Betosky serves a drug, everytime i watch his videos i have a sudden urge to try that hero after finishing the video and not to mention his playing style that helps a lot.
Tip: To easily do 4blades combo, don’t aim directly at the blade. Instead, aim at the side of the blade then aim at the inner part of the next blades. The hitbox of swords are pretty big so you can pick it up even if you are not directly aiming at it. Also when casting ult, a sword will always appear on where you movement stick was last aimed at. I think Ling is better after the update. I really like to use marksman emblem with crit chance, crit damage and electro flash. Also I build Berserker's fury first item. That gives a lot more crits and damage in early game.

I’m slow hands with less than 10 games with Ling and I’m consistently getting gold ratings and MVP, his damage is just dumb. Ling flies around with excellent mobility, is immune while ulting, and also deals ludicrous damage. In solo queue even Mobazane’s Roger, YSS, etc can flop.
You can but it's a low chance on winning, he deals large amount of damage if u get the core items and u have to pay attention to your mana bar, so technically you can but you probably gonna get flamed for it lol
I build Ling with marksman emblem for the boost to item damage and increased crit rate. Even if I only have berserkers fury as a crit item, still end up with close to 90 crit rate. The rest of the items are for physical damage and a bit of cooldown. I generally play tank but Ling is one of the few assassins I actually kind of like playing because of how crazy his burst potential is.
As a Ling main, I always max out first my 2nd skill because you can have your items in the late game. If you manage to max out your 1st skill first then your damage will quite low at the early phase of the game. Ling's source of damage is his 2nd skill, tho both of his 1st and 2nd skill doesn't reduce its cooldown. But you'd better max out your 2nd skill first, its your source of damage. You can have Windtalker and Berserker's Fury in the early to mid game for crit so you shouldn't max out your 1st skill (20-15 sec cd tho.)
This skin is definitely worth it for full-time ling mains. But for beginners, it’s unfortunate since it doesn’t show where the 4 swords will land on the ult for them to have a delay prediction where to dash next. But overall the skill effects are definitely amazing! Hope they’ll actually add the sword indicators soon :3

Hororo, you should try ling tank, very hard to kill, decent damage. Emblem Tank(Concusive blast or Tenacity) or Support(any) -Tough Boots/Warrior Boots(depends on the enemies CC comp) -Thunder Belt. -Twilight Armor. -Guardian Helmet(no more recall and lots of additional damage from the first two item) or Athena Shield(for one hit mages) -Brute force/Blade armor(for basic attack team comp, like zilong, miya, lesley, Moskov)/Dominance ice(for anti regen) -Immortal. Easy MVP, almost impossible to kill when played properly. Keep you energy in check and keep your first skill to escape or Secure Kill(mostly to escape at 20% hp or lower). Use skill 2 to get close to their back line, Auto attack a few times(or Ult right away if enemies have lots of cc/to avoid CC) when enemies get huddle together use ult and follow up swords combo. Pros -Enemies will be forced to target you even if they know you are a tank(which is a good thing), because you can still easily kill their back line. -Very Hard to kill Cons -CC enemies can still stun lock you, especially franco, so dont go rambo if your team are not around.
For anyone who Plays Ling, I have some advice For you guys as A ling main in advance server and original, yes its up to you to either gor 1st skill or 2nd skill to max but fir the emblems system where betosky said he Maxes the crit part of it. Note there will be new emblem system soon coming to original server which will give ling a new 2nd emblem boost. "Dashing Dart" everytime a hero uses a movement or dash skill next attack is increased by 6%. All emblems so far are only at lv.20 in Advance server so meaning Having max assasin and Crit Build right now is good but when the upfate for the new emblems come Take this advice. Upgrade 2nd skill first, pick dashing dart in your emblems and Boom. Your ling will hurt. A lot.
DHS was good before revamp. Now it's much better to build Beserker Fury and Windtalker first cause then he will almost 90% of the time do crit damage. I am not saying DHS is bad but it's not worth buying early game after you build your 3 core items u can go for DHS

Ive learned in this video the being fast hands isnt all to ling and that i just need to focus when fighting and attacj the backlines because i usually go fiht the enemies at the frontlines instead of the mages and markmans at the back lines infact i didn't think about doing that and because of that i die to the strong frontliners

You just have to be careful with your 1st skill more now that it has a monstrous cooldown
Oh and I think he's much better because now with his buffed strength, you could kill any squishy hero with ease. Before, Ling was used to be known for his mobility (fast hands) but now it's different

I was planing to buy Ling M-World skin but he can be countered to easily and no blue buff is quite a pain to play so I’m buy Claude instead cuz Claude can deal a crap ton of dmg when he got DHS and Golden staff and you adjust your mana easily just don’t use ur second skill to often in early game. And he and he speedy if you build Brute force and his passive so it kinda hard to chase him too cuz his second skill allow you to do some insane juking moment and that is sometime quite satisfying.
you said gank bottom to help feed your mm but at the same time you are stealing the gold plate on the first 5 mins. its kinda counter intuitive. stick to your farm and leave the gold to your mm especially when enemy has been killed.

I like to build Demon hunter sword at the starting for Hp based damage,it also helps clears jungle much faster
