Nice tutorial!
I like how you have gone from long range with the teep to medium range with the jab and palm strike to close range with the elbow.
All of them are really great tutorials!
Hey GNT, first of you all you do a phenominal job with your tutorials. Very few martial artists put that much thought into their techniques and are able to execute as precise as you do. Even fewer can teach these fine points as well as you do.
One minor thing you missed to emphasize enough, in my opinion, is a common beginners mistake: when performing the elbow strike, make sure not to hit only with the tip of your elbow (especially when breaking boards) to prevent injuries.
Keep up the excellent work! :)
I appreciate you saying that and good point...see what I did there haha
Always keep that guard folks! Gnt, no matter how this month turns out, can I just say that your subscriber interaction has been phenomenal. Granted they may have been a sentence or two but you've responded all nearly all my comments across your videos and that makes a difference( not just this month either. Looks like you reply to a lot of your subs as well).
Same here man. He's actually one among a few I know who make the effort to answer to everyone of his subs :)
Bobbarice true you the man gnt
For sure!
I always have tried to since the beginning (nearly 5 years now) so thank you for noticing and taking the time to send a nice comment. Thank you :)
Thank you :)
Thank you for your support :)
definitely one of my favorite gnt instruction videos so far
This looks like a really good move to back of your opponent
Great tutorial
For sure and Thank you :)
The attention to detail is incredible. Going to miss these daily videos.
Thank you :)
Excellent points! Thank you! I would also recommend not rushing to your opponent with an elbow because it would lose to a jab or haymaker, but this is my go to strike in clinch and grapple situations.
I'm glad you thought so and cool :)
Boom I did Thai for 8 yrs and it was the technique that took me the longest to learn. Thank you for the tutorial and your movement is smooth as always so pity anyone who gets your elbow in their head
Up close and personal with the opponent. Always throws them off. Great work.👍🏼👍🏼
For sure and Thank you :)
I can actally say that I learned something new and not just sharpened a technique that I already know. Very well done man :D
I'm glad it helped and Thank you :)
Honestly, you have such a huge arsenal of techniques, mad respect to you. Thanks for the video.
I appreciate you saying that and No problem :)
I always felt like the elbows are the knives of unarmed fighting. I really like, that you not only give attention to the strike itself, but the defense while doing so aswell, great work as always :)
I'm glad you did and Thank you :)
Elbow strikes are harder to pull off than one would think. Thanks for all the types!
Depends on the situation and opponent. No problem :)
I hope I never need it, but if I do - I'm glad to be equipped with this knowledge. And my elbows. :D
:D
I tried your elbow strike after throwing palm strike.
This combination really works against an opponent...
Nice vid and thank you for it.
Cool and No problem :)

When working on pads, I like to use elbows followed up by chain punches, it's surprisingly powerful!

Stay relaxed is one of the hardest thing to do (for me at least) either in combat but more specially in pattern TUL (TKD ITF). I liked the front as a way to get closer. Thanks again GNT.
