I've been losing alot with Zhask lately, cause of his nerf and new passive. Might learn a few things from this video and probably make me use him again. Thanks Betosky!

I tried Zhask physical build(mm build) and his basic attack dealers crazy damage along with first skill but main skill don't do much damage , tried it yesterday.

Anybody remember when zhask was so op late game that he could take on all 5 ememies at base by himself with his ult? Been zhask main for a while through the ups and downs... 58% wr 2030 matches
yep agreed with you. i have around 4k+ match using him now, before the huge nerf on him i have wr of 68% and 3.2k match but now wr dropped rock bottom to 60%😂
@@royandy3462 u lost me when u said it dropped to 60%. That's almost impossible, considering how hard it is to change a win-rate significantly at 3k+ matches, unless you have a 30% win rate with him or something in a season.

I used to have 70% winrate, but after the nerf from last year I still insisted to play him and my wr went to 64%. Now with my newly found build, my winrate slowly increasing to 66.5% now. It took so many wins just to get 2% beacuse of high matches
I like playing Zhask since 2019, because Zhask neft or buff it reached me to MG 1420pts. Some players say he is a trash, but for me he is a gold one. As Zhask user I really appreciate you share bright Idea of Zhask

Try Calamity Reaper with Zhask, both him and his spawn triggers the effect, his spawn triggers it very easily because its 3rd attack(the long beam) is considered a skill and will trigger the true damage. It also provides mana regen and CD. Since I realized this, I started using a hybrid of Clock of Destiny and atk speed build.
Day 82/100 for Thamuz.
I don't see IQW slow triggered by the spawn.
Yes, Calamity Reaper is so good for him. You can trigger the true damage twice at the same time. And you can also spam it

@@obviouslyme1293 IQW trigger on LASER atk since its magic. The first two shot is basic atk, so trigger slow from corrosive scyte.

I wished he can do basic attacks while in spawn too, so we can control who the spawn will target

As a Zhask veteran, I played him a lot. Here a few tips; Use Mystery Shop talent, he's highly depend on equipment. For battle spell; personally, Inspire is his bread & butter. Use Flame Shot to outplay enemies, you can use it in Ulti mode. This may sound doubtful, but Windtalker is excellent on him. You can search my account, Lock-On. My history was filled with Zhask gameplay using Windtalker. 👍

But •Demon Shoes• is more practical. Then •Feather of Heaven•, •Genius Wand•(basic att can reduce magic def), •Windtalker•(you'll reduce magic def faster), •Holy Crystal•(to compensate Windtalker). Lastly, you can be flexible for 6th item, •Winter Truncheon• for defensive play. •Fleeting Time• to join teamfight frequently, & •Divine Glaive•(Not optimal to build with •Genius Wand•, but it doesn't make much difference anyway.)

I miss the old zhask 🤧.When I first started playing zhask it was so fun n op. I even got in India rank.But after the nerf I don't even play him 🙄.Even if you play good n control the early game, late game ur ult is crushed like anything .Only if you have good dominating hyper ur useful .If not then u just feel so useless in late !! 😢💔
Late game do only team fights, ganks..1 vs 1 against MM is useless
I appreciate you doing a video for Zhask. Moonton killed the op level of Zhask when they decided to remove the full HP of the second phase of his Ultimate, arguing that it was a "bug". It wasn't a bug. It was like that for more than 1 year. So after that, they added more HP to the ulti (not enough to bring him back to the op level) and now they added lifesteal to the basic attacks of his ulti (still not enough to bring him back to the op level).
At first, they were supposed to give him magic lifesteal to all his ulti (not only the basic attacks). That would have been enough to bring him back to the op level (in my opinion as main Zhask). But this buff they did is not enough to bring him back. It only makes him like 10% better, still not enough.
As for the video, I didn't like it so much, it's not bad but it's not good either and I usually like your videos. I wouldn't recommend Impure Rage in his emblem. Yes, he consumes a lot of Mana but more importantly, Zhask is a hero that depends a lot on his items so he needs to use the 10% store discount emblem point to get the items faster. The spell is also wrong. Who are Zhask counters? Flicker isn't gonna do much against his counters, for example Zilong, Flicker's gonna help? No. Against assasins? No. So IMO, it's not worth it. You were lucky that Zilong was just a bad player or his team was bad. You said it yourself, you gotta have your Ultimate ready if Zilong attacks you BUT you don't have 1 single item for CD reduction so your build is also wrong. Ice Queen Wand doesn't fit Zhask. He either needs CD reduction, attack speed and/or high damage items. Ice Queen Wand can be used with Zhask when Zhask is abusing the game already, like 2k or 3k farm above rivals because just by outfarming your rivals, the burst will be there even with Ice Queen Wand. But in balanced games, that Ice Queen won't do much. Just like Glowing Wand, not recommend on Zhask either. As main Zhask, I'm dissapointed with Zhask's buff, still not enough for him to be considered an S level hero in the tier lists.

