful woman with dignity and class .I would be so proud of you if you were my daughter or a daughter in law. It would wonderful if people were more like you Frieda .I am sure your dear son is very proud of what a wonderful woman, person and mother you are! Your son is a wonderful young respectful gentleman. I look at you as a very godly kind, modest and virtuous woman. ❤ I am so happy to see your kindness and UA-cam videos. So glad you are on here !!! We love you Frieda !!!😊💖
Whenever I hear about “modest” dress, especially when people showcase their own modesty, I think of the man who lost his humility medal because he wore it.
Dear frieda even though I live in a very closed hasdic sect ,I think as I have told you many times that your channel is fantastic, and you are a very open and honest person I love your videos my wife and I enjoy your content very much you most certainly are not disrespectful in anyway, keep up your good work koll tov
In my opinion, you are educational , informative, well informed, and treat the community with sincere sensitivity. I enjoy your videos. Keep up the great work. Kol Hakavod!
You are so respectful! I am so impressed with the respect you give to the community and to all who you interview and encounter. You are a fine person. Keep up the good work. I appreciate the work you do more than words can say.
As a satmar chusid, who grew up in Bklyn and who's currently living in the 10950 zip code... I appreciated your videos. I relate so much to your vidoes. I love my life and my community. And it's so fun to watch it thru your eyes! I don't see disrespect at all. Coming to the community dressed appropriately modest doesn't mean wearing the full chassidish style. Showing extensive cleavage and shorts w tank is inappropriate imo. But you always look very appropriate in your videos. Keep up the work. My friends and I REALLY enjoy it.
Hello I think this is Monroe. Question I see you are Satmar. I an guessing you access the internet in private? I have been in Williamsburg and met Satmar in upstate NY Just curious because of my reading of and interaction with Satmar women who generally avoid the internet. Thank you
This was such an interesting video. I feel you’ve always been very respectful with everything you do and say. People on the community wouldn’t communicate with you if they thought you are in anyway disrespectful. I acknowledge people will think differently and I praise you for making this video to recognise these people. But it feels to me like people are being picky and trying to go out of their way to find fault. You found kindness and love as you said in this video. Hold onto that and not the ‘keyboard worriers’ who only make themselves feel good by finding flaws in others. You warm my heart with every video, and I always look forward to seeing the next edition. You are doing an amazing job and in my eyes you pull it if perfectly. So much love and respect to you, From Suzi xxxx UK
I find you are very respectful & still informative which i appreciate. How will we ever learn anything about different communities/beliefs if not for people like you!
Freida, you are an absolute shining soul. I identify with you, coming from a Yeshivish family and figuring out my path and values. You have never once seemed disrespectful to me, in fact quite the opposite. You foster kindness and understanding in a thoughtful, gentle way. What a role model you are! Keep being you, and the fruits will continue to blossom.
Once again, you have proven yourself to be beautifully articulate, remarkably sensitive and most of all soul-full in your reflection. Being an insider versus an outsider is seen in many aspects and dimensions in our society. You mentioned the experience of a nurse being identified by her uniform. I have recently retired as a neonatologist where people in the hospital identified me for who I was by my scrubs "uniform with a stethoscope around my neck." How very different it is now when I visit my former intensive care unit out of uniform. I appreciate your thoughtful candor and your emotion. Yes, I think we all code switch to a degree when the situation calls for it, not with maliciousness or pretensiousness rather, out of respect and dignity. Thank you again for a beautiful and meaningful video. Greetings from Rapid City, South Dakota. Kol Hakavod.
When I watch your videos, I am struck by your honesty, integrity, awareness, and sensitivity. I have yet to see or hear anything that I would say is a chutzpa. I have wondered about your wearing pants when in the community, but only because it seems incongruent in light of your having grown up there. I am Chareidi in Israel (not Chassidish), and I have three girls "on their own path". In the beginning, when my oldest started dressing immodestly, I wondered how she could feel comfortable exposing herself as much as she did. Doesn't it feel strange? But I guess it feels liberating, both figuratively and physically. Wow, there is so much to each person's story and the story of each family, and really, everyone is doing their best, whether or not it looks like it.
I appreciate you sharing a bit of yourself. I know as a parent that it’s not easy always letting kids take their own paths. Kudos to you. I think some people are more comfortable baring skin than others, for whatever reason.
