I must say, you did a spectacular job on the Retaliator barrel integration. In the first views of the blaster, I totally thought that was just part of the original thing; it's that good.

why can't nerf do a longshot as powerful as this one? it is soposed to be a sniper rifle and it has less range than a regular blaster...

This is nobody beats coop in efficiency he cranks out a longshot in 6 minutes

nerf wizard it's time lapsed so it probably took like 2 hours.
When you do your modifications they always look really professional where as other nerfers can make them look quite sloppy
You're work is so much cleaner than Drac's! Nice job! I prefer shot gun pump, but it looks great
to be fair, this is a springer blaster which doesnt require any sort of electronic enhancements. so no replacement switches or anything to finagle into place that might make some bits stick out a little

Remember when coop would say supah smooth? Apparently he doesn't think it's appropriate any more.
In 5:56 I almost thought of Frank adding a piece of polycarbonate on the front directly below the barrel attachment lug to make it a bit more cleaner and more professional

Coop it amazes me how seamless your integrations and paint schemes all look. They look like they were supposed to be there from stock form.
The paint job on this one is so nice and clean. Almost looks like something off factory lines.

I usually prefer Nerf Longshot, even if modified, with the scope; but other than that, you did a nice job on the modification's!!!

Hey Frank, as an owner of a huge collection of citadel paints, I was wondering if from your experience you felt they ended up being durable enough for play out in the field? I'm assuming you'd use a varnish over all the paint?

Nerf needs to hire modders. So each blaster meets some sort of minimum standard when it comes to doing what it's marketed to do and making it customizable and modable if one chooses

I would love to come down to florida and buy this from you, especially if you are willing to include a matching painted modulous barrel extension segment and a modulous sniper barrel.
Just want to let you guys know that for a good addition spring, the lanard quad shot spring is fantastic, I used it with the other mods in this video and I am getting 80 ft ranges!

I use a dual oring system on my longshot, and it runs a Magnus spring and a thunderbow spring. It hurts to be hit by ;)

Out of curiosity, do you know of any kits for internalized pump action mechanisms? There are a few external ones, but a lot of them look out of place or bulky.

The only additional thing I would ask for is a slick underhand pump action (à la Alpha Trooper) to replace that side bolt. Can this be done in a subtle way that doesn't scream "obvious external two-foot kludge"?
Or would it just be easier to mod an Alpha Trooper and integrate Longshot parts?

Thegodofpainxxl I don't know what it's called exactly as I live in Canada and they don't sell it here, but I believe it's just called the home depot assorted spring pack. It comes with 2 of the NF size springs (the ones you want, work great in LSs as well) and 2 small ones you might be able to use as catch springs. The spring load for the large ones should be around 25lbs.

We picked a couple of these up for 15 bucks on sale...How much of an improvement do these mods make? And do I have to buy those springs in a six pack? Thanks

What was the point of adding that "Perfect Match" spray if you already had the primer coat on? did you just want the lighter colour of black but wanted it on top of the vinyl dye?
Aaron Lebel The vinyl dye acts as a primer. The Perfect Match gray was the base coat. I didn't want a black base color, I wanted gray. The final color you see in the finished product is the gray Perfect Match.