Situation build? Well idk COD+Magic wand +lightning truncheon and winter truncheon ? That is suitable for all situations thelast slot for either divine glaive for melting enemy or def for yourself possibly yep im not the guy
@@ranseysophon10a53 It depends on several factors: How you use the hero (camper style like Eudora, Aurora, Kadita, etc) or if you're aggresive/active. It also depends if you're midlane or sidelane Zhask. It also depends on the enemy's team heroes composition. If you use Zhask as a camper, then you need a high damage build (either CoD + LT combo) or (Holy Crystal, 2 magic pen items, etc).
If your Zhask had a bad early game and is a little or a lot behind in farm, then you will need to go with straight full damage (Holy Crystal and magic penetration). The thing with CoD + LT is that it takes like 10 minutes or more to complete so it reduces his damage on the early game and sometimes you need that damage.
If your Zhask had a great early game and you have high farm compared to your rivals, then it's better to do atk speed + cd reduction items, for example: Boots, Feather of Heaven (FoH), Fleeting Time, Windtalker, Genius Wand or Divine Glaive and Holy Crystal (something like that). Because even though FoH is nerfed and Windtalker doesn't have damage, your high farm will compensate that "low damage".
If you're facing assasins like Karina, Lancelot, Ling, etc, use Windtalker + Fleeting Time + FoH combo. You need mobility to try and dodge skills and also atk speed + constant ulti in case they ambush you or want to kill you fast. No need to put high damage items vs them because they will just run away fast and comeback to kill you.
As for the boots, only use Mana Boots. Don't use Swift Boots (atk speed boots) nor any other boot, maybe only Magic Pen boots (although this is when you totally dominate Zhask). Mana Boots allow you to use your skills to clear minion waves faster and that allows you to rotate to other lanes faster. You can buy the +10 atk speed small item after the Mana boots or after FoH (costs 280 i think) if you want, it's only -5 less atk speed than the swift boots.
If you play vs heavy fighters (Thamuz, Gato, Barats, etc), then the CoD + LT is better. Always use Feather of Heaven or Windtalker (1 of the 2). Both only if the situation I described above happens (assasins). Never use Ice Queen Wand nor Glowing Wand on Zhask, there are better items for him. Emblem should be on Mov Speed, Magic Pen and 10% store discount.
Also practice how to enter teamfights better and also practice which skills to throw after you're inside the ulti. For example, if you use your ulti and you use skill 3 and 2, the laser beam will do 2 basic attacks and then throw the beam. If you use skill 3 or skill 2 (inside the ulti) only and let the ulti shoot, the beam will come out straight away, no need to wait for the 2 basic attacks. I'm assuming you know how to use the 2nd phase of his ulti.
Its just my build,but i used ,the speed boots+ligthning truncheon+feather of heaven+windtalker or Demon hunter+clock of destiny(clock of destiny and truncheon is so good combo in my opinion)the rest is up to you(,but once you build the clock and truncheon+speed boots,you can melt already in early to mid game,),if they have regen,build necklace of durance,or if penetration,used the pen item,or holy crystal for more damage,lately ive added the book thing that has unlimited mana,but i will only do it if i am a support mage.basically,my core items are,clock+speed boots+truncheon,feather of heaven+windtalker+(rest is all attack speed)

Zhask n his lore has an ability to spawnmany spawn but in real game, he bare can control or relocate his spawn exactly, maybe change his skill 3 to an spawn egg and enemy who touches it gets stuned for 0.5 seconds and hatch the egg, skill 2 can actuvate the egg to hatch and in ultimate phase he can spawn a bigger egg for a slughtly bigger spawn

The problem with zhask is that he sucks in offensive situations, relying on defensive situations where the enemy has to come to him instead of him coming to them. Lack of burst and immediate cc is the cause of this.

Currently i have 4k+ match using zhask.
From my point of view the latest revamp on his ult kinda not bad nor good. They revamp the ult & passive but nerf the HP which either bad or good as i said just now. Nevertheless i'm rarely using him now, after the huge nerf .
Got few suitable build i can give for zhask,
1st is Speed+True Dmg (golden staff)+(Calamity) plus others zhask core item which is (Feather F.o.H)
2nd build is Burst ( CoD+LT) together with Holy crystal and Blood wings, again with core item (FoH)
3rd build is Dmg/Supp which i'm still testing now, Tank item (Dominion Ice)+ (either Athena or other defend item base on enemy composition) "cause spawn does share the item effect" and (NoD)+(IQW) and the rest of item is Magic Damage.
Again these build is purely learned base on my experience using zhask this whole time, and all build usage is purely base on enemy composition example enemy have alot of squishy hero or have too many sustain hero.

It's actually better to use Zhask with inspire, since there's a slight delay before he can enter his ult, you can quickly use inspire at that moment

It was like almost a year since I stopped playing Mobile Legends and I was a Zhask main. Happy to see zhask vid again
For those who doesnt know how to play zhask, after using ult u guys should use his 3rd skill becuz it can slow enemy down(and burst enemy), and dont ever use 2nd skill it has delay(except ur teammate stun him and then u use 2nd skill to stun again). I see beto make a lot of mistakes there (becuz he is not zhask player lmao).