Thank you for taking the time to speak openly about respect vs. imitation. You are right not to dress just like the Hasidic women. But to show respect by not violating the rules for outsiders. They are showing respect by explaining what is expected. I always explained to my children the expectations of behavior/dress for any place we went.
Thank you Frieda. I started watching your videos a year ago & enjoy them as they are every informative and educational. I grew up in Brooklyn as a teen was very aware of Hasidic community though did not understand it until later in life having Jewish friends & family. I was raised Catholic & also wasib all girls classes when young. Clothing does speak volumes about the person. It's a shame that many don't have respect for others. I truly think the companies of bus tours are in error not informing those who visit as a 'tourist ' how to dress in being respectful to the community. Tourism obviously helps the community financially & there's the downside. I wish you well in your journey. May you stay safe & blessings to you and your wonderful son.
I live in Canada and am trying to think of a logical enough reason for me to come to NYC so that I can take one of your tours. You seem to have such a beautiful relationship with many many members of the community that you visit. You have obviously made a huge impact on others that you may have been unaware of but that silent impact is so much more authentic than the impact that is made by the biggest explosion. I love your story telling whether it be with Pearl or the shop keeper selling his wares to you.
Lol I'm the same. When they have run out of the Eskal pickles here in Sydney which are kosher and from Israel I'm always thinking "if I just catch a flight to Brooklyn I bet they'll have some". You don't need a logical reason. If I was childless, and didn't have responsibilities, the pickles would be good enough reason for me to go .
Thank you for sharing this. You’re so right about the importance and freedom of being your authentic self, as much as possible. I’m so glad that you have been able to build relationships and be accepted and appreciated as YOU. How much more special and meaningful that is. I also like how you turned around people somewhat negative comments into a positive story of the goodness of people. ❤
sorry frieda had to add another comment, just to say THANK YOU to you❤ i did mention it previously under another video but it's in part because of your channel that I returned to Judaism because I started to see the beauty in our culture / religion. This is thanks to you and your channel, and im sure there are also other jews who have felt a feeling of joy and reconnected to judaism through your channel ❤Hashem always leads us where we need to be ☺️
Fascinating, as always. I love how thoughtfully you speak and the elegant choice of words. You've definitely shown the beauty of the Hasidic community through your videos over the past couple of years. I understand you're just being your authentic self, and showing respect to the level that is expected and appreciated of outsiders. But it still reminds me a little of one of the things my grandmother used to complain about. She was a devout Roman Catholic, and always hated when the priest would face the congregation during mass as she thought that symbolized the priest was representing God to the people. She preferred the old style where the priest would face the altar, the same direction as the congregation, because she thought that symbolized the priest was representing the people before God. There's something similar there with your modern clothing, a sort of visual demonstration of the fact that you're not trying to portray yourself as a representative of the Hasidic community when you guide tours in the neighbourhood. You're there to work, and although you come from the community and have a wealth of insider knowledge, you're there as a representative of the outsiders in your tour group - and you go above and beyond to try to ensure they're able to respectfully visit and gain a small insight into what makes the community so interesting.
Yes very interesting analogy. And I can see why people like your grandma would have a problem with the “priest” not be “one of”, as in, my own being a step apart from the “congregation”. However, that distance gives me a kind of intellectual liberty that I wouldn’t otherwise have, so you win some and lose some.
I believe in honesty too!! And Frieda, you have more than a little chutzpah thank G.od. 😂 This is one of my favorite videos of yours so far. The deep impact of how we dress and what it means to us and our communities is something I’ve become more sensitive to over recent years. Your points really resonate with me! Thank you for everything you do, I can’t wait to see what’s coming next❤
Thank you Frieda, your videos opened the mind and the heart of so many viewers. You are doing a wonderful job in the most respectful way someone can imagine. Your work is of incredible importance 🙏🏻❤
You are so respectful to those you encounter that it is quite clear these messages were simply out of hatred for all. I have especially been blessed by your interactions with the elder Hasidic community. You would make an excellent teacher of the young. God bless you.
Miss Frieda, you be YOU. You worded this video so beautifully. I have seen many, many videos you’ve made and I have never seen you be disrespectful….actually, you are more respectful because YOU KNOW what that community will tolerate. It’s your career! Why would you jeopardize your work to wear a single garment they won’t accept! Please be you…..it’s exactly why you left that world! We love you, respect you and your work here is exceptional! 👍❤️🌹🌹🌹🌹❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
