The designs in every generation are overall good. people have nostalgia goggles for gen one and don't remember "Seal Spelled Wrong," "Dugong spelled wrong," Pokéball, and Upside Down Pokéball. They love bashing Klinklang, Vanilluxe, and Garbodor, but forget about Pokémon like Krookodile, Volcarona, and Cofagrigus. Oh right speedruns
@@johnhawkins5314 Lol I love Trubbish but I like Muk and Alolan Muk More than Garbodor. I also like Magnezone more than Klinklang, but I'd like both if Klang had better stats and moves
The thing with gen 1 is that the Pokémon actually look like monsters hence the name pocket monsters. While nowadays a lot of Pokémon look like they were designed as plushies
Firstly, I would like to reference Dragonite, which is the least menacing fully evolved Dragon-type without a good excuse, because Altaria is literally made of clouds, and Dragonite isn't all that threatening. Secondly, I would like to point out that Grimer/Muk and Voltorb/Electrode are some of the most pointless evolutionary lines around, because in both cases both stages do exactly the same thing with their design, with no major differences of any interest (Alolan Grimer/Muk fixes this with the colour additions and extra solid parts on evolution, but that's a gen VII design, not a gen I design). Thirdly, I would like to point out that things like Dhelmise and the Ultra Beasts are if anything more monstrous than anything Gen 1 has to offer, that Jigglypuff, Clefairy and Pikachu are gen I Pokemon, and that we can't judge VIII on its starters because the base stage of the starters is always on the cuddly side, and all the menacing part comes after evolution (Particular point - Squirtle to Blastoise, Charmander to Charizard. Bulbasaur is a bit of an exception, but it's the only one across all generations and is still not actually menacing before evolution) Finally, I would like to point out that there are far fewer VII Pokemon where we only know a single sentence about them than there are for any other generation, even when counting by % of new Pokemon, and also to note that Magnezone is gen IV, not gen I, and thus should not count towards gen I at all.
I'm really looking forward for this to be finished, what an awesome concept and a funny one given that this will be the most optimized TAS of hundo when it premieres, also i would like to suggest that Dry uploads the video only in the main channel, as usual, and the video with the twitch chat on the second channel for us the youtube plebs to get a taste of the full ZFG experience...
It ought to be slightly better, as his gold splits aren't all necessarily perfect - there will be unoptimal movement/rng that he's saving time on. Added to this, he's also using some strats that are a bit rng heavy and too risky for RTA, like one-trip BoTW.
If he thinks it's a bad Pokemon, My level 86 one can one shot most level 100s, Mine is the real MVP, it proves just how powerful Leafeon is. Edit: Probably spelled his name wrong lol so I put a new one.

Holy shit i got ads again. Hurray.
I read that as "aids" first D:
I like this new Dampe montage.
This doesn’t seems realistic. No human could ever get first try sun’s song.

In theory final time of the TAS should be more or less equal to sum of best right ?
He might do 1 or 2 tricks too hard to make in a RTA run, but possible enough to do it in the TAS
In theory, this in-theory TAS should be equal to his in-theory sum of best. In theory, that is Kappa