Damn, I used to remember how Zhask in the late game with full build and inspire can literally melt down a marksman in a split second with his ult as well as how his 1st skill can shred away your health so easily.

Zhask still works with speed build but he now works more amazingly when paired with calamity of reaper and DMG items
Ice queen wand doesn't work on Zhask spawn cuz the damage is considered as basic attack. It doesn't trigger the item slow

As a zhask main, i can say that surely with the last nerf zhask was put down quite low, but now in the latest adjustment he is back to being good mage, tho not OP like the first zhask we all loved and fear but nonetheless a good pick.
Personally i use sprint as my battle spell for running away from enemies if my ult is in cool down.
I believe that its better than dying trying to overpower the enemy gank.🤣

Zhask can easily be countered by killing his spawn early game (assuming you are a ranged mage in mid as well) since you out range it. Killing it also gives an exp and gold advantage, also if you are the jungle just retribution his ult spawn and it will take a huge amount of damage. Wish they could adapt zhask more to be as scary as his former glory, as well as how his story portrays him to be

As a newly zhask user i have a few problems with him
1.Mobility-his only mobility skill is his ultimate (2nd phase) and ulti+skill 1 which is hard when doing clutch plays or outplays
2.) Easy To Counter
When zhask uses ulti the enemy will just go away from the perimeter meaning its a waste sometimes enemies like zilong or any burst damage can ambush

3rd Skill Can Slow Down Creep/Minions/Heroes Add It With His Spawn And Boom Your Enemy's Hp Is Reduce Into Half
2. vision
Thanks To His Spawn's Radius You Can Give Vision To Bushes And Damage Them A Bit This Helps When Taking Major Objectives Like Lord Or Turtle(it kinda same with nanas 2nd skill but its permanent and no time limit)

I think zhask is very lacking since he's pretty dead when someone dives him and his spawns are so squishy no matter build u give him, I think it would be better if they'll give zhask two spawns so it's opens a lot of possibilities for him so he can put a defensive spawn and spawn forward idk what they'll gonna do with his ulti but two spawn is not OP if they just balance the dmg of his spawns
All i want with Zhask now is they bring back the tankiness of his Ult, his Ult is very squishy now.
@@Molacules tbh the zhask 1.0 was so good and then moontoon decided to revamp him for no reason, the amount of hp of his ulti spawn was so perfect, especially when the first skill spawn could slow then stun the heroes it was the most good zhask ever. No one would be too dumb to 1v1 zhask those time even though zhask couldn't still hide on his ult, the third basic attack of spawn that can stun is enough for him

There is a thing I will like to share about Zhask , his Ultimate basic attack isn't counted as basic attack it's spell vamp so high attack speed isn't ideal to build now

if it ain't counted as basic attack then why does the passive of golden staff still works on her ult? i always build gs with her and her long beam mode attack 2 times
@@hehe-jg8zz it doesn't work after the update, i also use to build that . When I tested it his basic attack speed didn't went higher than 2.01 even with inspire.
Im pretty sure his first 2 attacks are considered basic attacks which is why it csn trigger calamity but the continuous laser is the one that is considered as a skill cause only then can it trigger item psssives or atleast thats how it was when i experimented
His core item is feathers over heaven and for additional speed attack use Golden staff so that you don't need inspire spell.For ultimate cast use Fleet time that way if kill or assit to killing enemies heroes your ultimate cast every 5 sec.

With all respect beto playing with inspire is the key my friend plays him since the buff again 1800 matches 75% and he’s kicking some butts

Zhask is one of my faves especially after the buff
As a zhask user. What makes zhask very bad now is the transfer animation from his Ultimate. You can get a lot of kills with the no delay on the previous zhask
Something that might be worth it to note is that the spawn, as a summoned unit, still gives gold and xp on death, which can give your Laning partner and advantage early on
put it a little bit away from minions and walk away if the spawn is low hp
@@biladd8360 personally, I hide it in the bush, which keeps me safe from being ganked from that side, while also making it decidedly more difficult to kill
Wait, does Ice Cream Wand slow trigger with his spawn? I thought it's a basic atk since Golden Staff procs, too.
I think one of the reasons he's not getting pick often is because it's really hard to build him.
Someone from this comment said that zhask's spawn 3rd attack (the intense laser beam one) considered as a skill. So maybe that't the reason for IQW

beto play zhask :), I have a suggestion for you, you should use Inspire to maximum Zhask damage instead flicker.
Also, try to use Cooldown build like fleeting time, it can help you boost the cooldown whenever assist or kill
If they change the way stun works with the bug into, when u cast stun, bug follows your direction instead of where bugs aim (second spell).
That would make Zhask stronger in early game, but not like crazy strong..

Zhask is really one of the scary mage before but the nerf hit him hard. Back then when you use ult and damaged you can reset the ult HP by repawning it with first skill but now they compensate it with magical lifesteal on ult
And the developer further reduce his Ult hp for that very low magic lifesteal, that's why i felt his Ult is more squishy now, it will only last 1-2 seconds with bursty enemy damage 😆