I've taken your tour a few times with friends bc you taught us so many lessons. You are a beautiful kind strong woman we need at this divisive time in the world. Thank you Frieda.
I appreciate your very thoughtful explanation. And I’m grateful that YT put you in my path. I’ve learned a lot from your channel and always look forward to new videos. Keep doing what you’re doing and focus on the people with big, kind hearts and not the haters!!
Fascinating AND beautiful. Thank you for your insights. You are educating your viewers which, as a Jewish woman in the UK, raised observing a small portion of religious rules is completely enlightening. ❤
This was very well done, Freida! To those who would point a finger to accuse, they simply don't understand that you have thoughtfully addressed your stance or perhaps they are just judgmental. When hearing you speak about your visits after covid, it speaks volumes that people have not 'disowned" you. They care about you and yours! I so enjoy each of your videos. To those who would like to criticize you or your choice in clothing (or presentations) I am reminded of one of my mother's favorite sayings. "It's their problem, not yours!"
Hi Frida, I am not surprised that the Chassidic community treats you well. You have a sweet, kind demeanor and even if you wear pants, you don't dress provocative ly nor do you speak about the religion in an unloving or disrespectful way, even though you have left it. As an orthodox but nonchassidic Jew, I am curious about other religions. I've been watching about people who left the Amish, and there is so much bitterness and hatred on both sides. You are respectful about our religion always, and that comes across loud and clear. Kol hakavod!!
You are a pleasure to listen to and I really enjoy your respectful and insightful interviews. I am a frum Jewish woman and I am very proud of you as a person, woman, mother and your willingness to be honest and vunerable.
Thank you Frieda, for saying what you certainly didn’t have to say. I admire deeply your ability to be unapologetically yourself. I wish I’d had more of that in my life.
I admire you for leaving a community yet you continuously speak very lovingly about the community, sharing with us a wide spectrum of subjects regarding the community and in my opinion very respectfully. You always dress lovely and again in my opinion respectfully. Thank you for your content, thank you for sharing 🌻
You are doing great in educating me in the way others practice their religion. You're not intrusive, you're not judgemental, you're not opinionated one way or the other... you are educating us in the way of others' religious lives. Humanity must know about others' way of living to understand, and to let be. Thank you for all your videos. Blessings.
What an amazingly inspirational woman you are, you treat your videos with such respect. You have shown amazing strength of character with this you tube video and I want to say thankyou for it
I think you are doing a wonderful job and never felt you were disrespectful and for sure not confrontational. You bring the human side and information so that there can be understanding of a community that is different but because of you now less strange.
Grateful you posted this. I appreciate that you speak with so much kindness and efforts to increase understanding - It seems you are like Aaron HaCohen.
I love how you are so honest and open!!! I am a Frum teen and I just want to point out that the people who confront you about this are doing it out of love. (Some of them don't do it in a politically correct way😆 ). I fully respect you and it is totally your choice how to live your life. Something that helps me dress modestly, is realizing that I am not doing it just because of societies standards. I am doing it out of love for Hashem and the will to follow the halachos and serve Him.
I admire your balance and how well you describe your thoughts and feelings. ❤️👏 You tackle touchy subjects so well and are a good example of respect and compassion towards others❤️ keep up the good work!! 👏
Disgusting!!! If the “Trolls” are unhappy please don’t watch!!! I’m not of the Jewish faith but soo enjoy watching & listening to you!!! Thankyou from the UK💕💕💕
I have great respect for you and what you do. It is impossible to please everyone. You strike a good compromise , and are a very brave woman. I am so sorry for any hurt these inappropriate comments have caused you and for emotional pain or discomfort. As an aside, I do think the general NYC community think the Hasidic community is “weird”and there is a lot of antisemitism . Part of this is because there is NO understanding of the community, and you help to bring about a greater understanding of this community, thus YOU have gone a long way to replace antisemitism with understanding. You have helped the Hasidic community more than I suspect you realize . Keep up the good work.
Beautifully stated. I have learned so much from your little channel. I am half Jewish raised Catholic but always allowed by my Mum who is Catholic to embrace my Jewish side.
I want to share with you here a sweet moment from Hasidic Williamsburg - an elderly man commenting on my wearing red. It's a bit of loving teasing.

