Now a days rendition of suchraga as Gavati is scarcely we heard so beautifully..I only remember a nice performance of this raga in Guitar by Viswamohan Bhatt..wonderful.
How is it that all the names Abhishek these days are playing with the best perfection and Raagdari? From Kolkata (my own circuit in east) its Abhishek Lahiri and from the west it is Abhishek Borkar. Imperative to say excellent rendition of Gavati on madhaylaya on 10beats ... love it
Loved the bhairvi bandish too ...back in the day I used to carry a LP vinyl of a duet by Pandit RaviShankar Ji and Ustad Ali Akhbar khan sahab... very subtle implementation of Maihar gharana .. thanks ...