Right; should we be expected to wear sleeves and long dresses in Brooklyn? The streets, the corner shops, are they holy places?
This is very well said and agree

You are so far from disrespectful. Your videos never disrespect anyone. Keep sharing with us and try not to let the haters get to you.
So beautifully said. Your integrity and generous spirit shine so bright in this. You brought tears to my eyes.
That's it exactly -- you put into words what I struggled to do. Thank you
You do a wonderful job of treating the Hasidic community respectfully.
You are not disrespectful, you are sharing the culture that most people are not familiar with.
Thank you so much! I appreciate that you can understand. ❤️
@philomenaSK I feel like its often the ppl in the religions that create issues as opposed to the religion itself. Those that discriminate against us often are far from perfect themselves and try to project their negativity on to others to hurt them. This is not a religious issue its a community issue withon the religion.

@@FriedaVizelBrooklyn - I will be joining you channel. Sorry that I haven’t until now.
Frieda - I have learned so much from your videos and have always been impressed by how RESPECTFUL you are toward people you disagree with. Don’t stop being yourself!
Frieda you are a decent honorable woman who deserves to express yourself wearing whatever you want !
Love South Africa! I have the best memories from there.
😍☺️☺️☺️
What a well reasoned argument. Thank you.
@@Tali5899 how many people have you stoned for breaking the shabbath recently?
@@Tali5899don’t make the laws more important than the faith in Hashem.
There are only 10 laws and those are the Commandments. Everything else is commentary.
What ever God creates is good, He said it himself.
He gave us the 10 Commandments, He felt 10 was good.
Complicating a thing doesn’t make it better.
I notice more and more people, each year, walking away from strict religious communities such as;
Amish
Catholic
Hasidic
Orthodoxy of any kind
And even some Protestant communities.
Don't let the trolls drag you down or make you second guess yourself. Haters gonna hate.
A heart bof gold!!!
I wish more people would be like you❤
This warms my heart and my soul. Oh we all are in need of a Frieda in our life.

@@FriedaVizelBrooklyn if they're so heilige they're not watching videos to begin with. So I would take that claim with a pound of salt.

I love my life and my community. And it's so fun to watch it thru your eyes! I don't see disrespect at all. Coming to the community dressed appropriately modest doesn't mean wearing the full chassidish style.

I find you are very respectful & still informative which i appreciate. How will we ever learn anything about different communities/beliefs if not for people like you!
This is an example of the very thoughtful and sensitive vlogs that bring so many to your channel.
You are courteous, kind, wise, respectful. I love your interactions with Pearl!
I absolutely appreciate, admire, and respect you in every way. You are a very brave, articulate, and wonderful human. Keep doing you. You are great!
Thank you for taking the time to speak openly about respect vs. imitation. You are right not to dress just like the Hasidic women. But to show respect by not violating the rules for outsiders. They are showing respect by explaining what is expected. I always explained to my children the expectations of behavior/dress for any place we went.
Thank you for this… :)
Aww, thank you. Come down sometime. NYC is a wonderful place to visit, well worth it. I’m biased maybe.

@@FriedaVizelBrooklyn And for that my dear you deserve a special gan eden. A gan eden for women in pants...
